Last year, we had two Full Figma seats. However, later on last year, a user with Full Figma seat was removed from the team. It looks like we missed the announcement of the new billing model, so this year we have to pay for two Full Figma seats with one "Available" seat. This is very unexpected. Besides, after looking around in the Admin page, we can't seem to find anywhere we could adjust the number of Paid seats. Everywhere there's a "Manage" button, we're led back to the People page, where it's only information. We may need to contact Support for further assistant, but may I ask what the problem it is? Is it because we missed a note where we could select to keep the “Available" seat or not, or is there any misunderstanding?
As per this discussion - How to disable 'observe' mode - #5 by Dave2 - I think it would be useful to be able to turn off ‘observe mode’. It is very annoying being watched while I work, unless I specifically am trying to share/demonstrate something. It is the digital version of someone looking over your shoulder. I dont want to have to remove people’s permissions from the file just to stop them digitally stalking me.
Hello everyone, I need help solving a problem. I created an adaptive button using variants and connected them with “On Click.” I need the overlay with the message “Item added to wishlist” to appear when clicking the “+” button, and at the same time, the “➕” should change to “✔️.” However, this doesn’t work as expected. I understand that the issue is that the button can’t respond to two different triggers at the same time, but I don’t know how to solve this problem Here’s the link to the video
I need to switch from a Professional Plan to Organization Plan in order to use the branching feature for a client that likes to snoop. I only need the Organization Plan for about six months, which is the duration of the contract. Typically my projects don’t require branching. I see that the Professional Plan is billed monthly and the Organization Plan is billed annually. So, I’m out $960 even though I only need it for half the year. And please, for the love of all that is good and holy, If you are going to have a plan bill annually, don’t show the pricing breakdown by month: https://www.figma.com/pricing/ Anyho, long story short (and this is probably a no), can we buy features month to month?
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on testing interactions in my Figma prototypes and was looking into automation tools to streamline the process. I wanted to try using Cypress for testing, but I’ve been having trouble getting it to work properly on iOS environments. Some scripts don’t seem to execute as expected, and I’m not sure if it’s a compatibility issue or a setup problem. I came across this Cypress iOS repository that seems to provide useful resources, but I’m not sure how well it integrates with Figma workflows. Has anyone tried using Cypress for testing Figma prototypes, particularly on iOS? Are there any workarounds or better alternatives for automation? Would love to hear any insights from those who have tackled similar issues!

Have you ever sent over a design file for feedback to open it a week later with 40+ comments? I have and I’m sure you have too. The problem It takes a lot of time to review comments after a feedback round. It can get repetitive and sometimes the feedback can mean the same thing but being written differently. If you have a lot of different commenters, the list becomes long and tedious to go through. The solution One button to summarise comments that will produce out a summary and propose the next steps. Each summary should include links to the root comment so the user can review the original comment. The summary could be in a tab in the comments panel where you can toggle between original comments and summary to easily go back and forth.
Is it possible to have a free Figma Design Seat account to edit projects for how many days? As a company, we have several Figma licenses, but we need to share projects with external parties who need to edit these projects. Is it possible for them to edit for free for a few days, or will we have to assign them a Full Seat license? Thanks
Hello. I am somewhat new to Figma but would love to incorporate this animation into my prototype. I need an object (a block of text) to become smaller only when the user pushes and holds another button on the interface. So to begin, the screen is static with some text and a button, then the user presses the button and the object (text) begins to shrink. Then, when the user releases the button another screen is triggered. Is this possible? If so, I haven’t been able to figure it out. I apologize if this is easy and a waste of everyone’s time. It’s not like the usual animations people create so I’ve had a hard time figuring it out.
I bought my first seat paying annually, then I bought two more seats in succession. I’m being charged monthly for them, but want to be charged annually. It vaguely seems like this might happen automatically at the start of the next month?? I’m not sure because the help is unclear.
I created this form field. I want the field length to be adjustable, while keeping the button the same size and at the end. However, when I resize the field, one of two things will happen: Button stays the same size, but doesn’t move to be at the end of the field. Button moves, but changes size. How should the component be set so that the button has a fixed size but dynamic position?
Hello, One of my professional accounts finally has Figma AI access again, and after some usage, I have a few questions about its capabilities, and would appreciate some guidance, as I do not believe I was able to achieve the following: Can I make the AI use components from my design systems rather than its pre-defined set? Can I add components to its pre-defined component library? If yes, how? Can I make it create component sets and states? Can the AI use framework components like Bootstrap 5 if asked? Can the AI create variable tables for me for my design system? Can the AI create styles other than its initial style control interface? Like, actual text and color styles (if variables are not a go, since that is better)? Can it work on elements on a page, like a vector illustration, and modify the element? Can it create tables? Can it create flow charts/connections between frames since it can noodle?
Hello folks, I need help unpublishing a library. I followed all the steps listed on the help page, yet I can still see that file with the gray icon instead of blue (meaning it’s still a library), and when I hit on “Libraries” in any file, I can still see it there and enable it. I think it’s a bug because I follow the steps and things works as supposed, but once unpublished nothing changes in the UI (not even quitting and re-opening Figma again): I open the file that was published as a library I click on “Assets” and on the “Library” icon (book) I click on the current file I click on “Unpublish” It throws a double confirmation modal where I click on “Remove” I get a “Successfuly unpublished library” Nothing changed 🤷 It still appears in the Libraries modal in any other file and is still available for enabling it. Plus, as I said earlier, the file icon won’t revert to blue instead of gray. Is anybody else having the same issue? (BTW: Using Figma’s MacOS app)
