Why are the "Save to version history" and "Show version history" options disabled in Figma Make, even on a paid account?

I’m experiencing slow loading times when previewing my website designs on mobile, especially when using the Figma mobile app or opening shared prototype links. The desktop preview works fine, but on mobile the pages take several seconds to load, and sometimes interactions lag or don’t respond smoothly. I’ve checked my device, internet connection, and file size, but the issue still appears. I’m wondering if this is a common problem or something related to my setup. Has anyone found a reliable fix or optimization method to improve mobile preview performance?

Hello! I have a monthly FULL professional subscription to Figma, and we are working on a project where I am the owner with a full position, another person has a full position, and another has a Dev position. Since I am hardly editing the project, I switched to the ‘view’ position, and today the Dev told me that she has not been able to access the project. Is that why I changed my position? Does the fact that I am the project owner affect my change of role? 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to verify for the Figma Education plan and I’m stuck: the verification flow shows:“Verification Limit Exceeded… you’ve already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”But my Figma account still shows I’m not verified, and I can’t proceed. I believe a failed attempt got counted and now I’m locked out. I’m a student and used my school email domain (happy to share the exact account/email privately with a Figma staff member). I contacted SheerID and my support request was closed without a reset, so I’m not sure what the next step is.Does anyone know how to reset verification attempts / clear the lock, or how to get a manual review from Figma support? I can provide screenshots and account details privately if a moderator/staff can escalate.Thanks!

Hi, I have been using Figma Make, and I used to be able to see the code of the files in <> Code tab and edit the files, but one day I clicked something and i can no longer see the contents of the files just the file names. I would like to be able to see the code and edit, hoping someone can help. I am sure its a quick fix, unless others have experienced similar situations. 

Hey there, I hope this one isn’t too obvious but I am finding myself very stuck.What I am trying to do, is set up my file so that when I am hovering over an image situated on the left, a different image will appear next to it on the right, and when no longer hovering on the original image, the image on the left would disappear. This is a scrolling page, so would hope that both images would scroll up and down with the page. Thank you!

Is there any way I can make this Dynamic Pattern?It starts with Bigger Dots and Ends with Smaller Dots or Vice Versa. I have made this so far..

Figma - Customer Component Library - 31 December 2025 - Watch VideoI’m struggling to figure out why this heading element is hiding properly in the main component, but will not collapse in the component instance. We are successful in accessing the figma remote MCP exposed at "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp" via OAuth based access via browser SSO login. We are exploring ways to automate figma MCP access in a headless mode so would like to understand passing PAT token for remote MCP authentication. We tried passing PAT in Auth headers and X-Figma-Token header but get unauthorized for remote MCP at this endpoint "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp". Hi. I made a project on Figma Make. It works well, but there is an issue with design. There is design difference between Make Preview and Published URL.This how project looks like on Preview and this is how it should be. And this is how it looks like on Published URL. There is a big desing difference. Like it reads a different css file. How can I solve this big problem. Published URL is: https://note.roxet.com/

I changed my email from personal to work when I worked for the company. I want to change my email back from work to personal. It does not work because it has already been used. How do I switch back to the same personal email?

Figma just hit me with surprise charges and won't refund - anyone else?Ugh, I'm so frustrated right now. Figma basically scammed me out of $33.87 and their support is being useless about it.What went down: We're a tiny team, only need 2 seats. But somehow our June bill had these random "new seat costs" for $33.87 that I never asked for. Like... what?The breakdown:2 Full seats (what we actually use): $40 ✓ Mystery charges: $33.87 ❌Figma's excuse: "Oh you approved it!" - umm no I didn't? When?? Where's the proof?Apparently when you change seat types, they hit you with "prorated charges" on your NEXT bill. Who tf knows what that even means? Need way to use same component library across projects with different color schemesDescription:I’ve built a component library file in Figma that includes buttons, inputs, cards, labels, etc. This library will be used in multiple upcoming projects.The goal is simple:Use the same components from the shared library in all projects, but apply a different color scheme (branding) for each project — e.g., Project A → Red theme Project B → Green theme Project C → Blue theme ...and so on. I built the entire component library using variables (for colors) and published it. I’m wanting to flatten my image that uses a mask, into a single image, that I can then apply strokes to etc.  When I flatten tho, the lines go outside the image. I can’t seem to do a stroke on the masked image either though (cause 1. I want stroke outside and 2. it messes with the line colors too!)

I really need help figuring out how to turn on AI in my Figma account!I’m a paid full-seat user, and the account owner (my boss) has enabled AI. Hi,I have a major issue with the font Inter not rendering the proper weight in Figma.The problemFigma’s Inter Medium displays as Inter Regular. Here’s my case:I have deinstalled my Inter font locally, and reinstalled the latest Inter version (4.1). Only the weights regular, medium, semibold and bold.Next, I checked the Google fonts Inter font, and checked regular and medium weights with a custom typed sentence. I duplicated this message in Figma with my ‘new’ Inter font. Me and my product team clearly define Inter Medium in Figma, to be Inter Regular. Inter Medium in development, google fonts & even font book clearly look much bolder. I figured that Figma must render it the wrong way, since the other sources match.
