Video Controls in Components

So, I have a component with video layer, then an instance of a button to control the play pause. It works in the master component but not in children.

I’m noticing lots of users struggling with this and seen had written similar topics but had no replies. What I’m asking is, that along with other similar sort of bugs/issues is there timelines to get these sorted?

I’m having to create two versions of the same variant, one with and one without autoplay, which seems a bit unnecessary when the prototype controls already offer a play/pause, but for non-components.
