I wanted to see mostly the pages panel so I dragged the layers panel as far down as possible. When I was done I tried to increase the height of the layers panel, but I couldn’t drag it at all. I moved the cursor very, very slowly to achieve this, but it didn’t work. I also tried to quit and reopen, make the window larger, and moved it to another screen, but nothing worked.
I would consider this a critical usability error because I cannot recover from this state.

I understand you’re having trouble moving the divider back up in the Layers panel after dragging it down to expand the Pages section.
I tested this on my side in both Chrome and the Figma Desktop app, but the divider is moving as expected for me.
If you haven’t tried these yet, could you please try the following quick fixes?

Browser: Force-quit your current session and open Figma in a brand-new browser window.

Desktop app: Force-quit the app completely and restart it.
If the issue still happens, could you check a couple of things?

Does this occur only in a supported browser, only in the desktop app, or in both?

Does it happen in all files, or only a specific one?
