Hello, I am relatively new to Figma. I had my professor look at my settings and he is confused why my animations were not functioning. Our assignment required the Smart Animation setting called Bouncy. It was working fine for my classmates, they had the exact same settings as me. But it would just skip the animation for me. It will not function on default Smart Animation + Bouncy either. I had a strobe effect issue with some other animations that day, but I can make a separate post for that. I did this classwork on Fire Fox, Windows 10, Asus laptop.I was working on my homework and have been on my Fire Fox, Windows 10, Custom desktop PC. Same problem with bouncy. So I tried the desktop app and Microsoft Edge to see if the Figma app was just acting up with the latest Fire Fox update. Nope. Still struggling with the exact same problem. Hi Team,I've been working on a design using Figma and encountered an issue with code generation.The design process is working well overall, and the code generation (React + Typescript) was functioning correctly up to a certain version. However, I'm now experiencing a problem where:- The preview updates correctly according to my prompts- The generated code does not reflect these preview updates- There appears to be a disconnect between the latest preview and the corresponding code outputCould you please help investigate this issue? The code generation seems to be stuck on an earlier version despite the preview showing the current changes.Things I tried out - Refreshed the figma link in Chrome also tried accessing the code through windows desktop App but no Luck.Thanks for your assistance.

I have a line in an auto layout in Figma. The auto layout settings are all correct, however, the line displays (looks) like it's in the wrong spot visually, if that makes sense. The first screenshot (line in the middle of the text) is what it looks like when the issue is occurring. I go in, and all I do is move the line's position to a different spot in the layer stack, then I move it back to where it was before, and then it looks like how it's supposed to (second screenshot, line right above the buttons).Based on my research it seems that this is a known issue with Auto Layout (though I couldn’t find an official support ticket or anything I could reference for ways to fix the issue). I already cleared the cache in the Figma app and this keeps happening. It’s also frustrating because I’ll navigate to a different page in my Figma file and come back (after it was displaying in the correct place) and the divider line will be in the wrong spot again.Any tips or suggestions for fixing this

I am trying to use the plugin between UX pilot and figma but when I try to add my desktop screens , it doesn’t work and just turns into a grey bar. The screens from UX Pilot, they’re “saved for figma” but it is not working. Any help? 

Hi, I am a teacher in higher ed and I need a Figma pro subscription to teach my students more about the program. I’ve (successfully) applied for the educator program and used the Pro features for a few days, after which I got a message to re-verify my account. When I try to do this I get a message saying that my limit was exceeded. I haven’t re-verified once, and I’ve already contacted SheerID who told me they cannot do anything and I need to contact Figma directly.Since I cannot find any matching info or ticket adresses I am posting my question here.I would be grateful for any help so that I can start using Figma for education again.Cheers 

Hi Team, Figma Desktop crashes frequently. It is happening after the recent update. Below Error message is coming whenever it is crashed, even for small figma file it is crashing.   

I received a message from someone trying to link me to a “course” via a whatsapp number. There is no option to block or report this person or to delete the message.

I’m signed in under my personal email in standard account. I have tabs currently open on my desktop that I can’t access. Some are drafts some are saved. I used to be associated with a previous company (Accolade) but my personal email would have not been used for that figma account. Some of the drafts that I’ve recently started are also not displaying in ‘recent files’. Please advise.

I’m receiving an error of “user does not have editing permissions to modify file edit requests” even though the email from figma to approve the request is coming to my inbox, and I am in fact both the creator and the owner of said file. There are several files I need to edit and they are seemingly stuck in a limbo state and in an endless loop. Also: Please bring back email addresses displayed along with the user names so we can clearly, and efficiently identify overlaps or gaps in users who have multiple emails but identical display user on names.

Hi Figma Team,After the recent update introducing the "Draw" section, I was excited to explore the new brushes. I used the "Hardboiled" brush to create a scribbled, comical-style character for a client project. While the brush gave me the visual effect I was aiming for, I quickly ran into major performance issues.The design file became increasingly laggy, eventually consuming over 60% of system memory. I couldn’t move the character across screens, save my work reliably, or even build more than a few poses without the entire file slowing down dramatically. For a brush tool focused on loose sketching, I was surprised to see it demand such heavy resources for what is essentially vector scribbling.Would love to see optimizations for brush-based drawings in future updates — especially to support comic or sketch-based workflows.Thanks for your time and great work otherwise.

When I’m working in figma slides or other, the bibliography quote doesn’t paste successfully.  When I copy a bibliography quote (in my case from Zotero) with Italics and Regular texts, figma doesn’t apply the text format (or without) in the design/board.I would like that issue will be fixed in further updates.
