can anyone suggest me what should i do?

 I want to create a smooth animation using Smart Animate on this tick ., but the dialog box beside it is also kind of moving with the tick  . Despite keeping all the x and y positions same in both frames of all the elements in the box , its still happening ..If anyone has any solution or advice, I would be really  appreciative. 

Sometimes cmd-c just doesn’t do anything. I have to right-click and select Copy from the context menu.Sometimes it works, I have not so far found logic to it. The recent Figma update did not fix this. (I’m using the latest Mac build.)This happens MANY times every day, and as I’m sure you can understand, is very annoying and slows down my work.

Guys, has anyone already found a clear solution about this bug? Figma changes a bold or regular font for an italic, it happens to me with Gotham font, I uninstalled it from the system, I installed it again, then I installed only the regular and bold ones, no italic, all the computers that have access to the Figma file have the same font installed, we all use the desktop program not in the browser, this problem is becoming a hell for us, does anyone have any solution please? 😩 😵‍💫

Hi there! After the latest update, I can’t resize autolayouts and boxes anymore (see video). The resize handle doesn’t become available - I can sometimes get the handle it if I am very very slow and patient. In the video I end up moving the box, not resizing it. Pretty basic thing to be able to resize stuff! And pretty devastating! (I also still have occasional problems with zooming in with my MacBook Pro trackpad). Has someone found a way to fix this? Is there a better way to report this bug? Specs: macOS Monterey 12.4 Figma Desktop App version 116.0.5

I understand that Figma isn't specifically designed for this, but I’ve created a scrolling carousel of images. I did this by making a component and adding an interaction in the prototype menu. I want to use this for social media, but I'm unable to export it as a .mp4 file.Is there any solution for this problem apart from Screen Recording?

Version: 124.7.4 After updating Figma, the top title bar of the Figma client is missing. I’m unable to move, minimize, expand, or close the client. I’ve reinstalled Figma twice and the issue is still persisting. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any idea on how to fix it? Currently on Windows 10 I’m also receiving a windows prompt when opening Figma:

 The layout in custom textstyle dropdown in Figma Slides breaks when the text size is large (240px) in this case.

Hey Figma Community! I’m wanting to see a history of people who have opened and viewed my Figma file. Is there a way to see the file viewing history? Something like “On Jan 3 John Doe viewed your file” or “13 people viewed your file on Jan 3”. Does this exist? Thanks!

I've set properties on the component to turn off the label and helper text, but when turned off, the layout still hugs the space where the text would have been. Is there a way to avoid this?Below is the main component, and the instance on the right shows the text turned off but still affecting the spacing. 

Hello! I just received an updated font (with the correct metadata to show the font weight in dev mode) and I’ve replaced the font for the organisation account.I can see that in existing components - it hasn’t updated or isn’t showing the correct font weight as it seems to be reference the old font. Is there something else I need to do to make sure it’s now using the newer version of the font?Many thanks! 

Bug happens when we have two elements: top one have mask operation applied to a group. I made a smallest reproducable case, it is avaliable in the attached design. After exporting to png format:await node.exportAsync({ format: 'PNG' })Exported result is looking completely different from what is displayed in playground or in the Figma player. I’ve attached the result in that document. From extracted bytes it is clear that problem is not in opacity of pixels, but in mixing the opacity back to color, or maybe in some blending process.It does not happen in the JPG format (and in other test cases in the attached design file). 

I’ve seen other posts about this issue but nothing seems to help or work. I keep getting Missing font icon in the Figma app (not browser) for fonts I already use in other Figma files (that do not show the same missing font) and that I have installed on my Mac. Also when opening the missing font dialogue window there is no option to ‘replace the fonts’. This is an example of a simple ‘Arial’ font which is installed and used across many apps on my Mac. It just says ‘close’ but no option to replace. Thanks

Hello,I cannot find a way to create what I want. I would need a responsive layout of the page, with the content divided in cells:a1, b1, c1 → headera2, b2, c2 → maina3, b3, c3 → footerbut with the b2 having a fixed aspect ratio of 4:3 and a height of around 75% of total height depending on min-width of a2, c2. I have tried numerous ways, but because of the lack of percentage, vh, vw units and relative sizes, I cannot figure out how to do this. Coding-wise, with a variable and some calculations in css this is doable. I am posting some screenshots before and after resizing the frame → The norma behavior should be not to destroy the layout while keeping the ratio of b2. 

I am looking for a way to change the look of the mouse cursor form an arrow to a circle (more like a formal mobile presentation), but I couldn’t find an effective way? Any one can help me out here?? Thanks

I swear it was originally a thing that “open in playground” meant developers could change states of things and inspect those variant values.???My developers only get a turn-stuff-on-and-off toy.No inspect options.Are we missing something? Doing it wrong?How are developers supposed to get styling for variant states? 

I’ve been experiencing a bug where my keyboard shortcuts no longer work as expected for the past few days, which is when they just did a new release. (It’s 2/26 now.) When I try to do things like rename a layer or apply strikethrough text, Chrome’s browser shortcuts take over instead. For example, pressing the rename shortcut refreshes the page. I usually work in the browser version of Figma, and switching to the desktop app isn’t ideal for my workflow. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Could this be a bug from the new update, or is it something on my end? I'd really appreciate any insights or if the Figma team could look into this.

example image, ill apply the technique to a private design​​​​im pretty new to figma and graphic design in general so, i wanted to know what kind of solution can make what i want with this, i want the black outline of the circle to “mask out” the square there, for solid backgrounds i just made it the same color but for gradients like this well, it looks like an out of place ringi experimented with masks but got nowhere, i know its basic but its getting frustrating, applying the same gradient to the outline in a seperate layer feels like patching it with some tape i want a more sophisticated solution if possible

Hey! This is my first time posting here, I’m learning Figma alone from this site, Youtube and Coursera and I got to Variables(still struggling with some parts but I’m learning) (Since I don’t know anyone who works with Figma this question might be stupid but I got no one to turn to) What I was wondering is how should I better approach a new project? Should I start with adding all the information in local Variables ( both primitives and semantics) or should I design my page first and then allocate the variables for them? Whatever video I’ve watched , in 3 months since I’ve been studying Figma I didn’t see any projects made from scratch. I’ve been doing little stuff, learning on sections, but I’d like to approach a full site with variables, prototyping, responsive layouts, carousels and w/e I’ve learned so far but my brain melts when I try to think of the full volume and I’d at least like to have a good approach..  

Hi, I’m new to Figma. I need help, please, on the following issue: when I draw some element (eg. square) on my frame in Figma, I point the cursor to a certain position on the frame, but when I click to draw the shape, the pointer moves / “jumps” to 5 mm away. This slows down the entire process and it’s very frustrating to work without precision, in a design software. Is there any way to correct this? I checked and I have the snap to grid active. Thanks

I am trying to select the “change to” option when creating a hover function for a button within a component, however it is greyed out and won’t let me click it, preventing me from creating my calendar function. Does anyone have a solution to this?
