Can I unassign a dev seat billed monthly and reassign to someone else?

This is possible, and since you'd be moving the same seat type to a new person, it won't cost you anything extra, as long as it happens within your current billing period. Because this Dev seat is on monthly billing rather than annual, you're not tied to a renewal window either. You can make the change any time before your next invoice.

Here's how to do it:

1. From the file browser, click Admin in the left sidebar, then select the People tab.
2. Find Nishok's row and click his current seat under the Seat type column. From there, you can move him to the free View seat if he still needs read-only access, or remove him from the team entirely from that same tab if he doesn't need access anymore. Either way, this frees up the Dev seat.
3. Before your next monthly invoice, assign the freed-up Dev seat to the new person.
   If they're not already on your team, invite them first. They'll join with a free View seat by default, then click their current seat type and select Dev seat.
    

Since a Dev seat is already available in your plan, it'll be assigned directly, with no additional seats or charges.
If the seat sits unassigned past your next monthly billing date, it won't renew, and adding a Dev seat again afterward would count as a new purchase rather than a swap. Reassigning it before then keeps everything as-is.
