I was using Figma make heavily before the credit limit got activated. I’m way beyond the limit.
If I purchase credits, will those be set off for the credits that I exceeded during the beta period? or I will be able to use what I purchase right away?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out and for sharing the screenshot!
I’m happy to help clarify. Credits used before enforcement (March 18, 2026) and overage credits, the credits beyond your seat limit, won't count against the credits you purchase and won't be billed retroactively
Since you’ve already exceeded your monthly limit, any additional AI credits you purchase on your Professional plan will be available right away and can be used for new AI actions going forward.

I dunno because I have an upcoming payment of $60 when I was only paying $21.35 every month... I bought another $1,000 because it said i ran out and theres still almost 2 ½ weeks before i get my monthly credits so I’m thinking okay i’ll buy $1,000 more should last me until then….NOPE! not long after of purchase i was prompted to pay for another $1,000. ALSO I was using default mode and asking for VERY SIMPLE tasks on my project to be done like for example asking “can you attach this url “URL” to this word “WORD” so when it is clicked it takes someone to instagram, facebook ect.” you get the idea….anyway using default and asking it to do that burned 56 credits!?
