I want to hide prototype files from “Recents” forever. Is this possible? If not, can we have this feature?I never open prototypes that way. It is annoying that I need to choose “design files” in filters every time.

Hi there,I am using the Figma desktop app and on the left hand side I have all my frames in the layers section with the little collapse/expand icons next to each frame. If I expand a frame with lots of items in it and then scrolldown I can’t then collapse it again until I scroll all the way back up to the top, instead of collapsing the little arrow just selects everything in the frame. Is that normal behaviour as it is quite annoying, or have I accidently changed a setting as I am sure it didn’t used to do that.Thanks

a few hours ago I created a "swap instance" for a component but it reported a problem (warning) indicating that it was unusable or something like that. I deleted it and then I couldn't create any more. the create property option is grayed out for "instance swap" for all components while the other properties are createable. I tried to update but the problem persists.

Hi, I’m having issues with color inheritance using Figma variables/tokens. The goal is to have our icons within button components inherit the token applied on the parent component (button). The icons are subcomponents exposed as an Instance Swap within the button component, so whenever we swap icons, ideally we want the icons to inherit the token applied on button. However, the icons inherit the default token applied to the subcomponent (Icon). How do we persist the button icon token instead of overriding it?  Example setup: <> = component <Icon> vectors have token color/icon/default applied, which is Gray. <Button> has <Icon> as a subcomponent, and <Icon> is exposed as an instance property. We applied the token button/icon , which is White, to the <Icon> within <Button>

I was working on my own iOS 7 UI kit but the problem came since yesterday, when I was editing a mockup file named “iMessage”, when I switched the weight of my Helvetica Neue text to Bold,  the outlined version appears instead (but it got fixed when I reinstalled the Helvetica fonts) I then deleted then reinstalled the Helvetica Neue fonts due to these issues, which later made up a mess in my files. Then when I came to my iOS 7 mockup file, to my surprise, this happened:Everything supposed to be in the regular weight are rendered in Light Italic or Light Condensed Italic.Although the bold and light (or thin) weights seem to look fine as usual.Clicking any of these text objects changes their font weight into Light Condensed (instead of the intended Regular weight):Then I made some text using the affected font, when I switch back to regular weight (Ctrl + B), it switches to Light weight instead. Hi, I’m having trouble activating the Figma Education plan. I have tried many time to verify my account and contacted SheerID and don’t have any success. I get the following errors: From Figma: Attempting to verify shows “Verification Limit Exceeded.”I also emailed the Figma education team education@figma.com, but still have not received a responseFrom SheerID: “We were unable to process your verification request. I have a full seat with AI and Make access. I can use Figma Make and AI in Figma designer, but once I try to use AI to generate a template in FigJam, it always tells me “Looks like you’re offline - to use FigJam AI, you’ll need to reconnect.”This isn’t a connection issue. I’m online, and it works everywhere else but FigJam. Only in FigJam do I get an error saying I’m offline and can’t use the AI.  FigJam AI offline error when attempting to use AI Has anyone else run into this or have a solution? AI basically feels busted in only FigJam.

The screenshot says it all, but here is an exact problem statement in text:If I create a slot, then within that slot select an image or anything, press Command G to make it a group. I cannot change the group into a frame on the top right.  If I do this outside of a slot, I have no problem changing the group into a frame (2nd screenshot shows the regular behavior) Workaround is to Frame selection directly via right click on the layer name

The heart and +1 default stamps are showing up in the stamp wheel but do not appear when i click to stamp them, additionally previous hearts and +1 stamps left in my figjam file have disappeared

Figma MCP Server currently only binds to 127.0.0.1 which makes it unable to listen on any other interface. WSL creates a virtual interface, to which the MCP Server must be able to listen, or Claude Code cannot connect to the MCP Server. Long story short, you need to make the MCP Server configurable.  As it is now, it’s useless for Claude Code users on Windows.

I logged into figma today with both of my emails (just incase i was on the wrong one) and both are FREE accounts and have none of my previous files in them (including in trash). PLEASE HELP!! I am still getting charged for PRO and I have none of my previous work.
