Hi all, Question 1:I’m recently working on a project using Figma Make AI which helps me a lot. I was wondering if I can somehow transfer the project that generated by Figma Make to Figma Design, so I can keep polishing the project even after I used all AI Credits for Figma Make. Question 2: I was watching Youtube tutorial on creating app on Figma Design using First Draft but unfortunately I do not have that option from my end. How can I apply for that function? Thanks!

I’m logging with same e-mail address. I have different pp on https://help.figma.com/ and have different one on https://forum.figma.com/ . When I try to change on help.figma.com it says “The name, profile photo, phone, and email are set automatically. You can't change them here.” I’m not logging with google etc

Hi there. To create my prototype, I am cutting and pasting a lot of images into my Frames. Currently on one of my Parent Frames, I created a child Frame to import an image. I was finally able to get all the content in however, there is a big gap to the left - please see attached. I would like all content to be preserved and just expand the width. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do? I will be doing a lot of cutting and pasting into frames. So If someone has a clean step by step process of how I can easily insert an image, keep all contents and expand it to the parents length that would be amazing. I am all ears. I spent a full day trying to solve this problem, which is probably a simple fix :) Many Thanks, Susanne 

What is the most frustrating or repetitive task you encounter in Figma that you wish could be automated with a plugin, but you haven't found a good solution for yet?

i designed a web page without auto layout because i need to apply parallax effects. when i hand off the project to developer. everything works well except the responsiveness. sometimes it shows every objects in a right place in some screens, but in some different screens the objects and layout deformed and do not behave well. i also apply right constraints to each objects and frames but it doesn’t work. anyone can help me with that? here's a stage link: https://stage.creatorsclass.co/fa/about

Issue:Components created with responsive variables in a shared library do not adapt when used in a separate design file.Steps to reproduce: Create components in the library using responsive variables. Insert those components into a separate design file. Switch the containing frame between mobile and desktop sizes. Hello! We have been having memory trouble with our Library file and have been working on making it more usable.In the process of doing this I did a test where I duplicated my library, and then proceeded to erase everything from it, every page, every style, every variable, every linked library.At the end the only thing left was 1 empty new page that I had created. After a refresh, the file was still showing 26% of memory usage and over 75k layers. I’m really unsure of what to make of that, over a half of the memory usage of my file is coming from… Nothing? Is this a known bug?

 I’m seeing “An error occurred while copying this file” when I attempt to duplicate a version from the history of a merged branch - see attached. Is this not doable? 

Hello, I encounter a problem with a certain file.Some random square/rectangles/shadows appear on it but only for me (the other user on the file don’t see it), even when I’m connected on the owner acc.Also, the shadows change places when i zoom/dezoom I can’t find a solution or understand where its from  

I have a similar problem, a specific page doesn't open (all the others are working), Figma shows the same error. I just tried to apply textures to the text, and then everything stopped working.

I’m trying to build a prototype where a number will change based on some randomization. The idea is I have my Total number variable, and my Modifier number variable which are added together to update the Total. I’d love for the Modifier number variable to pull randomly from a list. It seems the best way to do this is to use a randomizer plugin that updates a text field from a list, but then I can’t figure out how to get the Modifier variable in my variable settings to use that number. Also open to totally different ways to solve / try this if it gets to the same result of having a base value that can be randomized within certain parameters. Thanks so much!

My device is Mac mini m2. 8 GB, 256 GB. When I use Figma, &zoom in, zoom out, or do something, my screen goes back. RAM is 2 GB, and storage is 80 GB empty. What is the problem?

Hi all, I am creating a symbol language with vector graphics of various irregular shapes, set into diamond-shaped frames.   Question 1: What is the best way to regularize the sizing of these graphics? As you can see, I can’t really set a regular height or width, as the shapes take all different forms, and some are wider while others are taller. What you see above is eyeballed, but as I’m aiming to get these printed (like a deck) I really want to do best practices here and figure out a more accurate method. Question 2: Once that question is answered, the question of spacing comes up. I'm pretty new to Figma and this is my first time creating a prototype. I have my nav bar fixed to the bottom and I'm having issues creating scroll-to interactions for my menu when it's expanded. I have a components frame where I added variants for my bottom nav: default and its expanded state. I dragged the bottom nav component to my home page frame and was able to add some navigate-to interactions without issue. But when I try adding a scroll-to interaction (so when the user clicks Contact, it scrolls down to that section of the page), nothing happens. I suspect it's likely due to the nav bar being fixed, but I really don't know any way around this. My nav bar needs to be fixed, so I'm hoping someone might have some suggestions?

I tried centering the transform origin and applying a new frame, but the same issue persists ;(The strange thing is that the small button moves to the left even though the coordinates are the same.Even though the constraints are set to the center.My AI says this issue occurs because Figma aligns elements to the top left.How can I fix this?

Hello everyone,I'm developing a FigJam plugin and have encountered an issue when trying to access the children of a SectionNode. The behavior seems to depend on the section's lock state, and I'd like to understand if there's a way to get the children even when the section is locked.I've tested the following scenarios using the code snippet below:1. Section not locked: I can successfully get the children.2. Lock background only: I cannot get the children. The node.children property returns an empty array.3. Children placed on the section and then the section is locked (Lock all): I can successfully get the children.4. Section locked  (Lock all) and then children are placed on it: I cannot get the children.I'm specifically looking for a way to get the children in scenarios 2 and 4. Is there a specific API or method to achieve this? Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Hi - is there a way to have a dropdown accordion in Figma sites without having to build it custom or have to use Make? It seems like this would be a simple layout to offer.

I have designed a website in Figma Sites. But after publishing I found that some images are not displayed, only black squares. The problem is only on mobile browsers (Chrome and Safari). In addition, if I minimize and maximize the browser a couple of times, the image will appear, but only the one that was in the visibility zone.There is a feeling that this is a bug, some kind of optimization that should have displayed the image only when viewing.Help me find a solution!Website — joycast.ai.
