I am not able to rotate gradients when I add the swatches from the Variables, however if they are not linked to the variables there’s no issue.

I was playing around with Mirror and somehow I ended up saving a playable version on my phone.   Sadly, I don’t remember how I could have done that.   This is really handy because I can now open the app away from my desktop and see/share the Figma Flow. I think it has something to do with a Page.  ?? I just don’t remember how I did it.    😫

Hey all, I am finally getting round to trialing out Code Connect, Figma MCP and the like to see how it all works and if there are any noticeable benefits to these features for my wider team.I had some issues initially setting up, but have finally gotten to the point where I can connect them to GitHub, for testing  purposes I am using the Figma Design System and corresponding coded components. However when connected, I get this error, and I am unsure how to fix it. Has anyone come across this before, and any advice on how to resolve? Thanks!  

I deleted my account by accident and I lost important projects. I cannot do anything about it apparently but I need help… I never received an email to confirm any deletion nor any link to download data or reverse something. I am completly lost here...

Hi everyone,I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image.But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached).I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually?Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! 👋I’m currently building my portfolio site with Figma Sites (loving it so far! 🎉), but I’m running into a GDPR question.I plan to add Google Analytics for basic traffic stats — which means I technically need a cookie consent modal for GDPR compliance (I’m in the EU).As far as I can see, Figma Sites doesn’t (yet) support any built-in cookie consent options.So my questions: How are others here handling cookie consent with Figma Sites? Is there any native solution planned? Have you successfully embedded 3rd party tools like CookieYes, Osano or others? Any tips or workarounds would be super appreciated! 🙏

I everyone, I need help with figma sites.When I use Figma Site and I try to edit text in a section, for example in the header, it doesn’t automatically update in the other breakpoints, same things for pictures, they don’t update on other breakpoints. However, if I delete a section, it does get removed across all breakpoints, and the same goes for deleting a text block, it disappears everywhere.Can someone explain me what am I doing wrong please ?Thanks, Arthur

I’ve noticed uncomfortable lags when I share my screen via MS Teams and present something in Figma Desktop. It feels like fps drops drastically - from 60 to around 15-20. Mouse hover feedbacks with a noticeable delay. These lags I started notice after updating to macOS Sequoia. My setup: Macbook Pro 2021 M1 Pro with 32GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.0 External monitor HP Z27 connected via usb-c thunderbolt Figma Desktop 124.4.7 MS Teams for mac Version 24244.507.3125.3475 I started investigating to identify the root cause and so far I figured out the next: The issue is only with Figma Desktop and MS Teams mac app. If I use Figma in browser or MS Teams in browser, everything is smooth. The issue is more noticeable with UI3. When I switch back to previous UI, it works much smoother, however not perfect and smooth as without sharing. How can I restrict access to pooled AI credits? The documentation says this will be possible, but I am not seeing the option in the admin controls.We are planning to purchase additional monthly credits that would be available as a shared pool for our team. I want to allow only certain team members to use the pooled credits while keeping others limited to their normal individual credit allocations. I do not see any way to configure this in the admin controls.Is this a feature that will only become available once credit purchasing is fully rolled out? I would like to understand how to manage access before we begin paying for credits.

Is there a way to download the source code of my Figma plugin from the community?I code a plugin few years ago in my work computer,  but lose the code when I quite that job.Now I want adjust some feature of that plugin, is there a way?

I have a figma plugin which was published some months ago, I want to upload a new version for the plugin but I am unable to do it. I am trying to “Locate local version” but it shows me a development plugin instead of allowing me to “Publish a new version”. Any guess what might cause this?I tried updating the manifest to match my plugin ID and I was able to get the “Publish a new version” option and now I am getting an error I would appreciate any help. During the opening keynote at Schema 2025 (on October 28), the Figma team announced a new left navbar as part of the updated UI, mentioning it would start rolling out the following week.It’s been a few weeks since then, and I’ve already received an app update, but I still don’t see that new sidebar.Is the rollout still in progress, or is there something I need to do to enable it? We are facing an issue on Hand-Off file (Dev Mode):When we changed the token spacing name (ex: from Sm to Md) and publish DS library. The main component on Working file is updated but its instance in Dev Mode isn’t updated , the developers still see it Sm. How to deal with this problem?I don’t want to publish working file as a library. I recently upgraded my laptop to an NVIDIA 5070 (8GB model), hoping to resolve the performance issues I had with my old 3060 (4GB), which I assumed was struggling to handle Figma.Unfortunately, the upgrade hasn’t helped yet. I’ve tried enabling the High Performance GPU option for Figma in both Windows and NVIDIA settings, and I’ve explored almost every solution I could find online. At this point, I’m starting to think the issue is Figma itself.Figma has never felt like a truly smooth experience for me; there is always a choppy feeling to the app, like a bit of a "Frankenstein’s Monster." I’ve made a web-app with figma make, and was happy to see that Push to Github was an option, but I’m having issues with this feature. Whenever I made a change to code, either by ai or manual, I saw that Github didn’t recieve the updated code. I investigated som more and found out that Figma don’t understand how files from the project were being pushed.I have a root directory in github, with one folder (/src). Here, all my files from figma make lies (Public etc) What I noticed is that Figma creates two index.html files, two package.json, two vite.config.ts  on push.The original files from Make is in /scr. and another basic version gets put on the Github root.I’ve tried to figure out how to fix or work around this, but I cannot figure it out. I’ve tried moving the correct versions to Github root, but to no help. And to make it worse, they get overwritten with every push. Must be some more files not being pushed to the right location.

Hey can someone explain me how I can make the form submission actually sends out forms to services like getform or formspree? It never sends any submissions.Ive created the website via figma make.I asked the AI to make this form actually submit and didnt work. I used GPT to help me, but no. This might have messed up the code too. So Im rly lost and am not savvy in these areas at all.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to share view only files to our community pages but when users view it they can’t copy an element and paste it elsewhere?  I’m asking because I think it’d be cool to share my Figma community link with clients as a portfolio. 

We’re running into an issue with Code Connect that started last Friday.We’re currently rebuilding our Design System, and up until last week we were using Code Connect successfully to map Figma components to code in our GitHub repo.
