None of my other 2 team members can access it, nor is it in their trash or drafts. Since this file is locked and owned by me, it should not have disappeared. Could a Figma staff member please help escalate or check backend recovery? I really need to access it today. Thank you!

Hi Figma Community,I lost access to one of my files and I need help recovering it. I am the owner of the file. The file was locked before this issue happened. Now, when I open the link, I get a 404 Not Found error. The file does not appear in my Drafts, Deleted files, or Recent files. I did not delete the file. I’ve tried different browsers, devices, and cleared cache, but no luck. I’m facing an issue where I’ll have variables randomly reorder themselves, and it’s happened multiple times in the past few weeks. Making fixing this incredibly time consuming and causing countless issues within our development pipeline.Some of the culprits I have noticed:Completely removing a group Nesting a group in another group Nesting a group in a group with the same name (e.g. group 1 → group 1 → variable) Removing a group and putting variables in random groupsThese usually happen when I am trying to reorder or adding/making changes to other variables. Sometimes I don’t even notice until I am coming to publish, and suddenly I have 100’s of components to update. This is essentially making the Figma Variable Panel completely unusable for me. Has this been reported before? I surely can’t be the only one facing these types of breaking bugs. 

Hello Figma Community,I'm encountering some strange rendering issues that I can't replicate within the Figma file itself. I've double-checked my settings, but these problems only appear after exporting or rendering the frames.Issue 1: Unexpected White BorderI'm getting a thin, white border around some of my frames and components at the time of render. This border is not visible in the Figma canvas. It appears out of nowhere during the export process and is quite disruptive to the design.Issue 2: Clip Content Not WorkingI've also noticed that clip content is not working as expected. I have elements with a border radius, but during rendering, the content is not being clipped properly, resulting in sharp corners that should be rounded. This again is a rendering issue; the frames look correct in the Figma file.Has anyone experienced similar problems? I'd appreciate any guidance on how to troubleshoot this or if it's a known bug.Thanks for your help!  

Hi everyone,I accidentally revoked the Supabase connection in Organization Settings → Authorized Apps in Supabase. Figma then prompted me to fix the Supabase connection in Settings.In the Supabase integration settings, I saw a “Connection lost” state. I tried clicking Authorize and Delete, but neither worked.Now I’m stuck with a lonely frontend UI and no Supabase connection. Is there a way to completely clear/reset this broken Supabase integration and reconnect from scratch?Thanks!

When I try to use the multi-text editing feature in Buzz, there is an error when pasting copied text, the font size changes. But if I edit directly, without pasting, everything works fine.

Okay so this was driving me crazy for a few days. I found the solution, so i thought I’d post it here in case anyone ran into the same thing. ALSO I still think it’s a bug (FYI Figma).I wanted a video to play from a certain timestamp when the user landed on a certain screen, but it wouldn’t work. I thought first it was a bug, then I thought I had to put the triggger on a different object, etc.Turns out it only works if the ‘play video’ interaction comes BEFORE the ‘set time’ interaction. You can stack them together as “simultaneous”, but ‘play’ has to be first in the list. This was not intuitive for me at all, since I wouldn’t want the video to start playing before the playhead was moved to the correct time.But there you go. I’m glad I found out how to make it work, but I still don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work the other way around. IMO it’s a bug.

Hi, I’m facing the same issue. I’ve tried uploading multiple different .xlsx files for Bulk Create, but every time I get the error message “Failed to import file.” Steps I’ve already tried:Tested with one image only (to rule out file size). Downsized all images to ~500 KB at 2000px and 1000px width. Saved explicitly as Excel Workbook (.xlsx) (not CSV or older formats). Made sure my sheet has only one header column: main_image. Also tried placing images in cell instead of floating over cells. Despite all of this, I still get the same “Failed to import file” error, even on the simplest one-image test.Can you confirm if this is a known bug with Bulk Create right now, or if there’s an updated workaround? Thanks!

Hi!I want to report a really troubling issue:All changes I made yesterday in the morning are now missing. I was really confused when the file viewers contacted me stating I forgot a couple of todos. When I visited my file I saw that all the work I did yesterday is gone. I am the only person with editing rights in the file. I checked the history. There is only one entry for yesterday when I wrote the email claiming “I am done with all the changes”. But this version does not contain any of the changes I made to the file.How can this happen? How can I trust that this won’t happen again?I use Figma locally on my Mac and I did not have any internet issues.

This is a “normal” behavior of figma that makes no sense. It happens when a parent container that has scroll contains child items with shadow effects applied to them. Steps to reproduce:In design mode (img 1) I created an auto layout that is 24px in X coordinate. It stretches until the end of the device frame, has scroll set to horizontal and contains 3 squares with 36px blur shadows. Horizontal position and autolayout alignment is set to the left. In prototype mode (img 2), the start position is the same as the design mode. Unfortunately, if I scroll to the end and back again, the child containers are now 36px further from the left edge. Final consideration:Yes, I'm aware that I can apply the shadow to the parent container, but that's a workaround and not a fix - Its not everytime that I can do that, since this problem also happens when the whole frame is set to overflow.   Img 1 (design mode) Img 2 (prototype mode starting position) Img 3 (prototype mode scrolled back and forth) 

Up until recently, you were able to rename a layer then hit tab to rename the layer below it. This still works some times, but when you have a group of collapsed frames with child layers, hitting tab starts navigating around the window like keyboard-navigating around a website.Feels like a bug or some weird condition is making tab some times work and some times not… Edit: oh my god it depends on where your cursor is… please change this. Tab should move around the layers list while renaming until someone hits escape or enter to cancel or commit the current renaming. While the field is visible and active, tab should be reliable regardless of the cursor’s position. After more messing around, it still breaks out into navigation some times even with the cursor over the layers list. Sad.

Just like iphone autofill, I found the autofill very annoying. It auto fill the wrong text that I did not want. I got to delete and re typing a lot. It should have a clearer way of signify Figma to fill in or not fill in, take devs' text suggestion for examples. And please provide me a way to turn it off.

Defining a font style including a definition of the font-color is one of the absolut basic design-tasks in webdesign. Please could you explain, why it is not longer possible to add a font color to a font-style. Sorry, but I don´t get it. What is the reason behind this change?

Hello, Yeah, I know it’s good to paste text as non styled text, etc. and I’ve seen the solutions for that. BUT there’s a Figma inconsistency here. I paste a text from external sources even or something - it takes over the styling of the place I put the text into but not 100%, it creates a strange mixture.But my main problem is when I work on theoretically monolitic project:I copy a colored, bold character from one place within the same file into a text area where there’s a non-bold, black text - the pasted element gets the pasted area’s styling! So is it copying or not copying styling? What’s the default here?I thought copying was the default and people wanted to copy clean-styled! INCONSISTENCIES all the time… OMGGGG

here is the border color in design mode, which is the blue main color and the gray color is effectively covered by the top blue main color (it is correct).however, when switching to the dev mode, the style CSS is not correct displayed. The border color should be the blue main color actually, and it confused the dev people to get the correct CSS code as well.      please check and fix it.
