Hello. I haven't been able to open Figma for three days now. Error -106 is displayed, although my internet connection is fine

Thank you for confirming! I suspect a network issue in your case -- please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

If you're using a firewall, proxy, or Virtual Private Network (VPN), we recommend you ask your IT department or systems administrator to unblock Port 443. This is the standard port for websites that are run over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

If that doesn't seem to be the cause of the issue, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Check your internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to the internet and that there are no issues with your connection. It may help to connect to a different network (i.e. mobile hotspot) to see if this solves the problem.
  • Restart your router: Sometimes, simply restarting your router can resolve connection issues. To do this, unplug your router from the power outlet and wait a few seconds before plugging it back in.
  • Restore your Firewall to its default settings: This has helped many others in the past.
  • Flush your DNS cache: Flushing your DNS cache can help resolve issues with your internet connection.
  • Check if there are any issues with your browser: You can try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. You can also try clearing your browser cache and cookies.
  • Check for any browser extensions or plugins that may be causing the issue and try disabling them.
  • Check if there are any issues with your antivirus or firewall software. You can try temporarily disabling these programs to see if they are causing the issues as well.

If you still have issues, let me know.

Hi @gaurene - sorry for the trouble. Are you by chance located in Uzbekistan? We have some reports of that error in a thread that may be related here.

Please let me know if that is the case.
