Hi Figma Community,I attempted to re-verify my Figma student account, but the system is now showing “Verification limit exceeded.”I reached out to SheerID via email, but their response was:“We were unable to process your verification request. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”Could you please suggest a solution for this issue? I won’t be able to re-verify my student plan otherwise, and this needs to be resolved before 29 September. Since SheerID has not provided any assistance, I would greatly appreciate your urgent support in resolving this matter. Thanks!

I use COPY on one element, but as soon as I click on another, it copies the new element I clicked, losing the old one that was COPYed. This bug is driving me crazy, please help.

Hi, after I had been struggle to verify my academic status, contacted SheerID and waiting for response, I was noticed by my university to change my account Email address to my school gmail account. The problem is that since I had already processed my procedure to reverify my status by Sheer ID, I was blocked by Figma system. Considering the fact that now I have my account set with my School Email, I ask you to reset my verification record so that I can start the procedure again. Please don’t tell me to contact Sheer ID again because I already have. 

What’s going on with Figma? I’m trying to upgrade from the free plan to the Professional plan, but the process gets stuck on the “Choose Seat Types” step. As soon as I click “Next: Payment Information,” the button gets disabled and nothing happens. How is this even acceptable functionality?

Hi!I am developer and happy user of figma and figma API. I am using in particularhttps://api.figma.com/v1/files/JFl6cOTJN9uoy3UXyPGDAo/variables/localAfter fetching tokens i see few stuff which cause problems / questions.1. The endpoint return collections available in figma and their strange duplicated copies which contain empty variables. I checked with designers and we are unsure how to eliminate them. So far i filter them in code.2.  One collection is getting ‘Mode 1’ and i am not sure how to change / eliminate that. This is basically a variable used for versioning.3. The collections and also variables inside are always in random order, is there a way to apply sort to endpoint so that the endpoint return always the same resultI would appreciate help on above topics. :)All the best, Tomek

Hello Figma team,I’m experiencing an access issue. In order to edit a file, the platform requires me to confirm whether I’m a student or an educator. However, the only option it gives me is to pay for a subscription.This project was originally linked to an educational program, but it was never actually developed under that condition. Hi communityI’m looking for a response regarding re-verifying my Education Plan. I submitted the form (case number: 1529682) and also reached out to the Help Center, but I haven’t received a response yet.Just to give a bit of context: I’m enrolled in a bootcamp, and the official organization has already submitted all members’ emails for re-verification. However, my Figma account still shows that I need to re-verify, and I’m not sure what steps to take next.Has anyone experienced something similar, or could point me in the right direction? Thank you so much!

Building a web game, trying to add graphics e.g. “space-background.jpg”. When I upload the JPG to Figma Make, it resaves it as a file just containing this code:figma:asset/53d0d0f172d5f8e4c99f47eb4ebdbfd60ab79429.png This then fails to load in the app test pages.

I want to convert a team’s education plan to free plan (since most of my team members don’t have the educational plan).I’ve tried contacting Figma support during this past week, but still haven’t received a reply.

Hi,I recently filled out the form about my high school not being in the Figma list of high schools, and I do get an email telling me my school got verified. But when I tried to verify the education status again, the system still shows “ You must apply with your school email to continue.”My account is using my school email, and I tried logging out and back in but still no success.

Since I changed my email alias, I can no longer receive verification emails. My Hotmail alias has already been changed to Outlook, and I’m unable to switch it back to Hotmail, so I can’t receive the verification email. Is there anyone who can help me recover my account? Hi. I have recently been building a website in Figma Sites and come across a little issue. I created some custom Figma Make interactions, that animate text on scrolling the page which work perfectly when previewing within Figma, but when viewing the published site in Safari and Google Chrome, those interactions do not work. Is there a reason for this, or am I doing something wrong. Please help!Thanks

On the Safari Version 26.0 (21622.1.22.11.14) I can not assigned any seat types for different users.Workaround is using an other browser.

Hi,Please, I would like to report an issue with Figma and Figjam. I didn’t found anyone else taking about this specifically.WhatWhen pasting a frame with component instances from Figma to Figjam, some components get reset to the default state. DetailsThe frame contains component instances and nested components inside, with it’s instances changed. For example, an app UI with the entire header or top navigation as a component, and the buttons inside it are nested components with icons. The icons are reset to default.When I modify the instanced icon to anything else, copy, then paste to Figjam, the icon is retained, I can even change back to the previous icon, and it will paste correctly in Figjam. Apparently, I have to force a change in the instance, and it will be retained. The problem is that there are far too many frames and instances for me to “shake it” and make it work. Without knowing the issue, I don’t know exactly if I can prevent it from happening again. This has been forcing u

I started having a problem with my Figma. When you select the crop tool ou click multiple times on a photo, the edit menu opens up.The “edit menu” im talking about, is the one that you can change de shadows, tint, temperature and stuff like that. It is where you choose to change the color, gradiant, photo…I dont know why, but this panel isn’t opening for me the right way.
