Quick question about the layout grid. So say I have 3 objects, I turn Auto layout on and select Grid and then set the Grid to 3x1. I go into my Grid settings and set each grid item to hug and the rows to Hug. Everything is super.Grid of 3x1But then...I think you know what? I want a 1x3 Grid! So I change it and it works great, yay!1x3 Grid!Then I’m like: “omg that is lame, I need to return to 3x1!” So I go back into the Grid property and I try to change back to 3x1 and when I try, Figma is not cooperative. Figma says nope, and sometimes it reverts to 3x3 or 3x2. And the items stay in the left column.

Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is doing good. Just used Figma make which is awsme. Do any one have idea about the limitation in Figma make prompt. Number of usage. 

Let’s discuss ‘best-practices’ and some anecdotal examples/experience in managing Design System libraries. Specifically the relationship between component and variables. Questions:For your main/core component library, do you also publishes the main/core variables in the same library? ORDo you have a dedicated Library for the components, and a separate, dedicate library for your variables? List suspected/experienced pros/cons. 

I am a freelance/remote designer and have a seat on a corporate Figma workgroup of around 8 people (marketing and developers). I create design/create components and marketing will create pages and mark for development. Our primary fonts are "Inter Tight" and "Nunito Sans". Both are Google fonts and should be supported by Figma? I am having trouble with the "Inter Tight" font. When someone on the team pulls components in and edits the content the font changes to "Inter" and messes up the formatting. I have created and uploaded text styles for all to use. Can someone explain what is going on here and walk me through steps to lock down these fonts for the group (if that's possible?). Please see attached screenshots.

I’m missing Figma Sans VF, Mono VF and Whyte. How do I install those?I’m new to figma slides. Just exploring the “How to use Figma Slides” template produced by Figma and I’m trying to follow along. I get to the text editing portion and I can’t edit any of the type. It says I need to swap typefaces. I can’t edit text unless I swap fonts because I’m missing the used fonts. If I change the font, I can edit. I’d like to correct this issue and have figma’s default fonts installed, however, I can’t seem to locate them or any mention of them on the Figma help, learn, or community support sites. Why wouldn’t they be installed with the desktop application, and how do I install them?Software:Figma Desktop App v126.1.2Windows 11

The interface changed this morning, and there used to be a navigation on the top and you can click through different pages of the website in design mode, and preview/make changes. It now disappeared! Help please, how do I preview different pages now?

I want to be billed for only 1 seat but the invoice shows more seats. I have  already removed other users but is still being billed for multiple seats. I am seeking clarification and resolution to only pay for 1 seat. I want to update my existing invoice to just 1 seat not 2. 

I’m trying to map a Figma Site to the subdomain cook.tastemade.com. The DNS records are properly configured, but I get the below Error 1000 when trying to access the site. The custom domain status says “Awaiting certificates” in Figma even though it has been several days. 

I have been having this issue since 2 months ago. Everytime I attempt to open Figma Mobile App and sign up/log in…..it redirects me to this pop up saying “Update or Switch Browsers….Figma requires Chrome 99+, Firefox 101+, etc”. I have been doing these WITH NO avails:Re-Installing Figma Clearing Figma & Chrome cache Installing newest vers of Firefox & Microsoft Edge for the sake of merely logging in Logging out from Figma Desktop app etc etcBtw, my device specification as for now:Samsung  - OS Android 16 Chrome 145  

Hello,I’m trying to  build a repsonsive barchart with bars and a XY axis labels like this: To make the bars overlap the graph labels and dotted lines I have the bars as a fixed position.What I cant do is make this responsive. When stretched the fixed postion bars do not respond to the new width. So it looks like this: Fixed bar positionIs there a way to have the Y value of the bars fixed but have the width fill?

I want to delete only the “IU ORANGE” but somehow I can’t right click, does anyone has any advice? 

Hi! I'm doing some Figma illustrations and need to print them so I'm transferring them over to Illustrator. Is there a way to export the new "texture" feature as vector? I've tried: flattening, outlining the stroke, exporting as SVG/PDF, but nothing's working. Hope someone can help (and apologies if this has already been asked and I missed it) 🙏🏻

Hi guys, I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. It’s been taking almost £22 from my account monthly - no matter what I do.Many thanks.Abe

Figma Make has the ability to allow users to make unique pages. I’ve used this in several projects. When I duplicated project, the function disappears from the top toolbar. Why is this? How do I get it back?  

Hi! I manage a team of designers with the professional plan.I’m aware that starting March 18th, a limit will be enforced for the use of AI credits. What does this mean?- Will my users no longer be able to use AI credit-consuming features until the monthly reset?or- Will they be able to use more AI credits than expected, which will then be billed at the end of the month? If so, is there a way to prevent this and limit credit usage?

I’m trying to understand how to help my designers produce Figma Make files that use our design system components and standards.If we were to enable Figma MCP server for my org, would that allow designers to constrain Figma Make to only use our design system?Or would we need to use an npm package or Make Kits for that?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to implement a tab-based navigation layout in Figma Sites below my hero section. I created the tabs in Design Library with component variants for active states and enabled them in my Figma Sites, but I'm struggling to make each tab link to and display its specific content section.Currently, the variants change visually, but they don't dynamically switch the corresponding content for each tab.What is the best way to implement a working tab structure in Figma Sites so that each tab loads its respective content when clicked? Is there a recommended approach using anchors, components, or another workaround?Would appreciate any guidance from anyone who has implemented tabs successfully in Figma Sites. Thanks!

I have never met a Figma branch conflict that I could resolve 😥 Not one.I’ve read all of the relevant help center articles (including this potentially outdated one that focuses on conflicts) and I’ve watched video tutorials, but none of them provide enough information. I understand what conflicts are and why they need to be resolved, I’ve done it in other programs, but I can’t figure out Figma’s particular UI for this process.I need help understanding this window: Is anyone aware of... anything anywhere tha

If the team owner is no longer employed and the associated company email address has been permanently deactivated, what documentation would Figma Support require to authorize an ownership reassignment?

How can I restrict access to pooled AI credits? The documentation says this will be possible, but I am not seeing the option in the admin controls.We are planning to purchase additional monthly credits that would be available as a shared pool for our team. I want to allow only certain team members to use the pooled credits while keeping others limited to their normal individual credit allocations. I do not see any way to configure this in the admin controls.Is this a feature that will only become available once credit purchasing is fully rolled out? I would like to understand how to manage access before we begin paying for credits.

Hey everyone,This has been driving me (and apparently hundreds of others) crazy since 2021: there is STILL no native way to properly move or duplicate an entire page from one Figma file to another.Copy-paste or “Select All” destroys page background/grid/rulers, breaks prototypes, loses comments, turns library styles into local duplicates, and forgets locked/hidden layers. Duplicating the whole file then deleting pages is the only “workaround” — but it’s a nightmare with 50+ page files or design systems.I’m a fellow designer who’s fed up and seriously considering building a free Figma plugin called PagePort that would let you:Export any page (or batch multiple pages) with 100% fidelity (layers, auto-layout, constraints, page props, prototypes where possible) Import into any other open file in one click Choose Move (delete from source) or Copy Smart remapping for styles/variables/libraries + basic prototype r

So I had a Site already made (I’m the owner) and then I upgraded to an Education plan courtesy of my college. Suddenly I lost access to the editing features of the site? The Site had already been shared with my group members and they can’t edit either.I checked, and I’m still the owner of the file and all of my group members have “can edit” by their name. However, all of us have exclaimation marks by our names with the popup “An admin needs to update your seat so you can edit”. Am I not automatically an admin as an owner? I went into the admin settings on my project and there’s no way for me to grant myself edit access either. Frankly, this is ridiculous and poor design on Figma’s part.
