It’s soooo frustrating. I have my personal and enterprise acc logged in figma. But, everyday, for security reasons, my company requires me to log in again for the enterprise account - therefore, the flow is:I click on figma app to login to a new account  Browser opens with a login modal I log in and a btn saying “open on figma app” I click on the btn Come back to the figma app saying an error has occurred.Only after doing this flow 3 times is when it actually works and that I can access my enterprise account on figma app. Can you look up on this? I mean, it’s already frustrating that I need to log in everyday, but gets worse when I keep trying to login and I just get errors with no description and that if you keep on trying it it will eventually work, which also makes no sense.Thank you.

Hello!A quick question: Would you recommend when using Figma Buzz to create templates directly in it or import from Figma Design to Buzz? 

in the Figma Make I created a dashboard, and everything is good, but suddenly all the tabs that have things in it all of them gone and just showed me a blank page,  so what is wrong? it is like a glitch.  

Updating components doesn’t activate publish. I make an edit to component in a file shared as a library. Usually this activates the ability to publish changes. But that is not happening. Nothing happens. To activate this I have to make an arbitrary change to another component. Doing this activates the function and I can publish. However this does not activate the review function on any of the subscribing files. How can I fi this so that it works as consistently as promised? (UPDATE) There was an invalid property. A showstopping problem the Figma UI does a great job of camouflaging.

Hi everyone! I have a problem with emojis disappearing from the thumbnails. As you can see the master file has a gemstone on the cover, but it doesn’t appear on the thumbnail. I designed it last year and everything was perfect, but now when I try to recreate this approach, the emoji just don’t show up on the thumbnails. What’s funny is when I copy the cover from the old files and copy it to the new one, everything works fine, but when I start making changes to the text frame in the copied cover, the emoji disappears from the thumbnail again. Things I tried to do so far: resetting the app clearing the cache building the cover again from scratch It seems like Figma completely lost the ability to show the emojis on the thumbnails for me. Any ideas on how to fix that? Anyone has the same problem?

Lines (vector paths) play an essential role in my graphics. The lines take the form of various basic geometric shapes:circles, ellipses, squares, rectangles, triangles, polygons.It must be possible to change the width of these lines with ease.In Illustrator, you can create vector paths based on basic shapes.Is it true that this is not possible in Figma?Correct, converting a basic shape into an area with a stroke using "Outline Stroke" is not a solution. After that, the width of the lines can no longer be changed.I do not want to draw vector paths from basic shapes manually using the Pen Tool.Thank you : ) 

I’ve added a video to my Figma sites file, but when I play the site, the video doesn’t work. Can you help me with this issue?

I’m experiencing a sudden bug in Figma, help! Context:I use a Wacom pen to pan around the canvas in Figma by holding the spacebar and dragging the pen across the tablet. Previously, pressing the spacebar would temporarily switch to pan mode and return to selection mode when released. Problem:Now, when I release the spacebar, Figma stays stuck in pan mode. I have to click multiple times with my mouse to exit it, and even then, it only works intermittently. Additionally, the blue selection box remains active when trying to select assets. This issue started happening out of the blue with no known changes on my end.  

Hello there! I began to use Figma Buzz shortly after it was launched and I am very exited about it. However, I seem to have an issue for a couple of days now : I cannot export my designs in PDF with Figma Buzz. I usually create sections for organizing my designs within the same file (different carrousels), but the export in PDF only works with the front page..Any thoughts ?Thanks! 

Hey everyone!I am not new to figma, but I noticed something that I didnt notice before and I dont know if its a bug, something that I am doing wrong or even something that always happened but I didnt knew of it.So, I am doing a game and I have hovers on books. I did a component with a book and a variation of it with a aura around. Both variations are exactly in the same spot. In the presentation mode, if I select “Actual size (100%)” everything is perfect. But if I select “Fit width and height” the hovers move slightly. Is this normal? If I past this to the devs will work right? Or I am doing something wrong?Thank you so much!

Hi,  My Figma account has been dormant for months, and i was surprised to see a charge of ~$211 USD to my card appear. No contact from Figma before or after the transaction either. I investigated, and it’s that my _team_ has an annual cost, fine. I bit annoyed that i didn’t get a “You’re about to renew” email, or a “thanks for renewing” email, but fine.I reached out to support to get a refund via the contact form here. Twice. No response (or receipt that they received my message) either time. It feels like i’m shouting into the void.I searched the forums and saw that people who post here get a response so i’m trying that.I haven’t used my Team for ~4months, and don’t intend to use it in the future. I’ve been charged for it. I’d like this to be refunded. How can I make this happen?

Hi.As an example we have the following structure: Frame 1 Ellipse 21 Rectangle 13 Vector Rectangle 81 Frame 2 Rectangle 5 Vector 3 Ellipse 2 Ellipse 11 Rectangle 17 There’s a nice native batch renaming function in figma. But it could handle only one single level and only one single name type.Is there any plugin with a one click function to get the following result, simply a consistant numbering? I just talk about names of basic standard layers. I do not talk about manually named layers like “My Layer 7” Frame 1 Ellipse 1 Rectangle 1 Vector 1 Rectangle 2 Frame 2 Rectangle 3 Vector 2 Ellipse 2 Ellipse 3 Rectangle 4 Thanks for your help : )

I’m trying to build a scrolling tab, sticky sub-navigation similar to Yelp (example attached) that pins to the top of the user’s screen. The key difference is that I need the sub-nav to stay hidden until the user scrolls past a certain point.

I have submitted my new plugin for review to Community Plugin and it has been almost 30 days now and there has been no communication from Figma team or hasn’t been approved and made available to public.Loosing valuable time and resources due to this.  

I have been working on some designs using FigmaMake. I love the result. I now want to get the files and code them on my own, rather than relying on FigmaMake code. Is there anyway I can do this please? Also, is there a way for me to export the file to Figma Design? Thank you for your help in advance. 

Does anyone have any idea why the default bold variant for Noto Sans seems to be the ‘Display bold’ and not just ‘Bold’?I can’t find a distinct ‘display bold’ font variant installed on my Mac and it doesn’t seem to be present as a selectable weight when I create a new text box and start typing - I just get ‘Regular’, ‘Bold’ etc. However, if I select some existing text set in Noto Sans and hit `command + B` I end up with the condensed, taller display weight variant.  I genuinely have no idea where the display weights are coming from or how to turn them off. Does anyone have any idea? It is driving me a little crazy 😳

Experiencing lag and delays in the MAKE chat on the Figma site when expanding conversations is a common frustration, especially as the text volume increases. The issue seems to worsen over time, specifically when typing into the input field, where the system momentarily freezes before displaying the typed text.Has anyone encountered a similar problem or found a solution to address this performance issue?

I am working with a colleague and some local variables simply do not update in the design when she is entering new values in the local variables window. Some do, some don’t. I on the other hand are able to update all variables with no issue. Both are using latest Figma Version via App. Only difference she is working on Windows, I am on Mac.

We have a button component that relies on a color mask for the disabled state. This mask grays out the assigned icon when the disabled state is selected. We use a mask because our icons can be of many different colors and this was the only way we could set the icons to be a single greyed out color while maintaining the original colors when reenabling. The component also allows the user to resize the icon from a nested component. We had this component working as expected last month.However, today I loaded up a file with several disabled icons and noticed all of them were broken. I dug into the file history and noticed the problem appeared at 10:34 AM on July 31st. This seems to be inline with a recent update that Figma released on that day. I’m guessing something in that update must have broken the component we made. Below are screenshots showing the issue. I am facing a bug where Figma does not correctly reference variables in a different collection even when the appropriate modes are set. For context, I have created a simple multi-brand design system with: Primitives collection: storing hex values of colors for each of my company’s brands (yellow and green) Semantic collection: storing references to variables in the primitive collection for the same brands After setting up the primitives collection, when I try and edit the variable for green brand in the semantic collection, the variable ‘picker’ window shows the correct green that should be referenced from primitives, however for some reason this does not apply.  The video demonstrates the issue. I also show correctly applying the mode for the page to be the green brand from primitives when attempting to troubleshoot.  Am I doing this entire thing wrong?

I have a design file that uses library components and is styled with modes. Right now, when i copy from the design file and paste into the figjam, the default library values are showing in the figjam instead of the styled components.  This is affecting icons, colors, and fonts. The only workaround is pasting as PNG

Hi everybody –I’m using VS Code with Claude Code and I’m trying to setup my Access Token. Inside my Figma Settings panel, the token states it was used and appears to be connected, but Claude (via VS Code) is showing a failed connection when using prompt “/mcp” to see the Manage MCP servers readout.On the other hand, my Figma Dev MCP Server, directly from my Project, is showing Connected.I connected the API before I connected the Dev MCP, though – does that make a difference? Do I need to connect the Access Key for additional functionality or will just the Figma Dev MCP do the same thing?UI/UX is my primary field so I’m in the depths of this learning curve for back-end stuffs.Any insight is greatly appreciated!
