Question

"Verification Limit Exceeded" for Figma Student Plan

Sayan

I have been trying to re-verify my education status with my college credential. I had first contacted SheerId, they kept talking about school issued email id which is irrelevant to my case and asked me to contact official Figma support to verify my “Higher Ed” profile. So did I. Figma then replied to ask SheerId about the authentication process. I need help in this matter, please.

This conversation happened between the end of October and the start of November 2025.

Hi Sayan - appreciate you checking in, and I’m sorry if this has been a lingering process for you.

I do see that you reached out to our education team, and received a response on November 25 from Maya.

Just to make sure I try to resolve this with the most accurate information: are you currently a student at a university, or are you currently in high school? The process will be different depending on what type of student you currently are.

Thank you! I’ll wait patiently for your response.

Thank you for looking into my issue and to clarify, I am currently a university student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

Hey @Sayan - I just heard back from our education team.

Can you please try reapplying to see if you’re now able to get through the process? If you still have trouble, please PM me.
