Report a Problem

This is UX 101 - don't obscure critical information or text by drawing other artifacts on top. Your layer actions are a prime example. The visibility and lock icons are drawn on top of your layer name when most of the row is empty. Can you not draw these icons where there is room?  

We’ve been experiencing significant performance issues with Figma over the past 2–3 weeks, and it’s starting to impact our ability to work efficiently. The problems we’re noticing include:  Very slow performance across the app (both web and desktop) Delays when accessing files Lag when using libraries Major issues when working with components that contain nested instances  Everything was working fine during Q3, but this slowdown started recently and has been consistent since. We’ve tried different networks and setups (including with and without VPN), but the issue persists. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems lately? Any insights or updates from the Figma team would be greatly appreciated.

Autolayout panel is missing!

Hi, I was asked to re-verify my student status in, I think September ore October, which I did. After that Figma still told me I had to re-verify so I tried verifying again only to be told I exceeded my verification limit, so I contacted SheerID, who said I was verified already. By now I am looked out of my team and am to be locked out of the teams for my classes the problem is not limited to my classes my whole account is markt as unverified. Is there any way to reset my verification limit? kind regards Sofia 

When copying SF symbols into Figma, certain icons appear invisible while others work fine. For example, pencil.and.list.clipboard won’t display while pencil circle does.I am using SF Symbols 7 and the font family is set to SF Pro in both instances. The fill properties are the same as well.Has anyone encountered this issue?

A colleague of mine is trying to use the “Rewrite this...” function within Figma, I have action to it no problem but it’s not showing for her. Even when she searches for it. It’s this item at the top of the recents section.  

Hi there, We’re trying out the new Figma Make ‘copy design’ feature, to move a Figma Make output to a Figma Design file, but while the copying step looks fine, when pasting into the design file, the output is all just text output (as below)?The only weird thing I noticed was that in the launch videos for this feature, it shows Figma Make displaying a message: ‘Copying as design layers’  ...but i’m not seeing that - it’s just shows ‘Copied design to clipboard’ - maybe this is a bug? A colleague suggest it works on Safari, but not working for me on Edge, maybe is a browser thing?

I have been using a full seat on a monthly plan, but today I accidentally added 1 full seat. while trying to find the menu to cancel my monthly subscription. The invoice has already been updated to include this change, and I wanted to cancel the extra full seat right away, but I cannot find any option to do so. This just happened today so I need it sorted today so there is no claim that it has been used. I have removed the collaborator to a view seat

I recently tried turning a Figma Make project into a PWA. After several prompts back and forth, Figma Make revealed that it didn’t fully support that functionality. Are there plans to support it later on?

I have been wanting to update my website recently. So I made additional pages in Figma and was going to import them with the plugin, Figma to HTML with Framer. But after days of multiple attempts and workarounds it is still not working. I can’t even update my website through Framer! The pages I made in Figma do not paste into Framer correctly. Additionally when I tried to create the new pages in Framer, that also did not work.Is there a new plugin or a trick I don’t know? Asking for a friend. 

Hi, I am the owner of an Education verified team. I recently graduated but I forgot to transfer ownership of our Figma team to the new leadership before I graduated. The team has now just been locked because we didn’t reverify our education plan. But there’s no way for me to fix this:I can’t re-verify myself because I’ve graduated I can’t transfer ownership to the new leadership who are able to verify because every time I try to transfer ownership I get a pop up saying that I can’t take any action on my locked teamI would rather they not have to make a new team and transfer everything. Can I please get help with transferring ownership for my locked team?

All my shared prototypes show a black screen today even though they were working just fine earlier.They are embedded into Confluence pages to share with my team.I see that this issue isn’t new. Is there a workaround?Thanks!

Hola, a alguien le ha ocurrido lo mismo de que en todo su proyecto de un día para otro le sale en su prototipo un recuadro negro y no le deja ver toda la vista?Ya cheque que estén bien estas opciones y me sigue saliendo igual y es en todas las vistas. ¿Me pueden ayudar a como solucionarlo?  

I have a full seat Professional account I’m using for a side hustle. It’s a proper thing with a limited company, etc.Even thought the account is a few months old I just started doing work properly. I logged in for the first time since a few months ago.I have not shared any files, links, etc. yet and I’m the only user. No other designers etc.i thought I give Figma Make a try to see if it helps with getting the product to market any quicker and behold a couple of hours into the session someone appears.  It didn’t show any name on hover the tooltip was empty. I wasn’t running the app in several windows. So is it just accepted, that what I’m guessing is, Figma staff peeking into our documents? Potentially checking out our IP? Or what’s happening here? The little dude lingered for at least 20-30 min and disappeared.  Any advice? Should I be moving to penpot when the annual renewal comes around?

Im trying to verify that I’m a student and it keeps failing.  I need Figma for my collage class. I contacted Sheer id but they closed the ticket. Please help.  

I have been seeing this double windows of same thing one is interactive and other i cant click or get rid of it. it is same thing of figma but not interactive. 

Hi Figma Team,I’m encountering an issue after a recent update where “Copy as PNG” (Cmd-Shift-C) no longer works for images, frames, or groups up to 4096 x 4096 px—which was previously the maximum import size without resizing.Before the update, I could copy a selection as a PNG, paste it into Photoshop for edits, and then (ensuring it stayed within the 4096 x 4096 px limit) paste it back into Figma – either replacing the original or as a new variant in an image component.Now, attempting this results in the attached alert. Was this an intentional change, or is this a bug?Would appreciate any insights—thanks in advance for looking into it!Best,Steve

Hi I am unable to re-verify my Figma education plan. I am an educator working for Austin Community College. I contacted SheerID and this was the response.“Hi, Thank you for contacting SheerID. We were unable to process your verification request. While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently closed. “  I have also tried contacting education@figma.com but haven’t received a response. I am unsure what to do next to reset my verification or how to provide additional documentation. I am currently using my school assigned email.

Hello, I am trying to publish my website, but I have a problem with a video embed from youtube. Figma says there are no errors but still publishing is not possible. I realized, that I have a problem with an embed alt text. If I give it a title, figma doesn’t accept the format, because every time I select the iframe again it has no title (it continues removing the title). I think the format isn’t accepted. How do I have to write the title of the iframe?

Use case: I have two objects, I want to align the second centered vertically to the first.Previously, I selected both objects, pressed the “align vertical centers” button and only the second object was moved.
