Hi everyone,I am posting this here because Figma's automated billing system has wrongly charged me, and I need a cancellation and a full refund processed before these funds completely leave my bank account.I initially purchased a basic professional collab seat for myself, which rightfully cost me around $5 ($5.90 with tax) as shown in my historical May invoice in the Billing Overview screenshot. When June 4 came around, I expected a standard $5 renewal. Hi! During the opening keynote at Schema 2025 (on October 28), the Figma team announced a new left navbar as part of the updated UI, mentioning it would start rolling out the following week.It’s been a few weeks since then, and I’ve already received an app update, but I still don’t see that new sidebar.Is the rollout still in progress, or is there something I need to do to enable it? I’m running into an issue where when I go to add an image using the keyboard shortcut “Shift Command K” it doesn’t open my finder, instead, it opens a search menu that lets me navigate between Figma files. I checked the keyboard shortcuts and it looks like add image is still listed as Shift Command K. How do I stop this from happening? Is there a new keyboard shortcut for add image? I am on Mac.

I am building this component and I have made button component separately, when I try to switch sizes of button in this component, it doesnot change to any size and remain the size I have kept in this component, I have set the entire component to hug height and button component are of 3 sizes with fixed heights, but i am unable to change button size in this component through the nested property, 

I've noticed Slots keeps swapping out components when a library update occurs. I made sure there were no changes to the master components that is embed within the slot composition. As well as no changes made to the master composition where the embedded components sit within the Slot sections of the composition Is this a bug?

I have designed a UI for a device we are developing. Having selected a specific LCD with an active area of 49mm x 74mm (approx.) and a display resolution of 320 x 480 I set up a frame in Figma at 480 x 320 (LCD is portrait and we are using it in landscape mode). We are investigating using a native landscape display which has a screen resolution of 320 x 240 and an active area of 71mm x 53mm however when I adjust my 480 x 320 screens down to 320 x 240 the active area decreases. Is there a way to define the display resolution without altering the active area size? I set the original 480 x 320 screen up as a 32px x 12 column grid when changing to 320 x 240 I get a 32px x 8 column grid:Basically I w

I signed up for Figma today as a newbie, hoping to create a mock-up of a landing page for a new web app. It started well. I managed to import and existing landing page and managed to edit it with the AI functionality. However, the credits ran out quickly - I am on the basic free plan. Now I cannot find any way to edit the document in the normal editing view. I have one file and a team library. That is it. I would like to try the free editing option. I spent a long while on the chat help, which looked promising to begin with but didn’t solve the issue unfortunately.

Hi everyone,I recently received a Figma Config 2026 ticket/code, but I’m a bit confused about how and where to redeem it.The code starts in this format:CONFIG 26-XXX- XXXXXXI assume it’s meant for ticket registration or activation, but I can’t seem to find the correct redemption page anywhere on the Config website or inside my Figma account.Could anyone point me to the proper page URL or flow for redeeming these Config codes? Do you know this behaviour? You return to your file in the morning and suddenly, instances that use auto-layout changed their appearance / size since last working in the file? Sometimes they might be bigger or sometimes just only 1px wide. And the weird part is: once you double click on the component, it suddenly gets reset and everything is ok again. So it’s probably just a rendering problem…? This started 1 or 2 months ago.Newest Figma client, macOS 15.7.5The file is quite large with a lot of pages and deep nesting.Sorry, I cannot share the file and also could not take a screen recording due to sensitive data. Also it happens totally randomly, I can’t reproduce it consistently.But have you experience auto-layout hick-ups like these? Is there a way to re-render a complete file? Hi,I recently completed a research interview via Outset.ai after being invited through a popup during the Figma tutorial. I was promised a $10 incentive payment within one week, but it has now been 2–3 weeks and I still haven't received it.During the interview I did encounter a connection issue and had to reconnect after a few hours — my progress was saved. There was also a brief error screen that said "contact Figma", but when I retried the next day it worked fine and I was able to complete the session.Could someone from the research team look into this and confirm whether my payment is on its way?Thank you!

The Figma API is completely blocked (rate limit ~25h on all endpoints, including curl). There should be no restrictions, as I have an Edu subscription. Why is this happening? Is this subscription limited to the API?

Hi guys, I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. Hi everyone,I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image.But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached).I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually?Thanks in advance!

Hello,I'm having a problem with the text tool. There's a sort of line across the text block, and part of it is invisible. When I test with shorter text, there's no problem. I reopened some old drafts I made six months ago and discovered that this line is now present in the text blocks... I don't understand what's happening. Does anyone have any ideas?Here's a screenshot of my problem.  

Title should read “Open specific page in Figma Make prototype”I have a Figma Make prototype that I am using in a navigation usability test. We are testing the global nav, and people’s understanding of where they land vs where they need to go. My prototype only opens on the default page, however I need the prototype to open on a variety of pages for my test. Is it possible to have it open somewhere other than the default?

Here is my set up:Account 1 ( = email 1) team A + pro plan Account 2 ( = email 2)team B + edu plan team C + free planI need to keep those 3 types of plan (for education purposes) but i would like to consolidate my accounts and keep the 2 (bc it gives me access to the edu plan). I would like the team A to make it to the secund account. I know how to move the files BUT i feel like i can’t move the paid plan… Any ideas??

Hello everyone! this is the design team from The Apprentice Project. We deliver learning experiences to marginalised children in India through WA based conversational flows. Wanted to check on a problem we are trying to resolve. Our current workflow is that the design team creates the conversational flows in the form of a tree diagram in Figjam and our tech team creates them in Glific, a tool that creates the conversational flows for WA.Currently we can only see the final conversational experience during the testing phase of these flows. We were wondering if there is a way to simulate this conversational WA flow before it is created on Glific on Figjam itself? If anyone has tried out a hack?
