Higher API limits for demo

Hey Figma team,

We are a B2B SaaS company with a lot of enterprise users, a lot of who use Figma. So we developed a Figma integration, to let the users use their Figma with our AI.

Our sales team are using the same Figma account to give demos (since they don’t have Figma access), so they just use the Figma account that is authenticated with our Figma integration.

The problem is even at Full Seat, on our Org account, our rate limit gets hit, and demos are impacted. Can we get one test account with higher Figma API limits? Since it will help us our with our demos.

Hey ​@design_user_23232 👋 Thanks for the great post. I have a few questions to help me triage this for you:

  • How the integration authenticates — OAuth app, personal access token, or plan access token? And which plan the demo files live in.
  • Which endpoints are returning 429, plus the response headers from one of those calls: Retry-After, X-Figma-Plan-Tier, and X-Figma-Rate-Limit-Type. (Just those response headers — no need to include the request itself or your token.)
  • Roughly what request volume the demo flow needs, and over what window, if that's something you're able to share publicly
  • Whether the integration is already retrying on the Retry-After value
