Regarding the Plugin

Hi! I’m reaching out regarding the plugin. This is my first time using it, so I’m still figuring out how everything works and what the different features do.

I noticed that using the plugin requires providing an email address. I initially entered one address, but later decided to change it for privacy and security reasons.

I just want to clarify that this change was not an attempt to bypass any rules or restrictions. I made it solely for personal privacy reasons.

I already sent a message by email, but I haven’t received any confirmation that my request was received or is waiting to be reviewed. That’s why I decided to also post here.

Please take a look at my situation when you have a chance. If you need any additional information from me, just let me know and I’ll provide it.

I’d really appreciate your help and look forward to your reply.

Hey @Yoyphe Joriosti, really sorry for the delayed response!

I followed up with the team internally, and here's where things landed: this was tied to the account verification step I flagged earlier. Since your email was changed and then changed back, our review team needed to confirm account ownership before your plugin could move forward. On top of that, one of our email updates to you didn't land, which added to the delay. Both are sorted now.

I can see that your account's been verified, and I can confirm your plugin has been approved and published.

If you're curious about what happens next (pushing updates, managing your listing, etc.), this walks through it: Publish plugins to the Figma Community.

There are real people behind these reviews, not just bots. I am really sorry for the inconvenience, if anything else comes up with the plugin, please reach out again!

Hey @Yoyphe Joriosti, tanks for reaching out, and for providing this context. I checked internally and can confirm your ticket has been found. I've added a follow up note internally to the Content Moderation team to increase visibility.

For visibility here: it looks like this is related to a recent change to your account's details. As a precaution to protect resources and the community, our Content Moderation team will need to quickly verify ownership of the account before proceeding.

There's no need to submit another request in the meantime. Please keep an eye on your inbox, and the team will follow up with you directly through your existing case as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!

How much longer am I supposed to wait? Another month?

Hey @Yoyphe Joriosti, thanks for flagging this!

I can see a reply was sent your way last Friday (ticket #2084249), but it looks like that email didn't actually land, it bounced on our end. I'm really sorry about that, especially after you'd already been waiting a while for an update.

I've asked our team to resend that email now, to the same address linked to your forum account.

I'll keep an eye on this thread myself. If anything's still not coming through, just let me know here and we'll sort out the next step together.

What the hell is this? What does ‘rejected’ even mean? What’s the actual reason?

Jesus, I literally just changed my email, then changed my mind and switched it back. What kind of insane security system do you guys have?

I’m trying to publish my plugin, and since this is my first time doing it, obviously I’m going to make some mistakes. That should be treated with at least some understanding. But instead, it just gets rejected with barely any explanation.

Are there actual people reviewing this stuff, or is it all just AI bots?

Yes, thank you very much for your help. I also want to apologize for my lack of experience and for not fully understanding how everything works. Everything turned out well in the end. Thank you so much!

No need to apologize, first-time plugin publishing comes with a learning curve for everyone, and you handled it exactly right by asking questions along the way.

Thanks for your patience through all of this!
