Hey everyone 👋I’ve been freelancing as a designer and kept running into the same headache —keeping track of client feedback and revisions outside Figma.Clients comment on emails, send screenshots in Slack, or text feedback on WhatsApp 😅So I built a small CRM for designers that connects with Figma links, and lets clients view, comment, and approve each version in one place — kind of like a client-facing review page. It’s still new, and I’d love to hear: How do you manage revisions or approvals with your clients? Do you use Figma comments, Notion, or something else? Would a shared “review page” make your workflow easier? Here’s a quick preview of what it looks like 👇 If anyone’s curious, I’ve linked it here : Aprovly.appWould love any feedback or ideas from fellow Figma users 🙏
I’m currently working on this picker area. I created one component set so I can switch between exercises 01–08.However, I’m not sure how to make the timer work together with it. I know that you can’t create an actual countdown timer inside Figma, but what I need is to show the timer state for each exercise. For example:01 — Calves — 04:00 Remaining02 — Hamstrings — 03:30 RemainingEach exercise has a duration of 30 seconds. How can I make this work so that when I click on “02 — Hamstrings,” the displayed countdown also changes to “03:30,” just to demonstrate to the developer how it’s supposed to function?
Hey everyone,I’ve been learning mobile app design in Figma lately, and AI tools often suggest that I should always follow responsive design rules. However, I’ve noticed that many templates, social media posts, and even YouTube tutorials don’t seem to focus much on responsiveness. So I’m wondering — in the mobile app design field, is responsiveness actually an important rule to follow, or is it something designers usually skip in practice?Would love to hear your thoughts! 🙌
I am having trouble getting into any figma board and when I try to get into the board it starts to load but then stops in the same place I can not do anything to fix this but I can get into the website just fine, is there a way I canj fix this?
Hi everyone,I’ve noticed that the native plugin header (the top bar that shows the plugin icon, name, and close button) has a different height when running a plugin in Development mode compared to published plugins. In Development mode, the header is noticeably taller — around 56 px, while in published plugins it’s around 40 px. This reduces the usable vertical space inside the plugin window. It’s not just one plugin — I see the same behavior across all my plugins, even the most basic ones without any custom styling or JavaScript.I’m testing in the Figma Desktop app on macOS, latest version. Is this an intentional change in the Development environment, or maybe a bug introduced recently?
Я хотел узнать, можно ли использовать Figma на Samsung Z Fold 5. Создавать дизайн,перемещать элементы и в целом полноценно работать?I wanted to find out if it is possible to use Figma on Samsung Z Fold 5. Create a design, move elements and generally work fully?
Hi there, I have reverified my education plan multiple times and have received emails that I am verified and my educational plan is activated, but in Figma I still see the notification “Education status expired.” Please advise.
Hey everyone, I successfully authenticated my student status through SheerID, they have confirmed that all my information was correct. Somehow my status was still not transferred to Figma and I don’t have access to my education account, does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue as I have already reached out to education@figma.com about a month ago and haven’t heard back yet. Or who I could possibly reach out to instead or through a different medium?

After importing a figma file in figma the images do not appear in the design.I have received the the figma files from the UI designer.
I had two slides files in my account that I last edited in Jan 2025, and they are no longer there. I checked all my teams and projects and trash. Can someone help please?
Hello,I am working on building basic and complex components within my figma file and I am running into a road-block. It is my goal to re-design all the pieces to reflow from a full screen mode to a half-screen size. This entails using auto-layout for components. What I need help with is that I have individual child frames all together in an auto-layout parent frame. I have successfully structured the typography, icons, and background within each frame to reflow properly when I re-size the component. However, I am running into one issue which is that the background colors within each child frame will start growing/shrinking exactly where they started, but I would rather than start where the prior frame ended (after the adjustment) + 2 pixels for spacing. As I grow or shrink the space, it doesn’t adjust like I wish and messes up the design. Is there a way to fix this or am I expecting a feature that doesn’t exist?
I’m the only UI designer responsible for my company’s mobile app.A few weeks ago, we decided to migrate all our app UI designs -over 150 screens- from Adobe XD to Figma. So far, I’ve recreated a few new flows in Figma and shared separate prototype links for each (as I used to do in XD).But we recently realized that every shared prototype link reveals the entire design document, and that all flows are visible from the left menu. This is a serious problem for us because we have multiple teams working on different areas of the app, and some of those teams’ work is confidential even to other teams.I’ve looked for ways to share only specific flows or limit visibility, but so far couldn’t find a practical solution other than creating separate files - which isn’t feasible for a 150-screen, 30-flow project. Is there any way to share only specific flows (or hide others) within the same Figma file?Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
We have an issue when attempting to add external team members to our connected project. Both organisations are on a paid plan and have a connected project setup. The external team member attempting to add, is part of the connected organisation. However, when attempting to add an external member to the connected project they are restricted saying they need to be part of the host organisation.
In admin panel People section, when I open detail of user and changing users, “Role” field don´t change based on user (side panel is still open)- showing role of First opened user. All other fields are dynamically load by the user detail. If I close and reopen side panel with another user, side panel load all the data.
Hello everyone, sadly I couldn’t really find any solutions through Google, so I’m trying my luck here. I’m fairly new to prototyping with Figma but managed to create a hover-effect quite easily:The hover should add a gradient and a arrow. So far, so basic. Now, when testing out the prototype and hovering over my button, the smart objects in which all the buttons are positioned as part of the sites navigation component will change in width. I think I understand what’s happening in theory, the button is now getting ever so slightly bigger because of the arrow being added. This fact combined with the auto-layout just makes everything wider. I just don’t know how to solve it. Making the original button wider is not really possible because that would be a fixed value. I need the button to be flexible in width.I have already made a recording of the issue but I’m unsure on how to upload or attach the video. Is there a work-around I’m not seeing? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Hello! I’ve recently run into this problem with some images in my project files. Frames that had images in them no longer appear to have them and version history also cannot pull any of the images. They seem to just be gone. We have multiple instances across multiple files where we’ve encountered this. The images now just appear as rectangles in the layers panel. For one project page all of the images have disappeared, while on another only a few. example of what it looks like in the layer panel now
In my project, I use two separate Figma files—one for design and another for reusable components. These files are connected through a shared library. Occasionally, when I make edits to complex components, publish the changes, and then update the library in the design file, some components fail to update correctly. This usually happens when the component is nested inside another frame or auto layout.!--startfragment>I initially thought that might be the cause, but the strange part is that sometimes the update works perfectly. If anyone has experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it, I’d really appreciate your insights.!--endfragment>
I have a Figma Library that is getting to heavy, so my team and I deleted all the unnecessary items, components, resizes the images and downloaded the file has a local file. We got 128mb.And for the upload purpose we need it to be much smaller, the issue is no matter what we delete, it doesn't change the file size, we even cleared the all file, including the Version History. It literally keep the same exact size 128mb, after download it to a local copy again. What are we missing here? Can you help?
Hey friends! Is anyone else having issues with Figma Make projects working great in the preview and then just giving a blank screen when published and accessed via the provided URL.I’ve tried refreshing the project, fully closing out Figma and reopening, even duplicating the project entirely and publishing that, but still getting the same issue. Have had some coworkers try the URLs as well and they similarly get blank screens. When I go into dev tools on the published site, the code is empty and has seemingly nothing from the project. Our hope was to test with users using Make prototypes since it’s a huge step up over testing on a static prototype, so would be amazing to figure out what might be causing this!
I build a Figma Website for my Company and they use Microsoft Edge Broswser, Chrome and Firefox in Citrix. The Website loads and works in Firefox and Chrome Citrix. It also loads in Browsers outside citrix. But if i open it in Edge Citrix it shows nothing, loads only 2 menü points in the top and thats it. Is there any thing i can do ore a place i can get help? I know this may not be an easy fix but i dont even know where to start looking for the problem.
Hi everyone, I’ve been facing an ongoing Design System sync issue across multiple project files, and despite submitting detailed tickets to Figma Support, I haven’t received any response.Posting here in hopes that someone from the Figma team or community can help. Problem summary Components from our shared Design System are randomly breaking or desyncing across files. It started with an icon in a file uploader component that appeared oversized in one file, then moved to a modal background overlay, and now even affects button icons in other files. Replacing the affected component instance fixes it temporarily, but after a while the same issue appears again on different components or files. Why I’m posting Since support hasn’t responded yet (Ticket #1569789 and #1560466), I’m posting here to see if anyone else is experiencing similar component desync or visual corruption issues across files, or if a Figma staff member can help escalate this. Any insights or workarounds would be greatly
