When creating a connected shape from a shape, the second shape does not appear. It seems that the action cannot be performed, in the video I tried many clicks with only one success.

Hello, We have encountered an issue with a paid plugin in our team workspace.One of our team members cannot see or access a plugin that was purchased for the entire team.We have already tried: Logging out and logging back in. Restarting the Figma app / clearing browser cache. Reinstalling the plugin. Could you please help us resolve this?Thank you!

I leave my Figma files and Figjam boards open over night. Every morning when I come in, it won’t let me write on the Figjam boards until I clear the cache in my browser. Not just the figma cache, but everything! Then I have to log back in again to access my files and continue to edit.  Why is this?

Color override is no longer possible on icon instances at all.I am managing a 1000+ icon library. Each icon is a component with variants for different sizes and regular/fill theme (+bespoke properties for icons that need it). All icons are flattened single shape, fill-rule corrected and all have a single layer named “Shape”. (Everything is set-up exactly like MS Fluent system). This library is published to multiple design files where colors are being overriden depending on states etc. inside their parent components. All of this worked before summer vacation, coming back to work now almost all icon instances have reverted back to the default color variable and I am completely unable to even re-override them with the correct colors again. The color is not editable at all now. Why are the overrides broken?? Why can overrides no longer be applied at all?? This is breaking an entire design system at a very crucial point in time for us, any help is very, very much appreciated. Thanks.

When pasting multiple images into FigJam, when the last file is selected before pasting the other files, the filename with the last alphabetical filename unexpectedly displays in the 1st position in FigJam. (See attached screenshots of the behavior.)   

Hi,I’m running into a serious issue and would appreciate any help.Recently, my company changed the domain of our Google Workspace email addresses. After this change, when I log in to Figma, all of my projects and files are gone — it looks like I have a brand new empty account.I’m not sure if this is related to the domain change, but I suspect that my files are still tied to the old Google Workspace account. Has anyone experienced this before?

I have a prototype that has some buttons that will change a variable (number) up and down. The code uses a conditional statement that will set upper and lower limits to the value. When you click the buttons a text field tied to the variable will update to the new value. It works when you are logged in. When I send it to someone who doesn’t have a login, the value on the screen will not change. If I advance to a different page of the UI and return to the first page, the value will be updated. So, the code is working, but the screen is not updating it. There are other buttons running code and they work. If I login to Figma… it works. It is only an issue for a user that is not logged in. 

This feature is not working anymore on MacOS on the newest version 125.6.5 (I have this issue on my Macbook Pro M4 and Mac mini M2). Fortunately, my Windows PC is still working.If anyone has this issue, please help me raise this up to Figma!

Hello everyone, I am facing a critical issue with a Figma file and I need urgent help. I was working on a project with a submission deadline today, and the file has gone missing. Here's what happened: I was working on a file using my work account (personal information redacted). I transferred the file's ownership to my personal account (personal information redacted). I then mistakenly deleted the file from the original work account. Now, the file is unavailable on both accounts. I have already tried checking the "Deleted" tab in both accounts, but the file is not there. I also contacted Figma Support, and they directed me to this forum since I am on a Student Plan. I’m creating a template in Figma Slides. I deleted the predefined colors and added new ones, but when I click “Remix Template Colors,” the old deleted colors come back (with broken links in the ‘selection colors’ overview). It seems they’re not actually removed. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am creating a new library, I have created a colour style, I have named it wrong and now I can not edit it because, with the new Figma UI the edit button for styles has disappeared. Where I can find the previous UI?

I'm designing a prototype in Figma with a canvas size of 1920x1080, but when I enter Present mode, the display doesn't match the actual size. When I choose "Show actual size", it enlarges the frame beyond 1920x1080. (Image 2) When I select "Fit screen", "Fit width", or "Fullscreen", the background gets compressed or scaled in a way that doesn't reflect my original design layout. (Image 1) I need the presentation to appear exactly as designed in 1920x1080 without distortion. Is there a workaround or setting I’m missing? It suppose to look like image 3.  Any help would be appreciated!

I am creating a simple Icon library for a team project. I noticed, in the Material design library from Google, they have folders for different assets like buttons, headers, input fields etc. (attached image). How do I create those in my library? Thank you for your help.

Previously, videos would autoplay on it’s own and it seems like Figma pushed an update which allowed us to have more granular control i.e. autoplay/loop/sound But it seems like my video isn’t playing on presentation mode anymore irregardless of the video settings. After troubleshooting, I found that this is an issue with Figma Desktop App as the video plays as intended on browser. I have also updated my Figma Desktop App, restarted my computer etc but to no avail. Just wondering if i’m the only one going through this 😕

The final export looks great, but when I bring it into Figma for a project, I run into issues. Sometimes, the quality drops, or the playback isn’t smooth, especially when embedding it in prototypes.I’m wondering if this is a format issue or if there’s a better way to optimize videos for Figma. I have an educational licence of Figma. Will I get access to figma sites? Has it rolled out yet? I can't find it anywhere.

I have lost files from my Figma account. I looked at the drafts > deleted tab and its not there. I also filter searched all projects made by (me) and no luck finding it. I have a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says that Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions. I am experiencing an issue where I cannot update my library, specifically cards I have designed. When trying to publish it says there aren’t changes and the button is inactive. There are changes, I have even deleted sections, addes section etc… to test it and it still doesn’t work.

I'm currently experimenting with our design system library file. Whenever I select a library in Figma, the generated global CSS changes. However, when I add our library, the generated global CSS doesn't reflect our color variables, typography styles, or effects defined in Figma.How can I generate a proper global CSS that accurately uses the color variables, font styles, and effects from our actual Figma library?

We’ve built a large design library in our organization account that many internal teams use.Sometimes, we also work with external vendors (like agencies or freelancers) who need to use this library and get updates regularly. Because we’re a large corporation, it’s not practical to add them as paid seats just for a short project – the approval and payment process is too complex.What’s the best way right now to share a library with people outside the organization so they can actually use the components (not just view them)?Is exporting the library as a .fig file really the only option – even though that means they won’t get any future updates?Thanks!
