Hi Figma Support,I am writing because I am unable to access the Education Plan despite being a student. I am facing a loop where I cannot verify, and the third-party support has closed my case.The Issue: Role Confusion: In my account settings, my role is listed as "Education" (see screenshot), but I do not have the Education Plan features and am still asked to upgrade to a paid plan. Verification Blocked: I attempted to verify via SheerID multiple times without success. I have now reached the limit and cannot retry. SheerID Response: I contacted SheerID support to resolve this, but they refused further assistance and permanently closed my ticket with the following message:"Hello, Thanks for contacting SheerID. We were unable to process your verification request. While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently close

I know I know windows, everyone uses MacOS etc However Figma Slides doesn’t make it easy to export all slides to a single pdf there is no “files” option Like there is no UI option to export slides as individual slides or all at once. This is not useful. Documentation is not helpful for window users missing on user base

I deleted my account by accident and I lost important projects. I cannot do anything about it apparently but I need help… I never received an email to confirm any deletion nor any link to download data or reverse something. I am completly lost here...

Experiencing pixel nudge problem, does anyone have the same problem or whats the solution for this.When moving a point from a shape or from pen tool using keyboard arrow keys it nudges 2px even the nudge amount is set to 1px in the settings. The problem also occurs for big nudges, jumping from 20px instead of 10px. When the nudge amount is set to 0.5px, the point will nudge 1px. The problem only occur on points and not on shapes or objects, as far as I observed. Figma Desktop App version 126.0.4I also attahced a quick video.

I recently set up my student account under the Figma Professional Plan. However, after accepting ownership of a FigJam file, I was unable to add a new page and received a prompt to upgrade to a Professional Plan. It was my understanding that my student verification already granted me access to these professional features. Can you please review my account status and advise on how to resolve this discrepancy? Thank you for your help.

Hi, I am unable to get the Grammarly plugin to open on a Figma Slides file. Any reason why this might be happening? 

I was playing around with Mirror and somehow I ended up saving a playable version on my phone.   Sadly, I don’t remember how I could have done that.   This is really handy because I can now open the app away from my desktop and see/share the Figma Flow. I think it has something to do with a Page.  ?? I just don’t remember how I did it.    😫

My sidebar doesn’t hug its children as it’s supposed to be. An instance of it works, but other copies of it doesn’t work.With the non-working instance: With the working instance:I’ve checked everything. Everything’s the same. The sidebar instance is the same  as the main component’s.

Hi,Overnight, my prototype started acting weird in regards to stroke.It looks like the element shortly inherits the default stroke from when applying it before showing the correct one when navigating back and forth between screens.Yesterday, it worked like a charm.I’ve cleared my cache, restarted, reinstalled, etc.

Hey everyone! 👋I’m currently building my portfolio site with Figma Sites (loving it so far! 🎉), but I’m running into a GDPR question.I plan to add Google Analytics for basic traffic stats — which means I technically need a cookie consent modal for GDPR compliance (I’m in the EU).As far as I can see, Figma Sites doesn’t (yet) support any built-in cookie consent options.So my questions: How are others here handling cookie consent with Figma Sites? Is there any native solution planned? Have you successfully embedded 3rd party tools like CookieYes, Osano or others? Any tips or workarounds would be super appreciated! 🙏

Hi,When I transfer my designs to the developer, if I apply “clip content” to my page that has overflows (to apply scrolling in prototyping mode), it is impossible for him to see the elements that go beyond the limit that is fixed. I am obliged to uncheck “clip content” to let him see all the elements, which is a hassle.Can you fix it in the DEV mode or is there a workaround to achieve this without having to check/uncheck that “Clip content” box before design handoff? 

Hi Figma team,My Figma account is linked to a university email that has been deactivated after my graduation (8 months ago), so I can no longer receive login or verification emails. I’d like to transfer the account ownership to my personal email and continue using Figma on a paid plan. Old email on the account:[redacted PII - DJV 2/4/26]New email: [redacted PII - DJV 2/4/26] I can provide any verification needed (graduation certificate, government ID, or any other documentation). This account contains dozens of FigJam projects created over the past 4 years, including freelancing training boards, branding projects, personal study materials, and much more.I’ve invested approximately 600+ hours into this work, and losing access would mean losing several years of critical work. I’m ready to upgrade to a paid plan as soon as access is restored.Thanks in advance ^^Best,Mohamed Momtaz 

Verification limit exceeded

I’ve already restarted and force quitted Figma multiple times, restarted my device too, but for some reason the shortcut to place images (Shift + Cmd + K) is not working all of a sudden. I was in the middle of a workflow when this happened, and not sure how to go around this as this shortcut is an integral part of my workflow. Hello Everyone,We are the developers of the AVIF Exporter Figma Plugin.We have just noticed that recently, when someone tries to expand/minimize the “Size or Quality” bar, the plugin repositions itself to some other position automatically.We do figma.ui.resize behind the scene to support that feature, we are calling only that function, but it also seem to be repositioning the plugin.This didn’t happen before. We have also observed the similar behaviour with other plugin automator .We think there some bug with figma plugin API or figma itself. Before the `resize( )` call After the `resize( )` call 

I everyone, I need help with figma sites.When I use Figma Site and I try to edit text in a section, for example in the header, it doesn’t automatically update in the other breakpoints, same things for pictures, they don’t update on other breakpoints. However, if I delete a section, it does get removed across all breakpoints, and the same goes for deleting a text block, it disappears everywhere.Can someone explain me what am I doing wrong please ?Thanks, Arthur

Hi,I am an educator using Figma for my class and can’t verify - I’m the only one unable to edit the shared board which is frustrating. I have emailed both SheerID and the Figma education team multiple times. SheerID keeps resolving my ticket with no explanation or solution. I think I might have initially been blocked because I am overseas using a VPN or because my legal name is different from my school name? I’m just guessing, goodness knows why, they won’t tell me… A disappointing experience. Please help reset the verification limit asap - we’re moving through the semester already.

Is there a way to download the source code of my Figma plugin from the community?I code a plugin few years ago in my work computer,  but lose the code when I quite that job.Now I want adjust some feature of that plugin, is there a way?

We are facing an issue on Hand-Off file (Dev Mode):When we changed the token spacing name (ex: from Sm to Md) and publish DS library. The main component on Working file is updated but its instance in Dev Mode isn’t updated , the developers still see it Sm. How to deal with this problem?I don’t want to publish working file as a library.
