If I export a frame as an SVG, Figma adds a phantom rect element to the file that is not in the design. Note if it helps troubleshoot: the bug doesn’t happen if you go to SVG export settings and check “Ignore overlapping layers”. Please stop adding elements that shouldn’t be there; this is causing render artifacts for some of our products.

when I use the LIBRARY_PUBLISH webhook, the description returned by the API is not always correct.Sometimes it corresponds to the previous version.Has anyone else encountered this issue?It seems like the problem is coming directly from Figma.

Sadly I have to work on a Windows computer, so whenever I type a special character, it’s done with alt + 3 digits. But when I do that, the special character replaces the character that it comes after. This drives me crazy, and it’s unlikely they’ll be giving me a Mac(book) anytime soon...

Hi guys, In the current UI (NOT beta), the variable selector behavior has changed for the worse. When the variable name is long (or has a long path) the buttons to detach the variable or to find the element using it within a selection become hidden behind the right border. Since the right-side panel cannot be resized, it is super annoying. Please provide a fix – I don’t want to switch to the beta UI just yet or introduce changes to my variables' taxonomy (duuuh...).  Additionally, I cannot select a variable from a list by clicking its name (I used to be able to do so before). Now I need to always click the swatch.   

Figma flickers when loading or when switching between tabs or zooming. I couldn’t find how to fix the issue on the internet. I use the application on Windows. This is not visible in the screen recording. I have a video on my phoneaccounts.google.com

I have had access to the AI design tool for awhile now, but this morning when I loged on to create another project, the AI design tool has been removed? Can someone help me find it or get it back. We had created an amazing workflow for our team and this has slowed us down tremendiously. 

I am running into a bug only in the past 2 hours. Any instance of a component with variants that has text from a variable now won’t show the text. Is anyone else seeing this problem? I can re create this with a very simple 1 text component.

Is there any way to break all connections but leave my account intact? It has some pretty important stuff in it and there’s no way i can get in touch with the people in charge of permissions. Or am I screwed? I can’t even log in. Thanks

I designed a site design from Figma Desktop and then due to an app update, I couldn’t use the Desktop version anymore and had to use the browser version. This could be relevant to the problem. Now its time to build the site but I can’t export any images or text without changing the fonts to something else (which I would rather not). I select an image and shift command E or File/Export but nothing happens. 0 out 0 exported. Inconvenient because all my source files and text are handy within the FIgma file. For the fonts issue where I cannot extract text without installing the Font Agent.I have downloaded and installed “Figma Agent.app”, cleared cache and restarted browser and computer but still the same. Hello, I would like to ask, is it possible, if i am an owner of a team, then i delete the team if i no longer use it? And if it is possible, does it affect any files inside the team and the members in the team, will they automatically lost access to the files inside the team too? Because I don’t see any options in Figma to block a certain email or user, but i don’t want them to keep asking for request in my file team, aside from deny, is it possible to say that I as the owner have left the team hence cannot approve nor deny access, or perhaps if it is another way for Figma to change the link of my file? Thank you

Hello! I am fairly new to figma so bear with me.I understand the click and hover interactions by using variable elements, but I was wondering if I could use one component as a button to toggle visibility of a separate component within the same prototype?I have attached a screenshot of the mechanic I am looking to implement - a button within a set of images highlights their location on a map when clicked.I have had some success following other forum responses by using conditional statements to turn the attributes of the target map marker from true to false - visible to hidden, but I am not fully understanding the process so when a problem arises I am lost.I will also include some screenshots of the direction I have been heading in for reference.Any direct help would be great, or if anyone can point me to a good tutorial I would be very grateful. Right now we are a team of 3 people and we are working on a design system. The problem is that with the Professional Plan we can’t share the styles and components between us and for the moment upgrading to an Organization Plan wouldn’t be the best approach for us since we are only 3 people. Is it possible to have one single account (for example designteam@company.com) and the 3 of us to be logged in and use that account with a professional plan? In that way any style and component created inside that account could be available for use it.

1. As a upgraded user, how long can we access the version history of our files? Can I see all the history since the file was created? Or just 1 year or 2 years?2. How long can we keep the history records we keep manually in the file Is it permanent?

I’ve been trying to create HTML email with the help of Marka Email Generator in Figma. I host the images on Figma itself. When I export the project as an HTML file and run it in a browser, I don’t get to see the images I’ve added. Instead I get to see broken images along with the alt text that I’ve added to each of these images.Until a few days before, the plugin was working fine. But now I don’t understand how do I fix the problem that is occurring.Seeking help to solve the issue.

I have an extremely simple prototyping example that takes forever to click through when using variables to manage select/unselect state for a layer.

I am a Webflow developer and have used Figma pretty consistently for 2 years. However, I am by no means a Figma expert. I’m pretty green.BUT… I’ve found it very challenging / annoying for a while now how painful it is to select a layer/group/frame, find the right one, etc. The most troubling is that when I am in dev mode, MOST of the time when I click on an element in the canvas …. then the Layers Panel on the left does not move at all to correspond with where I am on the canvas. How can this be? It just wastes a lot of time.If I EXIT dev mode, then the Layers Panel on the left moves correspondingly & immediately when I click elements on the canvas. This is expected behavior and Dev Mode should do the same.As a developer, I find Figma to be pretty frustrating at times UX-wise. Do other devs agree?

I am experiencing an issue when trying to load a library shared (be me) for my team. I am repeatedly adding this library under Assets, but still can’t use this. Is there smth I don’t understand? Does this workflow work for you?
