I want to switch my education plan to figma starter plan.

I’m signed in under my personal email in standard account. I have tabs currently open on my desktop that I can’t access. Some are drafts some are saved. I used to be associated with a previous company (Accolade) but my personal email would have not been used for that figma account. Some of the drafts that I’ve recently started are also not displaying in ‘recent files’. Please advise.

I’m receiving an error of “user does not have editing permissions to modify file edit requests” even though the email from figma to approve the request is coming to my inbox, and I am in fact both the creator and the owner of said file. There are several files I need to edit and they are seemingly stuck in a limbo state and in an endless loop. Also: Please bring back email addresses displayed along with the user names so we can clearly, and efficiently identify overlaps or gaps in users who have multiple emails but identical display user on names.

Hi,I’m experiencing an issue with the “Change to Variant” interaction:I created a simple component with two variants.Added an interaction: On click → Change to → Variant2 (Instant animation).When I open Present mode and click the trigger element, nothing happens.What I have already tried:Tested both in desktop app and browser (Chrome / Edge) – same result.Created a completely new file with a simple rectangle component and two variants – still not working.Tried clearing cache, re-logging, restarting the app.My account is on the Free (Starter) plan, but according to the docs this feature should be available. It looks like the prototyping engine simply ignores “Change to Variant”.Could someone from the Figma team or community help me figure out what might be blocking variant switching?Thanks in advance!

Hi Figma Team,After the recent update introducing the "Draw" section, I was excited to explore the new brushes. I used the "Hardboiled" brush to create a scribbled, comical-style character for a client project. While the brush gave me the visual effect I was aiming for, I quickly ran into major performance issues.The design file became increasingly laggy, eventually consuming over 60% of system memory. I couldn’t move the character across screens, save my work reliably, or even build more than a few poses without the entire file slowing down dramatically. For a brush tool focused on loose sketching, I was surprised to see it demand such heavy resources for what is essentially vector scribbling.Would love to see optimizations for brush-based drawings in future updates — especially to support comic or sketch-based workflows.Thanks for your time and great work otherwise.

My account with [email address redacted by forum admin for privacy and security reasons] can no longer receive emails because the email has been deactivated. Therefore, I cannot complete the email verification process to log in. This account is on the Education Plan and contains many important files. Could you please advise how I can log in, or how I can transfer the files from this account to my personal account: [email address redacted by forum admin for privacy and security reasons]? I have already submitted a support ticket (case number 1522691), but I have not received any response yet. Hello,About a year ago, I applied for Figma Education as a K12 student and have been using it since then. My school does not provide students with email addresses, and when I previously asked about this through community support, I was told that it is possible to apply using a personal email address, and that if my application were rejected, I should reply to the rejection email with a copy of my student ID or similar proof. In the end, my application was approved right away without being rejected, and I’ve been using it ever since.Earlier, I received an email titled “[Reminder] Re-verify your Figma for Education status by Sept 29th to maintain Pro access”The email includes a link to re-verify my status, but the form linked there only provides the following options for “What type of institution do you attend or work for?”: “Higher Ed,” “Bootcamp or Online program,” and “High School (if permitted by terms below).” There is no option for K12.I recall the form being different when I first

When I’m working in figma slides or other, the bibliography quote doesn’t paste successfully.  When I copy a bibliography quote (in my case from Zotero) with Italics and Regular texts, figma doesn’t apply the text format (or without) in the design/board.I would like that issue will be fixed in further updates. Hi! I created a Figma file last week. I was able to view it last Friday but when I’m looking at it today, Sunday, suddenly it’s gone. It’s not in the Drafts, not in the Recently Deleted Drafts as well. I unfortunately do not have a URL as I didnt share it with anybody. Is there anyway I can still find it? Can anybody help me please. Thank you!

I have purple boxes between components however i want to remove them so there’s no space. How do I do that  

I cannot access Figma (the main figma.com domain, any other subdomain is accessible, e.g forum.figma.com, status.figma.com, etc.) unless the firewall is disabled on my network under Windows 11 Security.Neither is it accessible from Firefox and the desktop app, nor from other browsers. However, from other devices it seems to be working. Any port connection manipulating firewall rules, that I know to previously have been created, have been disabled. The browsers, operating system and most drivers are up to date. It is also not working with extensions disabled and disabling the browser’s use of Proxy does nothing.This is the error that the desktop app displays:Update: it has to be a problem on my home network, since on mobile network sharing from my phone it loads in.

Hello, noobie here, currently taking my first UI/UX course and have been enjoying the process using Figma so far. I haven’t had any troubles until recently, when I started prototyping. As you can see from my pic, I have some low-fi wireframes I made with basic shapes and text that I’m trying to prototype for a basic user flow. But some reason, when I click or hover over anything, except for the tiny diamonds that were imported with the iconify plugin for some reason, the nodes allowing me to connect to other frames does not appear. So I’m stuck and could really use some help. Thanks. 

Hello Figma Support Team,I noticed that my upcoming invoice shows multiple seats (3 Full + 1 Dev), but I only need 1 Full seat for my subscription. It seems there was a mistake and extra seats were added.Could you please:Remove all additional seats (Full, Dev, and Collab).Keep only 1 Full seat active.Switch my plan to the annual subscription (with the 20% discount).Adjust my invoice so that it reflects only the cost of one Full seat on the annual plan.I would appreciate your help in fixing this issue.Best regards,

I thought the Figma education plan gave me the same credits as the existing professional plan, but is the education plan unable to use Figma Make?

I canceled my plan a while ago, but I would like to go back and download my invoices. However, there is no button or option showing up. I simply need to download my invoices.I tried following the best answer in the community forum, but I still couldn’t find it.

 Hi everyone,I'm currently working in FigmaMake and encountered an issue where, no matter how I try to fix the error using "Fix for me", the preview still fails to display. It keeps showing the message:"A little help? I couldn't solve this one. Ask Figma to fix it, adjust the prompt, or restore an older version in chat."I've tried: Clicking “Fix for me” multiple times Duplicating the file Restoring to an older version that used to display properly Nothing seems to work, and I’m not sure what exactly is causing the issue.This is currently blocking progress 🥲 Any suggestions or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!Screenshot attached for context.Thanks in advance!

If I define  6 grid with margins I want the element in the grid to adhere to the grid and am not interested in widht/heigh in px. For horizontal designs it should be set as start and end (or span). That way the design transfers easily to css-grid without reinterpreting the widths In Layout quide - Columns at the possibilty to replace position/width with grid-start and grid-end or span.

What’s going on here?I clearly have one letter and a few strokes, but when presenting or making a PDF they totally disappear. Anyone?Thanks in advance.  

If you review hidden component, in window Review updates is also hidden and you can't see changes. 

Hello Everyone,I need to point 2 domains to 1 designed page, but the current settings only allow me to add 1 domain at a time. I can't find where to add a second domain.How can I configure multiple domains for the same page?Reference: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/31414274019863-Manage-a-custom-domain-for-your-siteI see the Pro plan allows 10 custom domains, but it's unclear whether this means:- 10 domains across 10 different pages, or  - 10 domains pointing to 1 pageCould you clarify this limitation?Thank you for your help.

I opened my student  account on figma and it asked me to re-verify my status which I did, I clicked the button and it led me to the verification process. I even signed in with my school account on my school portal. It asked me for proof of enrollment, but when I finished logging in using my school account it just led me to the image below.. When i clicked the button, it opened figma but to another account ? I also recieved an email on that acoount on my gmail. I find it weird that I logged in using my school account and another account got verified.

We tried many times from different accounts of my colleagues, the same situation was happened every single time. I have tried multiple times contacting the customer care sheed but SHEERID doesnt do anything they say click this kind of picture that kind of picture but how should i even try again when it says max limit reached. And how can you use your govt id to verify as a student atleast ask an I-20 or some student related id . Can anyone help me how can I verify myself as a student ?
