Hello,

I’m experiencing a critical account-level issue.

I am the owner of all files.
Immediately after deleting ONE different draft file, ALL of my personal Draft files disappeared at once.

Important details:
– The files were personal Drafts
– They were never part of any team or project
– They are not in Trash
– They are not in Recents
– They are not searchable
– The disappearance happened instantly
– This occurred today, just minutes before contacting support

I was advised by Figma chat support to post here, as this appears to be an account-level Drafts visibility or deletion bug.

I would really appreciate if this could be investigated using account logs or backups to determine whether the Draft files can be restored.

Thank you

Account email: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]
Approx. number of files: ~15–20
Time of issue: Jan 10, 2026, approx. 06:10 UTC+3

Hi @днадн адн — welcome to Figma Forum, and I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble locating your files. Thank you for taking the time to clearly outline everything you’ve already tried. It sounds like you’ve been very thorough. 🙏🏻

For next steps, there are two things I’d recommend reviewing:

  1. Recent updates to Drafts
There were some changes last year that may help explain what you’re seeing. This article walks through the timeline and behavior updates in detail: Updates to how drafts work.
  2. Similar report with a helpful walkthrough
Another designer ran into a similar situation, and a teammate shared a step-by-step walkthrough that’s helped others locate missing files: Can no longer see files in my draft folder that were created when I was in a different workspace.

If those don’t surface the files, I’ve gone ahead and opened a ticket on your behalf with our Product Support team so they can take a deeper, account-level look.

To protect your privacy, I’ve removed personal information from your original post. We aren’t able to access or share account-specific details publicly for security reasons. Please keep an eye on the email inbox associated with your Figma account for your case number: 1680731, and next steps.

Feel free to reply here if you’re able to locate the files in the meantime — we’ll stick with you for this search.
