I’m trying to share a Figma Make prototype for user testing. It needs to be available for anyone to view and the full screen version without the prompt on left side.

I’ve tried multiple versions and tested within Google Incognito to confirm it will work for any user and so far three things have happened:

  1. Login required page displayed
  2. Loading screen displayed but never generates prototype
  3. Error displayed saying “live preview not available.”

Two processes I’ve already tried:

  1. Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > click “copy link”
  2. Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > copy link directly from address bar.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Hi @noah smith,

I understand you're trying to share a functional Figma Make prototype for user testing without requiring viewers to log in.

For this use case, you might want to try publishing your Figma Make file instead of using the share link.

When you publish your prototype, it gets its own dedicated public URL that anyone can access without logging in. The published version also won't show the AI chat interface.

A few additional options you can explore:

  • You can enable "Exclude all pages from search engine results" to keep it private from search engines
  • If you're on Organization or Enterprise plans, you can add password protection for extra security

You can find more details here: Publish, update, or unpublish a functional prototype or web app

Thanks!
