"Verification Limit Exceeded" for Figma Student Plan

Sayan

I have been trying to re-verify my education status with my college credential. I had first contacted SheerId, they kept talking about school issued email id which is irrelevant to my case and asked me to contact official Figma support to verify my “Higher Ed” profile. So did I. Figma then replied to ask SheerId about the authentication process. I need help in this matter, please.

This conversation happened between the end of October and the start of November 2025.

Hi Sayan - appreciate you checking in, and I’m sorry if this has been a lingering process for you.

I do see that you reached out to our education team, and received a response on November 25 from Maya.

Just to make sure I try to resolve this with the most accurate information: are you currently a student at a university, or are you currently in high school? The process will be different depending on what type of student you currently are.

Thank you! I’ll wait patiently for your response.

I had asked for help here before, and someone tried to help me, but for some reason she hasn’t been active for more than a week. So, I’m reposting my issue to get some help to fix this problem. Thank you.

Hey @Sayan — thanks for reaching out again, and I’m really sorry to hear this is still unresolved.

I’ve gone ahead and merged your post with the original thread so we can keep everything in one place and track this properly. I’m taking a closer look into what’s happening on our side and will follow up here as soon as I have more information to share.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Hi @Sayan — checking in as I’ve been keeping watch for updates.

I touched base with the Education team, and it sounds like you’re cleared to reinitiate the verification process with SheerID. If you haven’t done so already, please go ahead and start the process again. If any new questions come up, you can reach them through their secure support form here: Contact SheerID support team.

If you run into any further issues or get stuck along the way, don’t hesitate to reply here and we can escalate for a deeper review.
