Hi there, I have a seamless scrolling marquee component which works great - smart animating between 2 instances using delay so it appears as a loop. I’ve put this component within another component, which ‘on click’ cycles through instances until it opens and displays content. The problem is when you click and trigger the parent component state changes, the nested marquee jumps back to the start. This makes sense as it the state of the marquee doesn’t match when they change - but has anyone found a way to avoid this? Or is there no way? The only way I can think of is to make the marquee a looping video asset and then when the state changes on the parent the position of the video will match (I think). Thanks in advance!

Hi Figma team & community, I’m managing a design system and I wish to make a massive update to make it lighter to improve performances on our design files.With variables and components variants, there are infinite possibilities on how to create components. The outcome components will likely be a mixed between variables and component variants, but when I can prioritize one versus the other, I would like to know what will improve performance based on how Figma is structurally built?   Performance rumours:— One one hand, I’ve heard that pasting a component instance in a file brings all its variants with it. I’m trying to verify the educational institution my Figma account email is associated with, but am continuously receiving a “Verification Failed” page whenever I try to do this. I’ve filled out the request form for individual attention in verifying my account, but haven’t heard back even though that was a week ago. How can I proceed with account verification?

I have a Design system file with a component Accordion. As you can see in the video linked below, it has 2 states: open and closed, and inside it has a placeholder component for content. The idea is to replace placeholder with real content when needed.Now I want to use this component in another file, so I replace placeholder with “real content”. When I play it tho, my real content is replaced with original placeholder - and that’s not what I want. BUT, when I start with its state OPEN, then it works as expected. Hello,I am trying to export a design frame from Figma to Bolt.new, I did one yesterday, tried today and it says I hit a rate limit, rate is 5 a minute, i exported one yesterday and that’s it. How do I solve it

how can I escalate a ticket that was opened for over 48 hours?

This issue is still happening. Where png images are imported to figjam with a background rather than transparency. Seems to be an issue that has been happening for years. Can this be fixed? 

Hello, It’s cool that we have followup of the AI credit visible but it has a limit, it show only the usage of the current month.With Organisation & Enterprise plan, and especially with a new type of usage, we have to followup the usage on a yearly base.Is there any way we can keep track of usage of credit on a monthly (basis?) without considering the reset? What we want to focus on really in the consumption. Thx for your help

Hi Figma, I’ve notice a bug where the background of a frame bugs, the colour not being applied to its whole surface. Resizing the frame resolve the issue, but it might came back on the next Figma opening.In the screenshot, the selected layer is where the purple border and white background is applied, but it is shown differently. The attached videos shows other examples and the background re-aligning upon resizing the frame. This have been noticed in regular files as well as branches, on the desktop app as well as the web app, only tested on a mac.  

Hello Everyone!I am having a strange issue, so my day to day task involves screen recording Figma Prototypes using Loom Desktop App, but the issue is the screen recorded final output video doesn’t retain the gray shades of the UI in the prototype, so everything looks bright white, no gray shades etc.It records things outside figma just fine, only figma UIs are this way.If anyone can help me to understand what the issue is and how to solve. thanks

Hey everyone!So, I am facing a vry weird issue, I have to take live websites screenshot and stack them to make it look a full website(mobile view). In design canvas they look flawless, there is no visible indication of different images (because I am using dev tools to take full page screenshot).Now the issue is when I open the prototype view of same website, it shows black division between all images.(I am using autolayout and in design view everything look flawless).If anyone can help.There is no visible divider or space below Total in design viewIn Prototype view, it gives black lines between every separate image

I added Figma MCP to my project and also added implement design skill but cursor keeps producing very irrelevant designs. What I need is recreating the Figma design in swiftUI with pixel accuracy. I am ok if it will use PNGs instead of vector shapes. However it keeps looking at screenshots and creating something visually similar yet far from original design. Is there a way to translate Figma design to SwiftUI literally?

While reviewing updates I switched off the "Show updates for all pages" feature because i dont want to waste time reviewing updates on my “Draft” pages.However, when i review instance updates, list still shows me instances across all pages. That problem increases my reviewing time by a lot. 

Figma is going in loops trying to fix the mock data. I am stuck getting back to my work and not sure where to report this so that i can gte immediate help

After creating or copy-pasting text box, inputting Korean text, returning back to editing, the cursor will be stuck at Hand Tool. It won’t change to Move or Scale cursor unless I create a new tab and come back, go to another tab and come back or close curret tab and reopen.This is a nightmare for me since most of my work contains Korean.

I verified my Education status with SheerID but Figma still requires verification from me. After contacting SheerID support, they have confirmed that I am verified, and that Figma needs to reset the sync status. i have finished to design a data report phototype yesterday。but the apps have broken，the chart is disappeared。  

Have not been able to update or publish anything on Figma Make. I noticed other people are having this issue but it looks like theirs were solved yesterday. I am still experiencing issues. Tried different versions, cleared the cache, etc. Still nothing; anyone else?
