Network issues, not able to load libraries

Joris Re

Hi, it seems that libraries are not loading.
Are there any network issue, or can we make it so that these liraries are cached or are local and you can keep working when offline?

The case now is that i can create files, but saving them, changing a name or adding libraries do not seem to be saved or updated.

Figma is not workable this way…

Hey @Joris Re, thanks for reaching out!

From what you’re describing, this sounds like it may be caused by a network connectivity issue, especially since creating files works, but syncing changes and loading libraries does not. Libraries in particular require an active connection to load and sync.

You can continue working on existing files offline to some extent, but searching for components from libraries or inserting library instances is not available offline. Find more info in our Help Center article: What can I do offline in Figma?

Can you check if this resolves when connecting to another network (e.g. mobile hotspot) or after temporarily disabling any VPN/Proxy/Firewall connections?

Thank you,

Gayani
