I can't see the slide editing panel correctly or completely. The top part appears "cut off" and is sometimes transparent, showing the other open windows behind.

Hi @Camille Aubépine, Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for flagging this and for sharing the screenshot, that’s really helpful.

From what you’ve described, it looks like the slide editing panel isn’t rendering correctly on your end, with the top portion appearing cut off or transparent.

To help narrow this down, could you confirm a few things for me?

  • Are you experiencing this in the Figma desktop app, the web browser, or both?
  • Which browsers have you tried?
  • Do you notice any patterns - for example, does this happen with all Slides files or just a specific one? And does it occur in both slide view and grid view, or only in one?

In the meantime, here are a few things you can try:

  • Update your browser: Make sure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome - sometimes browser updates can fix rendering issues
  • Try a hard refresh: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R to reload all assets from scratch
  • Check WebGL support: Visit https://get.webgl.org/ to ensure WebGL is supported in your browser. If you don't see the cube, follow the support site link for your browser to troubleshoot further.
  • Enable hardware acceleration: Ensure this is turned on in your browser settings

If the issue persists, it would really help if you could share a link to the affected file and grant view access to support-share@figma.com (this won’t impact your billing and will allow our team to take a closer look and try to reproduce the issue).

Appreciate your help with this, I’ll keep an eye out for your updates and continue looking into this with you.

Hi Celyn! Problem solved, it was the hardware acceleration thing. Thank you very much for your help.
