Our last typography update touched 14 different CSS files. Three of them broke the production build because a developer missed a tiny change to headingXl. We had changed the line height in Figma from 120% to 110%. The manual handoff process was completely failing us.I got so annoyed tracking down these mismatches that I built a tiny workflow tool to fix it. We actually deleted our entire #design-qa Slack channel because Figma variables now just export directly to GitHub PRs automatically.Figma Community: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1561389071519901700?utm_source=figma-forum&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=botWebsite: https://ds-sync.netlify.app?utm_source=figma-forum&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=botHow is everyone else handling token name changes without breaking developer pipelines?

Hello Figma Support Team,I would like to request a full refund for an unexpected charge of $13.20 USD.About a month ago, I subscribed to Figma for approximately $5 per month. However, when I checked my billing information, I noticed that my next payment was scheduled to be over $30, which was significantly higher than the price I originally signed up for.Since I never agreed to pay such a high amount, I canceled my subscription to prevent any further charges.Despite canceling my subscription, I was unexpectedly charged $13.20 USD.I find this billing situation confusing and frustrating, as I did not intend to continue using the paid plan at this price.I am requesting the following:A full refund of the unexpected $13.20 charge. Confirmation that my subscription has been successfully canceled. Confirmation that no further charges will be made to my account.Billing Details:Team: Yujin Song's team Amount: $13.20 USD Billing Period: September 9 – October 9, 2026I would appreciate your assist

Hello,I have been a digital teacher with an education account (redacted by the moderator due to PII) for several years. The institution where I teach (Cifacom.com) is changing email providers this year and moving from Google (Gmail) to Microsoft (Outlook). How should I proceed so that my second-year students, whom I will see again on 10/5 for their third year, can continue to use their Figma accounts, and without losing the work they have already done in the second year?Best regards, Marc MannevY

Hi all,I'm currently designing an interactive desktop operations dashboard for an enterprise access control system and trying to build an authentic usability testing prototype in Figma. In our design, operators monitor hundreds of physical access doors and need to run simulated badge-scan overrides. I'm using Figma Variables and conditional logic on an interactive door card component, but I'm running into an issue with state reset timing:When an operator clicks Simulate Access Granted, the door status variable changes from Idle (Secured) → Unlocked / Door Open for 3 seconds. After a 3-second delay, the variable needs to evaluate whether a Hold Open toggle is active. If false, it should automatically revert back to Idle (Secured). If an operator triggers a global Emergency Lockdown, all individual door status variables across the canvas should immediately override to Forced Locked, ignoring local timer delays.Currently, chaining After delay interactions inside nested component variants s

Hi Figma team,I work in Figma with Claude through the Figma MCP server. While the agent works in my file, it shows up in the avatar list as “Third-party agent”. The avatar used to be a robot icon, and now it shows the Claude logo. The Claude logo is clearer than the robot icon. Still, I’d like some control over this, because I often share files with teammates and stakeholders who see these avatars too.It would help a lot if we could:choose the avatar or icon an agent uses in a file, or at least pick from a few neutral options rename the agent (for example “Design assistant” instead of “Third-party agent”) set this per team or per file, so everyone sees the same thingRight now I couldn’t find any setting for this in the app or in the MCP documentation. Thanks!

Is there a way to turn off the AI chrome when sharing the prototype in "Make"? When sharing in the prototype view, I was expecting it to just share the screens but when I shared the link, it showed the make file with the AI chrome. Is this a big? Or will this be an enhancement?

I’m trying to share a Figma Make prototype for user testing. It needs to be available for anyone to view and the full screen version without the prompt on left side.I’ve tried multiple versions and tested within Google Incognito to confirm it will work for any user and so far three things have happened:Login required page displayed Loading screen displayed but never generates prototype Error displayed saying “live preview not available.”Two processes I’ve already tried:Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > click “copy link” Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > copy link directly from address bar. Anyone have a fix for this?

Hi I'd like to check whether the following behavior is expected on an Education plan team.SetupOur organization is a bootcamp and has been verified for the Education plan. We have a team on the Education plan. All accounts/members show "Verified" under Education status in the People tab, and there are 0 unverified users. Inside the team, I created a folder and put files in it (both Figma Design and FigJam files). The team has "can edit" access to the team and folder ("Anyone in [team name] can edit"). On the file's Share dialog, the team also shows "can edit".What I expectedSince edit permission is set at the team, folder, and file level, and every member is verified, I expected any member to be able to directly edit a file created by someone else and edit it right away. What actually happensWhen a member (not the file creator) opens the file that others created, a banner says "You can only view and comment on this file." with a "Start editing" button. The members are signed in with th

Why on top of nothing, were 50,000 won being charged all of a sudden?(Exactly 52,903 won)Please refund. Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a bug that completely breaks page scrolling when the prototype content is set to “Responsive”. There is basically no way to scroll down. I tested multiple prototypes that were working correctly before. I’m on the version 126.9.10 and reloaded the tabs.  Please look into this issue, as it makes prototypes unusable at this point. Thanks

To repeat the issue, create a form and remove fill and any other style it has, then click elsewhere, now try to select it by clicking and draging, and it won’t be selected like the software doesn’t see it, while it style exist and you can see on the layer panel,And that is an issue that should be fixed.

I have several components from a published Figma library that are permanently stuck in Review Updates. For example, one icon (Support) shows 25 instances requiring an update. Review Updates shows “Preview unavailable” for both the current and updated versions. Clicking Update/Update all appears to work, but the exact same update immediately returns.I’ve already tried Repair Component Connections and rebuilding connections.I also investigated the file using Figma Agent. It identified the exact 25-instance cohort (Home Topbar → Buttons Icon → Support) and confirmed that all component IDs, keys, instance-swap properties, variables, overrides, and parent components resolve correctly. No broken or stale references are visible in the document graph. As a test, I completely removed the affected nested dependency from the source component and published the library again. The same 25-instance update still remained. Two other components (Info and Text Field Single Line) are now exhibiting the same

I used a code instance from Figma Make in figma sites for my website but when i publish the site it doesn't show up. It shows on preview but not when published.

So, I have a component with video layer, then an instance of a button to control the play pause. It works in the master component but not in children.I’m noticing lots of users struggling with this and seen had written similar topics but had no replies. What I’m asking is, that along with other similar sort of bugs/issues is there timelines to get these sorted?I’m having to create two versions of the same variant, one with and one without autoplay, which seems a bit unnecessary when the prototype controls already offer a play/pause, but for non-components.

I am verified for the education plan but can not access any of it’s features.  My plan still shows free next to my team.  This is creating access issues for my program. I have sent a request to SheerID, but have received zero response.  The information provided in these forums are not helpful at all.I have tried following all the steps and still have not been able to access the program correctly.

As I was looking for a way to do this natively in Figma, I came across this concept article on Medium. In the article, Андрей Насонов (Andrey Nasonov) describes adding the option to choose alignment in the image settings beyond the default centered. This would be a simple but huge improvement to image settings, especially for responsive design. Here’s his example of how that might look on the Properties Panel for images: If anyone has found any way to work around this other than individually cropping images for different container widths, pls hmu! 🙏

Hi all! I kept seeing the same image-fill requests here on the forum (anchoring, bulk swapping, consistent crops, getting the CSS out), so I built a small set of plugins for them. Full disclosure: they're mine, and they're paid (one-time).- Image Anchor: pin an image fill to any edge, corner or focal point, like CSS object-position, and re-align it after a resize. https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1689393299581273475- Bulk Image Swap: replace the images in many layers at once, in the order you pick them or by file name, keeping each layer's size and crop. https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1689391431052577150- Batch Aspect Crop: give many image layers one aspect ratio (1:1, 4:3, 16:9 or custom), cropped around the point you choose instead of stretched. https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1689384234670276965- Image CSS Export: copy object-fit, object-position and aspect-ratio for selected image layers as CSS or Tailwind. https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/168938909677250

If I have a team with some members not spending their Make credits, I want to commandeer those as an admin. Or even better, I’d like an admin setting to put the sum of all the credits for our full seats into one shared bucket.

I am in a subscription on Figma make. I notice I can no longer see the save button on the left side  by the AI chat window which also showed the files you amended. It usually list the amended files and an undo button to cancel all the changes in that file. Also in the top menu its greyed out. What’s going on? Screenshot attached

Is there anyway to bring back the black background for the figma icon?

Setting durations, easing curves, delays, especially for Smart Animate animations are essential tools when making presentations in Figma in order to make fluid ‘Keynote-like’ transitions. Unfortunately these are completely absent in Figma Slides at the moment, making it pretty much useless to our team. We will keep making our presentations in Figma Design and linking everything by hand🥲 until these crucial settings are implemented in Figma Slides…

The announcement of Figma Motion had me excited, but right now it feels like a more advanced prototyping mode. I understand that it’s still in Beta mode and I hope in the future it will actually be usable for integrating motion in a design system.Animation between statesIf I take a button from our brands design system, it would be very helpful to be able to keyframe states and variants. Maybe take a page from Rive’s book and add something like a State Machine.Text animationText animation is non-existent at the moment. If we want to create an animation of text being typed I’m not sure how we achieve this.TokenizationWhen exporting JSON, there are no tokens visible in the JSON file, it’s just raw values.Preset AnimationsThe preset animations are nice and all, but it would help immensely to be able to make a library of our own animations, so we can quickly build out motion components.Styles/ChoreographiesSimilar to how you can add multiple values to a typography and apply it as a style (c

Hello:Today I subscribed to a monthly premium subscription and then invited a user to my team.As a newbie, I didn't understand Figma's subscription rules, so I set both users to Full, then set one user to Dev and the other to Collab. When I checked my bill, I was surprised to find that in addition to the $20 I paid for the subscription, I was also charged $40 next month. I was shocked, as I only have two users; one should be on a Full subscription and the other on a Dev subscription. I immediately corrected the user types, but I was still charged $40 next month. Therefore, I immediately canceled my subscription for next month, fearing other unexpected charges.Actually, besides the $20 I paid for the subscription, I should only be paying for the Dev subscription next month, so next month's bill should be $15. Please help me fix my bill.My account email is yginuoemail@gmail.comThank you!
