I was going to praise how neat the new Annotation feature is, when I realized the content is only visible to Dev Mode accounts. Are you serious? I understand you want to limit creating annotations to certain seat types, but viewing annotations should be a viewer-level feature. Come on Figma, there are better ways to convince your users to pay for a subscription. This is such a crooked move.
How do I get the features like remove background inside figmA? I want to remove it without using a plugin
Hello. I was wondering if it is possible to have percentage values in variables, like setting percentage value for frame widths or shape sizes (etc.) that have variable modes applied to them? Percentage values could respond better to content that varies within a frame or frames within frames.
I received an email last week saying I needed to renew my Educators plan and that some information was required, I sent everything and was automatically approved. The problem is I still have my files on view only mode and cant edit anything (even if it allows me to ask for editing permissions to the owner -which is myself and can’t give permissions to myself.-) Help please!
I’ve created a project in Figma Sites and connected to my domain with DNS. In the file settings, I’ve made sure to uncheck the “Exclude from search engine results” option. However, after publishing, the noindex meta tag still appears in the site’s head when i try to do index in Google Console. There are no noindex tags in my code. Can you please help me with my problem.Site URL on my domain is https://www.footfault.club/
I am trying to use the new annotation tool in Dev Mode. I have 2 questions: I have made annotations on a frame in a Figma project. When I move this frame to another project, the annotations do not move. Is there a way to move the annotations too? During annotating frames, is it possible to annotate multiple components/frames together?
While working on a file, when I collapse all layers (OPT+L), it seems like Figma starts syncing the file, which makes it extremely slow for a few moments. I didn’t have this problem in the past.
I just can’t extract an image using Figma MCP. As you can see its successful, but it gives me a url like this, which doesn’t point to anything hence the images do not get rendered. Also attaching my Figma MCP settings. And before anyone talks about it losing context etc because of the size. This is what I’m exporting, just this… Because I just want to find out how to do a successful export with an image.
Hi all (and hopefully someone from the Figma team), I’m writing this post after spending days trying to figure out whether it is currently possible to sell a Figma plugin, and I’m honestly shocked at how contradictory, confusing, and out-of-date the information is across the official documentation and forum posts—even posts by Figma staff. I’m not alone in this confusion. Let me lay out what I’ve found and where the contradictions lie. 🔒 1. Official documentation (as of now) says the Community Seller program is closed From the official documentation on selling Community resources: “Note: We are not approving new creators to sell paid files on Community at this time.” This implies that unless you were already approved long ago, you can’t use the built-in Stripe-based seller infrastructure at all—meaning you cannot charge for your plugin through Figma in any official way. 🌐 2. A 3-year-old post from Figma staff says you can use your own Stripe flow (but not in the plugin UI) Source: Fo
Hi!I'm currently experiencing some erratic behavior when navigating within a file using the spacebar. It seems to be related to the Sections containers, although I haven't looked into it in detail yet. Would you mind taking a look at the attached video? Thanks
I want to know if, when working in a connected project, it’s possible for me as an external collaborator to create and edit files that are private to me, using the host’s shared library. Specifically: Is every file created in a connected project visible to the host by default? Is it possible for me to use the host’s shared library in my own private space, so I can work privately until my project is ready to be shared in the connected project? My goal is to be able to work on a file that is only accessible to me until I’m ready to present it within the connected project. Thank you for any insights!
Hi everyone, I am trying to set up library thumbnails as components to nest in ‘library preview’ component for documentation so that as I change thumbnail design they sync with the docs. I am having a problem when i change out the thumbnail component it does not insert as expected. You can see from the screenshot the frame scales as expected but the text does not. Is this a thumbnail component setup problem or a libray preview thumbnail setup problem? Thank you, Mark
