Not yet. I was hoping to find a solution through this article. If this persists, I was planning to Mail figma officially because this breaks the whole point of having and using figma sites.
One alternate way I am currently solving this is by using “Domain forwarding”. Temporary solution to make sure a sub-domain is being used but is not useful in many cases
Thank you for the reply. I’m planning to mail figma too. I’ll let you know if something changes

Hey,
Hope you are doing good. So the issue has been resolved.
I wrote an email to Figma yesterday in detail and they help me figure out the problem. In my case the issue was that I was not adding all DNS records in GoDaddy.
Figma Sites specifies that two records need to exist - ‘cname’ and ‘txt’
I was created DNS record for only cname, cause I thought only one of them was needed. Once I made sure both DNS records got added in GoDaddy, the subdomain was connected successfully.
Hey,
Thanks to ChatGPT I found the solution to my problem and what worked for me was switching from the apex domain to the subdomain. Figma doesn’t support apex domains like mysite.com, so I connected www.mysite.com instead.
I set the TXT and CNAME records with those Figma provided then I set up a redirect from mysite.com to www.mysite.com through my domain registrar. That way, everything points to the version Figma actually supports — and it works now.

Hey,
Glad things worked out for you. Yayayya let’s go
Yes, exactly the same problem.. It was frustrating making all those redirects. Why wouldn’t Figma support apex domains? We’re all used to them, no one types in www anymore, and setting up those redirects was hell.
Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your experiences with this! I wanted to check in and confirm that support for apex domains is on our radar and will be available soon.
We’ll share any updates as they roll out, and you can also keep an eye on this Help Center article for the latest: Does Figma support apex domains?
Really appreciate your patience as we continue improving Figma Sites based on your feedback.
