Report a Problem

Hi there- I went to login to my paid Figma account and couldn’t remember my password since refreshing my cache, so I decided to login with my Gmail to save time. When I did, it briefly flashed me my existing account with my previous work, before then prompting me to create a new account entirely. I now seem to be locked out of my paid account using the same email. It’s like Figma created an entirely new account for me, using the same email, but now it’s the Starter Plan (free) and has none of my previous work. Help!

Hello,  I cannot access my education plan. I went through SheerID and they said that you guys will walk through this with me. Here is my proof of verification. Email address: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information] Verification ID: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information] Date of approval: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]

I recently purchased figma professional full seat. From past few days i am facing this error in figma Make. couldn’t move forward nor revert back to previous version. I tried long detailed, short and crisp prompts, not working. please help ASAP. I am running out of time to submit my portfolio.Figma make error with the prompt.

I have had a paid plan for several years now, and after updating my email address my account was downgraded to a Starter Plan. I don’t have access to my previous email, so I can’t retrieve my sales receipt. I started a chat with the AI agent and was recommended to submit a Support Form, but since I am now on the Starter Plan that options is not available to me. There is no way to check what happened to my plan, so I am here in the forum hoping someone can't get me out of the logic loop I am stuck in.I would appreciate any help!

Hello, I have been messaging back and forth with Figma for months; however, there is no one directly being able to assist me. I have verified my account through SheerID, and they gave me a verification code. However, Figma is unable to create my educational plan. I have messaged them many times, and I haven’t gotten a response yet. It keeps asking for verification, so I resubmitted the form and I keep getting the error that verification limit exceeded. Can anyone assist at Figma or will I be not receiving any information going forward as I have already attempted to go through every outlet?

Note: I originally created another topic for this, but made a mistake in titling the post, and I could neither edit the title of that post nor delete the post.  Please delete that one—this is the corrected version. On the “Create plugin” modal that shows up when one chooses “New plugin…” from “Plugins › Development”, there are two choices, represented by two cards: “Multi-product” and “Figma Design”.  These are designed as “mega-radio buttons” where the entire card acts as a radio button—clicking on the card will select that option as if it were the radio button itself. There are also actual radio buttons on these cards, in their upper-left corners, and clicking anywhere on the card toggles these radio buttons to their “selected” state and also wraps the whole card in a thick, higher-contrast border to create a whole-card “selected” state. The problem is, while the entire card can be clicked to select it, the one part of the card that is the actual radio button that should be the interact

Hello, I’m the owner of a design file created with my education account [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]. Recently, when I try to open it, I get the error: “Hmm, we couldn’t find that one. This Design file may have been deleted, moved, or made unavailable.”This project is critical for my academic deadline, and I need urgent help recovering it. I haven’t deleted or moved the file myself, and I’m unsure why it’s now inaccessible.  Here are the links: Design file: https://www.figma.com/design/DMi98a8nOyZxNS8c7Tzukd/Project_Template?node-id=10794-938&t=FgnZGOi3jT4O8gwx-0 Prototype page: https://www.figma.com/proto/DMi98a8nOyZxNS8c7Tzukd/Project_Template?node-id=10653-300&t=FgnZGOi3jT4O8gwx-0&scaling=scale-down&content-scaling=fixed&page-id=1515%3A5&starting-point-node-id=10509%3A2 Could someone from the Figma team or community please advise how I can restore or access this file? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Salina Pudas

I don’t know why it’s not properly showing properly for me, but I had this issue for 9 months, can someone please fix this bug or something.

Hello figmaHow can I get my refund back because I am not using the figma anymore ? I just subscribed for one month by clicking monthly and it was just $5 and this month on 29 November 2025 it took $35. I am looking forward to get my issue solved thank you

When I go to Share > Update Community file > Publish update > Save, it will tell me that the file is successfully published. When I check the community resource page for the Slides file, the name, details, and slide previews are up to date. But when I click “Use template”, the slides are still the previous version of slides.  This is happening to me on Convex Dark Slides, which I am the author of. They are Brian's Figma Toolkit, which is on an education plan.

The recent change to the K (Scale) shortcut has really interrupted the workflow. Previously, pressing K once switched to Scale mode and automatically activated the scale input field, so we could type a percentage immediately. Now, pressing K does not activate the input. If you type a number, it changes opacity instead — which is easy to miss and causes accidental mistakes. To actually scale, you now have to press K a second time or manually click the field. On top of that, the scale field no longer clears itself after applying a value, so you can’t quickly apply consecutive scaling (e.g., 90% → then another 90% on the new size) without manually clearing the field. The previous behaviour was much smoother and faster. It would be great to have that back or at least have an option to restore it.

A small change I noticed recently. In the old UI when you hit 'K', the input field for the value was automatically highlighted and you could instantly follow with a number on your keyboard.(e.g. you would hit 'K', then '2', and the item is scaled by x2)In the new UI however you now have to hit 'K’ twice to get to the same result.('K’, again 'K', then '2')I don't see what's the motivation behind this small change? Do other users experience a similar issue?

When I move the screen around it glitches and my webpage keeps reloading. I think it also crashed at one point.

Hi everyone,I’m not a developer, so I may be missing some details about the API, but I’ve run into what looks like a bug while building a plugin and wanted to share the exact scenario.I’m creating a plugin that automates different design tasks in the background. Everything was working well until I noticed an issue that only appears when I use figma.on('selectionchange'). I stripped my plugin down to almost nothing, and the problem still occurs as long as that event listener is active. What’s happeningThe bug shows up only under a specific set of conditions: You have a component instance (this does not happen with main components or regular frames). Its width of the frame where the instance is positioned is driven by a variable, and you switch variable modes that change that width. The instance is set to absolute position with left + right constraints. After switching the variable mode, you interact with anything else on the canvas (for example, clicking another instance). The issu

I am trying to push my site to Github but it seems to indicate that there is a security issue. I have tried to recreated my repository and nothing seems to be working. The connector appears to say that it is properly connected but then the AI chatbot states that it cannot perform the upload. I have reviewed all permissions and it is not working. Also, I am using a personal GitHub as I have not setup an organizational account on Git but if that is required I can do that. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Components added from libraries in the sidebar are added above the frame and not contained within the relevant frame. This means that you need to navigate back to the layers panel to manually place the component within the frame every time.Open design file. Select frame Navigate to Assets Search for a component in a library Click on component. Insert instance. Observe that the component seems like it is in the frame. Navigate to File. Observe that the component was added above ALL layers.

Hello Figma Support,My cousin accidentally upgraded my account from the Free/Starter plan to the Team Professional plan ($35). This upgrade was not authorized by me — my card was still saved on the account.I kindly request that the subscription be cancelled and the $35 charge refunded.I would really appreciate your help with this.Thank you.

I've been billed for a full seat without my knowledge, this seems to be a recurring issue on this platform, since i've been billed in dollars i got charged with additional fees on my credit card, i need a refund.

Previously, there were no limits on removing the background, but now it says that the limit is until the next day. And how many credits are given per day?

I've been reporting this issue for the past five days, yet it remains unresolved. It's truly disappointing.

When i select HDR option in capture feature in macOS. The image gets scaled 2x when pasted into the design. I was completely surprised and tried every possible way to paste the image at the correct size that I saw on the web so I could compare them. After adjusting this setting, everything was resolved. If possible, I really wish that Figma would always paste images at a 1:1 ratio regardless of the format!

Recently noticed that components search (Shift + I) results are a bit random.Sometimes before giving me the correct result, it shows a few absolutely different components that just doesn’t have any relation to my requested component’s nameAdditional info if it can help:Device: iMac M1OS: Sonoma 14.1.1 Figma: Desktop App version 125.4.9Searching components across different files/kits (our components each have a different published file)

When multiple components are nested within a component, the content that is ignored in the nested components does not change in size along with the size of the original component's canvas.
