Hello,I am looking to create a good hero section for my site, where it should take the height of browser in the first fold. The subsequent sections can be of fixed heights based on content. I need something like 100vh to have for my hero section.

Hello Figma,I use Figma Motion because it’s easy to make a basic motion without export many files. For the context, i make a 20 seconds timer with animation at the beggining and the end of animation. The start and end animations each last 1 second with 0.5 seconds of blank before or after. But i have a mysterious problem, i would like export to GIF because it’s the only format who accept transparent background. But when i export a 30 seconds motion in GIF ( 1080p / 30fps / x1 / Loop doesn’t matter ) , the GIF last 28 seconds. And when i see the GIF, i see my timer of 20 seconds is 2 seconds shorter like it’s more speedy than the timeline show.I test with MP4 ou WEBM, exports last well 30 seconds. And the antoher GIFs i made with Figma Motion are shorter than MP4 or WEBM export. ( Timeline show 13 secondes, but the export takes 11 seconds. )Can you fix this problem ? Thank you !( If I could make a suggestion, it would be to be able to create a key image for text editing, because doing 13 laye

I’m experiencing a serious issue that appears to affect only one specific Figma Design file. The file still opens, but its internal state/UI appears to be broken.Current symptoms:Some elements/content disappeared. The normal Layers/folder structure is missing or displayed incorrectly. When selecting elements, some normal position/coordinate information and properties are unavailable. Figma AI Agent no longer works correctly in this file. Restarting Figma and restarting my Mac does not fix the issue. Another member of my team opened the same original file and sees the same problems. The most important diagnostic detail:If I duplicate this exact file, the duplicated version works normally. The problem exists only in the original file. The issue has now become even more serious: I can no longer share the affected original file with anyone. I’m unable to grant access to another person or to the Figma Support email address.I already created an official Figma Support case: #2159948.I initially

I’m in trouble trying to disconnect from a previous GitHub account in Agents (connectors) to connect to a new one. I’ve tried to disconnect and reconnect, but when I run the prompt, it says I don’t have access to the repository because I’m connected with the first account.Support ID: srid_1SDQK5XEW8RPDVBHT8WCYW00V

Hi - I need to use Code Connect CLI to properly map our codebase, and I would like to be able to set instructions for the MCP to ensure the agent asks the user about certain details like aria labels and functionality requirements and to suggest values to confirm with the user. However, the Add Instructions to MCP button disappears when I use the CLI mappings, and Claude claims that it’s not possible to add MCP instructions through the CLI. Is this true? If so, it would be very helpful if I could set MCP instructions on a per-component basis through the CLI.

Subject: Feature Request: Show Variable Usage Count Hello Figma Team 👋,I have a small suggestion that could improve designers' productivity. Please add a usage count for each Variable (Design Token) in the Variables panel. This would show how many times a variable is being used, so designers can quickly understand which variables are in use and which are not. This would help with:Finding unused variables Cleaning up design systems Avoiding accidental deletion of used variables Saving time when managing tokensI'm attaching a screenshot for reference.I would be happy if you could reply to my feedback.Thank you, and Happy Figma! 🎨✨Zahid

I’m creating a new variant for a wordmark lockup. Changing the color variable applied to the vector that comprises the wordmark itself does 2 things it shouldn’t: it resizes the vector and it skews the vector. Aspect ratio lock is not turned on for the wordmark vector, but I have made zero size/scale changes; I have only changed the color. This makes zero sense.

Hi there everyone,The tab bar has been annoying me for a long time now and I was wondering why it won't get fixed. Currently, if you have a lot of tabs open (don't tell me I shouldn't do that, I know I can handle it, don't worry about me), you cannot really navigate through them because scrolling is not possible, grouping is not a thing and the tab button on the right shows some magic order of the tabs which is not the same order they are shown in the regular tab bar.May I suggest a few improvements?Make the tab bar scrollable, seems like an easy and quick fix, a lot of apps do this these days. Make grouping possible (with expanding/collapsing), a lot of apps do this too. Make the order of the tabs after clicking the tab button match the order of the files (left to right should be top to bottom).I noticed that a lot of people have already requested this in a way, and all of those topics seem to have been closed. Please fix this issue for us power users (that actually do remember where

Hello! There used to be an awesome feature in Figma—the prompt history—that allowed you to see all the prompts and easily return to them. Now it’s gone, and we’re all quite upset: we lose context, it’s hard to repeat solutions, and work efficiently. Please bring back this capability or suggest an alternative. Thank you!

Dear Support Team,My name is 여정연, and I have been successfully using Figma with a student verification account. However, when I tried to re-verify my student status, I keep encountering the "Figma Education Verification Limit Exceeded" error, which has locked me out of my account for several days.I am currently an active student at Kaywon University in South Korea and have already submitted my tuition receipt as proof. Despite this, the same error persists, and I cannot access my workspace. This email account (dkdus1358@naver.com) contains many important projects, and this is a critical period for my studies, making this issue a massive setback for me. I have already reached out to SheerID support multiple times, but I keep receiving automated responses without any actual resolution. Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.Thank you,

Hello everyone,I am facing a persistent login issue with Figma Weave that completely blocks me from accessing the tool.Steps to reproduce:I go to the Figma Weave welcome/login screen. I click the "Log in with Figma" button. The page turns dark and gets stuck on a loading spinner for a while. Eventually, it redirects me back to the login screen with a red error banner at the top: "Email/password login isn't available. Please sign in with Google or Microsoft." Important details:I cannot use the other two options (Google or Microsoft login) because this is my Figma Education plan student account, meaning I must authenticate strictly through my Figma identity. The error appears even though I am not trying to enter an email/password manually; it triggers automatically after the Figma redirect loop. I have already uploaded the screenshot showing the error page. Has anyone else encountered this with student accounts, or is there a known workaround? Thanks in advance for any help!

I have wasted a good three or four hours venturing with code components for the first time for Figma Sites. I would dare ask anyone to recreate the following two code components:A dark mode / light mode switch in the hope that Figma site should be able to “switch” therefore from Dark to Light Mode according to the tokens/ variable modes.   An animated header as code component, a simple animated header that can be placed anywhere on canvas, with height set to hug to contents, width dynamic to accommodate the text input, and with obviously - a text input published parameter alongside simple animation settings. And see how much hallucinations, refusal galore(s) in return. I am simply losing hope in Figma AI in general.

Hi Figma Support team,We've found a problem on macOS with the Figma desktop app installed. Clicking a figma.com link inside another Electron app does nothing. This happens to only certain urls of figma not all the urls, and this happens in our own app (Setmore) and also in Slack, so it isn't limited to one app. We think it involves how the Figma desktop app handles links that macOS passes to it.EnvironmentmacOS: 27.0 (26A428) , M2Figma desktop app: latest 126.9.10Apps tested: Setmore desktop app (Electron) and Slack desktop app (Electron)Steps to reproduceInstall the Figma desktop app on macOS.Share a Figma prototype link in an Electron app (Setmore or Slack), for example: https://www.figma.com/proto/<file-key>/...?node-id=...&page-id=...&desktop-link-click-timestamp=...&desktop-ul-exp-bucket=...Click the link.example link that failed for us : https://www.figma.com/proto/b3jKH9qbvcDUlvuatYlJGz/SF-MegaNav---Footer?page-id=0%3A1&node-id=96-2287&viewport=-863%2C9

I recently ran into an issue with file permissions after organizing my workspace, and I need help finding a solution. The issue: Previously, all my files were accessible to my entire team with "Can edit" permissions. After organizing these files into folders/projects last week, multiple files automatically changed their sharing status to "Invited to the file", causing team members to lose their expected access. The blockers: No bulk permission editing: There is no way to select multiple files at once and update their sharing settings in batch. Permissions do not cascade: Updating the sharing permissions at the parent folder/project level does not apply to or override the individual permissions of the files inside. Having to manually open and update the share modal for dozens of individual files is not feasible. Is there a way to force files to inherit folder-level permissions, or any workaround to reset permissions in bulk?Thank you!

Every time the content of the red block appears, I have to deduct the points again😭😭

When I am bulk creating my components, I found out that the auto layout did not automatically adjust according to the content. I double checked my original design and tried to adjust the content in my orginal design, eveything works fine.

I have noticed that when I am on longer sessions in Figma Make, the chat window content will blink/flicker after it completes it’s response.  This often blinks a dozen times or so and I cannot read the output until it is done.  It appears this may have something to do with the length of the session as the issue gets worse over time and goes away if I start a fresh chat.

Hi there, I’m troubleshooting building a suite of evergreen ad campaign assets in Buzz. The only things that should ever need to change are the copy for my offer and the brand logo featured. As I poured over the assets from a prebuilt library, I’m noticing that some of the title copy (that will never need to be edited) has differentiated itself in the bulk edit spreadsheet, in spite of being identical to its siblings.  The right-hand column “flash offer” randoms should be living in the column to the left.It doesn’t look like there’s a way for me to brute-force this by pasting them into the proper column. What could I have done wrong to make them separate like this, and how can I avoid it as I try to build this suite for my team? There are quite a few assets with this issue and I’d like to fix it entirely rather than just hide both columns. TIA

File-level permissions within shared foldersThe new nested folder structure is great, but there’s a massive (& massively frustrating) permissions gap: it seems file permissions can’t be more restrictive than the permissions inherited from the parent folder. Our team has edit access to a shared folder, so every file within that folder is editable by the entire team and ppl can add folders & files as needed. There’s currently no way to make an individual file view-only without moving it outside of the shared folder structure. This is a critical use case for master files, templates, brand guidelines & other source-of-truth files. These need to live alongside working files and be accessible to the broader team, but should be protected from accidental edits. It’s essential to support file-level permission overrides that can restrict access below the parent folder level to a nested folder or individual file (Folder = Edit access → File = View-only)Being able to share a folder broad

Hi! Posting to see if there are there any plans to let Buzz Mode users do the following:Change their workspace background color from the default light grey We’ve made some editable assets that need to have white text, so it’s pretty hard for people to read white on the light grey background. Edit text sizes We have many use cases where we’d like to let marketers manually adjust text to approved sizes by themselves without having to be involved each time their text flows outside the text box and disappears.

I really need adaptive font sizing for text inside fixed-size text boxes, especially for Buzz. Here’s the use case:We create a creative for social media. We then create multiple sizes of that creative using auto-layout, constraints, etc. After that, we generate Bulk Create versions in different languages. The challenge is that text length varies significantly between languages - for example, French is often much longer, while Japanese can be much more compact. It would be incredibly helpful if the font size could automatically adapt to fit the fixed text box, similar to how text behaves in PowerPoint or Keynote. This feature would save a huge amount of time and effort, especially when working with multi-language creatives at scale. I believe many teams would benefit from this. Thanks in advance — really looking forward to this improvement. 🙂

Feature request: Selectively expose deeply nested instance propertiesAllow component authors to expose properties from a deeply nested instance—such as an Icon inside an Icon-circle—without also exposing the intermediate Icon-circle instance. This would keep components linked and updateable while making the instance properties panel cleaner and easier to use.

I’d love for the pages within a file to each have version history, same as the whole file does. We use 50+ pages in one file and it’s disappointing to not be able to see what/when last made changes were created in a specific page, and it’s impossible to know or see what changed in the file version history. Separate files for each thing would create a huge library, so our team uses one single file as source of truth and create pages within each section. Page version history would help us see what is outdated and who made any last changes per page.
