When exporting a session to PNG, the session title is rendered incorrectly if it contains Chinese characters. The characters are either missing or not displayed at all. Steps to Reproduce: Create a session with a title that includes Chinese characters (e.g., 會議紀錄) Export the session as a PNG Observe the exported image
Firstly great job Figma Font variables are here!!! Figma tutorial: Variables for typography The only thing missing is the use of percentages in the line-height property. You can not use a percentage in the line-height as it only accepts variables that are a number type. Although the variables for line-height caters for pixel (absolute) line-heights (10,12,14)- it does not accommodate relative line heights. In other words you can’t use percentage variables for line heights that are a percentage of the font size (100%, 120%,150%). Interestingly …You can use a variable for letter-spacing ( which accepts a number variable - but reads it as a percentage) - the challenge remains that line heights by default are absolute not percentages - even though you can input a percentage. Percentages allow greater flexibility and less calculations Word around would be to allow formula in a variable e.g. =[variable] * 1.5 Or figuring out a way for the line height to be toggle between absolute or relative
I’m currently building a website using Figma Site, and I’m trying to make a button redirect to an external URL (e.g., https://google.com). I’ve set the link properly in the button settings, but when I preview or publish the site, clicking the button does nothing Has anyone experienced this? Is there something I might be missing, or is this a bug/limitation of Figma Site? Would really appreciate any insights or solutions. Thanks!
Hey there! I just published my website using Figma Sites. I connected the right domain and I had no issues with that. The problem is that the website takes forever to load in any screen, and when it comes to mobile it just doesn’t fully load. Even when I try to change my desktop windows sizes, the website crashes all the time. Is that because I published recently, and must wait for it to “settle”? Or did I do something wrong? Here’s my website: www.deborahavila.com I appreciate immensely any help!
THe issue seems to apply when i’m attaching either an image or a Figma component. Button to “send” the prompt is disabled. Removing the attached image or component makes the button functional again.
A container set to horizontal auto layout with wrap, contains several instances of a component called ‘rectangle’.This rectangle component has 2 variants : A ‘default’ variant (a black square) and a ‘hidden’ variant (the same black square with a width and height set to 0px). Upon clicking the default square, the component changes to the ‘hidden’ variant. If you play the prototype, it’s great, upon clicking each ‘rectangle’, they disappear and the remaining instances wrap. But if I create a component from the container, the instances of this component don’t have the same behavior and the instance of ‘rectangle’ don’t wrap anymore. Am I missing something here ? Here’s the Link : Thanks for your help. The idea is to create a large field with many deletable chips inside.
Hi Figma Team, I’m encountering an issue after a recent update where “Copy as PNG” (Cmd-Shift-C) no longer works for images, frames, or groups up to 4096 x 4096 px—which was previously the maximum import size without resizing. Before the update, I could copy a selection as a PNG, paste it into Photoshop for edits, and then (ensuring it stayed within the 4096 x 4096 px limit) paste it back into Figma – either replacing the original or as a new variant in an image component. Now, attempting this results in the attached alert. Was this an intentional change, or is this a bug? Would appreciate any insights—thanks in advance for looking into it! Best,Steve
Just saw the new sketching and fill tools appear. You’re on track to own vector production. Now go after raster/print (seriously)! Amazingly, Quark Xpress is still alive and seems to have developed some serious content-management tools. Buy them! Bring print production into a collaborative Figma space.
Hi, I am trying to complete Stripe onboarding to sell community resources on Figma but it keeps giving me this error (attached) I’ve been chatting with customer support for the last few days and I was first told it could be an issue with the Postal Code (The UAE doesn’t have postal codes so we normally just use 00000). A couple days later I was told that the issue is because I need to submit it from a user account not a team account (keep in mind that this is a user account not a team account). Now I’ve finally been told that it’s because my country is not supported. I live in the United Arab Emirates and Stripe is supported here (https://stripe.com/ae/global). Figma’s articles say that it accepts paid resources from countries where Stripe is supported (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/12730712101783-Activate-your-Stripe-account). I've spent the past 11 months designing and building this resource to help Figma users streamline their workflow. As you can imagine, I’m really hopi

My client and I are having issues when viewing a Figma prototype on our mobile phones. I have tried in different browsers as well as the Figma app and it always looks the same. It works fine on desktop but everything on mobile looks like the attached screenshot. I have tried a bunch of troubleshooting options I have found in the community but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
I created a site with a mobile breakpoint, and it scales properly on my desktop, but when I navigate to it on my phone, I see the mobile layout for just a split second before it switches to the desktop layout. Any ideas on how I might fix this?
