Hello Figma Support Team,I recently subscribed to the Figma Collab plan for $5. After completing the subscription, I attempted to begin my design work, but I noticed that I can only view and comment on the file. There is a “Start editing” call-to-action displayed.When I click on “Start editing,” I receive another prompt indicating that I am about to get a full seat. From my understanding, this suggests an upgrade to a higher (full) subscription plan, which I do not intend to purchase. I would like to remain on my current Collab subscription while still being able to work appropriately within its limits.Could you please clarify:• What level of editing access is included in the Collab plan?• Why I am being prompted to upgrade when attempting to edit?• How I can continue using my Collab subscription without being moved to a higher plan?I would appreciate your guidance so I can proceed with my design work correctly.Thank you for your support.Kind regards, Isah Salihu

I’m on the Starter plan and permanently deleted a Figma file from Trash about a week ago by mistake. It was in my team project, which has the same name as my email address. I’ve checked that team’s Trash, other teams’ Trash, projects, and Drafts, and I cannot find it anywhere. I do not remember the file name. Can anyone confirm whether permanently deleted files can ever be recovered in this situation, or if there is anything else I can check?
I’m experiencing a visual inconsistency in a design file. Components using a specific drop shadow style are rendering incorrectly compared to how they used to look. However, when I detach the style, the drop shadow immediately looks as it’s supposed to, perfectly matching the library file where it is published from.Both the component and the style are fully published and up to date. I’ve attached a video showing the issue. In the recording, you can see that if I copy and paste these two components (one with the style attached and one with the style detached) back into the library file, they both render correctly and look exactly the same.
I want to request a refund on my Figma subscription, I had no intention to renew my subscription and I’ve charged my card on accident, I don’t have any work to be done by Figma at the moment, if you can please refund me the subscription amount, the subscription was done on date June 18, 2026 and the invoice number is CPJ3WDGL-0007

SituationMy dev team is working with Claude. I’m told they need a clean design system file with the relevant component definitions and nothing else. My working design system file is full of random experiments, and all my prototypes use that set of components. (I manage my own versioning of said components when there needs to be major overhaul). Anyway, I’m told that the clean file needs to be published for Claude to digest.IssueWhen dev publishes the clean design system file, all my existing prototype instances suddenly point to the new kid on the block!QuestionsIs this expected? Is it preventable?
Hey folks! I’ve constantly run into this problem which makes the Figma MCP completely unusable. Tried re-authenticating, reconnecting, and nothing worked. Clicked “Copy example prompt” on the web and pasted it in Claude Code. But both get_design_context and get_screenshot consistently return "The node ID provided was invalid" for nodes that exist in the file.Re-authenticating the MCP server does not help. I have a file that I am unable to access, I am admin for my team and the user who created also is unable to access the file. I get this error(screenshot redacted by the moderator due to PII)
The new mechanism for removing users from a team requires admins to enter the user’s EXACT username before removal. This creates a lot of unnecessary friction for organizations with hundreds of users in FigmaThe “username” that admins must type is actually the display name that users can freely change in their settings. This name cannot be copied, so admins have to type it manually into the confirmation field. Users can create complicated names such as “Phương nhi 🧚hhl” which makes the removal process unnecessarily difficult for admins. Since users can change their display names at any time, someone could initially use a simple name like “Nhi” and later switch to a more complicated one, making urgent removal harder for admins — especially in organizations managing 200+ files and hundreds of users.I understand that this mechanism is intended to prevent accidental actions by admins, but the current implementation feels excessive and creates usability issues at scale.A simpler and more p
In the MacOS desktop app, it doesn’t respect the “Use scroll wheel zoom” option when the app opens. It will still be checked if I selected it before but not working. If I toggle it off and on it works until the app closes.

Hi, team, I’m trying to access my Figma account. The log-in email is removed , somehow the verification code is NOT getting through. I have a free user as removed. Maybe i can somehow switch? I dont wanna lose my projects and i need it today! I cannot verify the account and log in to my Figma. Could you help me get access to this account, or can I update my email address from your end? I started using Figjam because it is an approved system from the company. I painfully moved my work screenshot each image into the Figjam. And now all the images shows up BLANK. WTH. Is there a solution to fix this? Or is this a lost cause? If it is the latter I am NOT touching figma ever again. Wasted so much of my time and effort.

Hello Figma Support!Could you please help me?We accidentally purchased a seat for the wrong team—an annual subscription. We need to fix this and move the seat to the correct team. This happened today, just a couple of hours ago. We don't need to cancel anything; we just need to get it set up correctly—removing the seat from one team and adding it to another.I contacted support via the form and have a ticket number: 1967696. However, I haven't received an email confirmation, and nothing shows up in my list of requests—even though the bot claims otherwise.
