Request for Manual Student Verification for Education Plan

I am a student at Govt. Model Science College, Rewa. My institution does not provide official student email IDs. I have already sent multiple emails to the administration and even visited the college office, but they have declined to issue one.

Since I cannot verify my account through the standard email process, I kindly request an alternative option to upload my student proof. I have a valid student ID card and official allotment/admission paper that confirm my enrollment. Please allow me to complete manual verification so that I can activate the Figma Education Plan and continue my academic projects.

Unfortunately, Figma isn’t able to manually review documents or confirm eligibility. Since the verification process for higher education students is fully managed by our partner, SheerID. The best next step would be to reach out to their support team directly and explain them the situation.

In your case, the best next step is to submit your documentation (such as your student ID card or admission/allotment letter) directly through SheerID during the verification flow. Please make sure you apply directly at figma.com/education/apply with your school-issued email address, select ‘Higher ed’ for institution type and complete the SheerID verification process. You can also find more details in our Help Center article: Figma For Education.

They’re best equipped to review proof of enrollment and advise on next steps.

Hello Sheer ID Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently trying to complete my student verification for the Figma Education plan. Unfortunately, my institution does not provide any school-issued or institutional email address (such as a Gmail or .edu email) to students.

However, I do have all the required official documents to prove my enrollment, including:

  • A valid student ID card

  • Official admission/allotment letter issued by my college

I am fully willing to upload these documents for verification. At the moment, I am unable to move forward in the verification process due to the school email requirement, and I have not received support despite having valid proof of enrollment.

I kindly request your guidance on how I can proceed with verification using my documents, given that a school-issued email is not available in my case.

Hi Sawan! Unfortunately, a school-issued email address is required to verify your account.

As mentioned, account verification for the Education plan is handled by our verification partner, SheerID. While Figma isn’t able to manually verify enrollment on our side, SheerID is best equipped to review your documents and help you complete the process.

Dear Figma Support Team,

I have contacted SheerID regarding my student verification, but I have not received any support or response from them. I have not received any email communication so far. That is why I am explaining my situation here.

Kindly guide me on how I should proceed.

I can see that you’ve contacted our Support team, and they’ve looped in the Figma Education team on your case so they can follow up with you directly. I’ve also added a follow-up note on my end.
