Figma provides a URL https://desktop.figma.com/mac/version.txt which should have the current version string to help sysadmins with update automation. That URL seems to have stale information at the moment (125.9.10 instead of 125.10.5 as of this posting). Can someone at Figma please look into this?

I generated a figma make presentation and published it . Then I shared the published link to one of the persons within the organization. But the person cannot access it . Why ?

Hi,I'm trying to build a prototype using Figma Make from a number of screens I have.For example, I have a project with a large number of screens, and I want to create a prototype for it. I started with 3 screens.Normal screen (closed menu), a screen with a pop-up, and a screen with an open menuEvery time I insert screens into Figma Make it changes my design completely.When I try to be specific (for example, make the buttons in a system of hover and selected states) Figma Make deletes all the screen content and makes me a style for 3 buttons... I want a prototype with style.When I ask to restore the content that was deleted for me, it returns, but without the previous request.When I tried to simply insert one screen, it finally uploaded my screen as it is. But all the buttons are distorted, out of the frame. Everything is messy :(I have components, I have titles, I have layer names. Recently figma updated rate-limits, and i need orientation/insights on how to handle the implication of that in my project.So, our project used figma REST API to extract a JSON and images from design journeys on figma. Using that, we validate a series of internal rules on how to develop screens journeys for our organization.The thing is, this solution is used by a lot of designers , and they dont have the dev mode or a seat that allows them to make more than 6 requisitions/month (and they need way more than that).The only solution for that would be run the application on a personal token that has a higher seat? Or is there a way that i can upgrade the rate-limit of the application itself? All designers that use this application making a seat-upgrade would bring us much cost. I’m trying to understand if i have any alternatives here. I saw something about the API Tier having different rate-limits. Is that something i can work with or change? Hi,Since the latest major update, we’ve been seeing a visual glitch with component instances in our Organization.Almost all instances initially render with the default state of the component (or nested instances), instead of showing the overridden values. When I started prototype, all text layers changed into placeholder, and it keep glitching. I don’t know why :/Does anyone encounter this issue? 

Hi, i am a new student who is supposed to get the education plan with Figma through my university, but everytime i log in it says i have to verify (even though i already have set it up), and now it says i’ve exceeded the verification limit. What should i do? I have a very important exam and presentation that i need to use figma for. Everyone else in my group is able to use the education plan, and i feel behind.

Dear Figma Support Team,I am a student at BHARTI VIDYAPEETH SCHOOL OF ONLINE EDUCATION PUNE, (expected graduation:  2027). I urgently need access to Figma's education plan for coursework, but I’ve been completely blocked by the SheerID verification process.Here’s what has happened so far: I used Figma's education plan for a year and when it was time to reverify I submitted the verification form, but when I submitted my documents, there was an error. I tried it two more times and it gave an error. When I made another try, it said "verification limit exceeded". The issue was not resolved by SheerID and I am still getting the "verification limit exceeded" when I try to re-verify. I got the mail from the sheer id support team to try it with my verified college id but i do no a email id provided by college also cc figma ive also mailed the documents but theres no response from sheer id and it a week now for no reason my figma account is locked  today ive mailed them again about the same

Day 1 using FigmaI just want to use Figma Slides right now … and trying to get used to it vs Keynote.I understand how to hide the whole UI.But I want to hide JUST the right hand margin of slide - as the working space is so small compared to Keynote - which is an issue working on a 13inch laptop -anyone help please?Thanks

I have a company account where we have a paid professional plan, but when i tried creating a mock on AI backed feature, it is throwing a message that I am out of free AI credits. I don't know why it is still showing as free even after having a paid account

I had this issue since yesterday where my figma make files specifically doesn't seem to be able to load. This happened to all my figma make files and it's been around 24 hours and nothin has changed. Figma support mentioned it could be due to network issue but the same error occurs on other networks and also to those who have view access to the files.

I'm reaching out because my Figma Education Plan still hasn't been activated, even though SheerlD has already confirmed that my verification for the Education offer was successfully approved. At the moment, my Figma account still shows the "Starter" plan, and I continue receiving "Upgrade" prompts. When I try to re-apply, I also get a "Verification Limit Exceeded" message. I am still an active student and need access to the Education Plan for my coursework and design projects. Hello! I have a question regarding my use of the Figma Education Plan as a university professor. While attempting to use the new AI tool with Figma Sites, I encountered two issues: The AI tool wouldn't work on figma sites (it’s like blocked); When I published a site, I was not given the option to set a custom domain. I contacted Figma’s chatbot, and it responded with this message:"Figma Sites is available for higher education or bootcamp Education users, but not for K-12 users. If you're a higher education student or bootcamp participant, you should have access to custom domains."However, I still don’t have access to this feature.Can anyone provide further guidance on this?

I’m a student of an university in bangladesh. I have filled out all the information but its showing error every time.  

Figma’s billing experience is extremely disappointing. Users should be able to access past invoices without being forced to pay again. They claim that all sales are final, yet they don’t even send the invoice by email, which should be the minimum expectation.I’m very frustrated by the fact that I had to purchase another seat just to access my previous invoice. This feels completely unacceptable and borderline improper from a legal standpoint. The Figma AI assistant is also unhelpful, repeatedly suggesting the same “solution” of paying again to view the invoice, and only community-based support is available. I needed the invoice today, so I had no choice but to pay—but I still believe there should be a proper workaround for this.If this is not resolved in a satisfactory way, I will seriously consider switching to a different product.

Hello forum! So the default hotkeys for bringing to front and sanding to back, as moving layers above or below or other layers, are ] and [.And bringing forward and sending backward, as moving layers on one position abore or below other layers, are ctrl + ] and ctrl + [ key combinations.My issue is that I use second option, that is moving layers by one step much more often, so it would be much easier if that would be just ] or [, without also pressing ctrl key.Is there a way to switch those functions or hotkeys for those functions in Figma? Am I the only one having such an issue?Thank you 

All of a sudden, when creating a new variable collection, after clicking "Create Collection," the selected collection reverts to the top collection in your list.It used to stick on the new collection. Now instead it takes me away from the collection that I am trying to create. This is a new change and entirely problematic as well as really annoying.I created a bug report for this.
