Olá!

Sou Carlos Coelho, desenvolvedor de sites. Uso o Figma para criar layouts de sites usando fontes Google (em geral). Venho hoje para reportar um problema no site e gostaria de saber se temos uma solução para isso.

Ao desenvolver o site, geralmente uso a categoria “Google Fonts” para selecionar uma fonte para o meu website do meu cliente…
 





Sabendo que o cliente tem uma identidade visual, eu busco na galeria Google Fonts a fonte do meu cliente, exemplo Gibson.
 


O Figma me informa que a fonte Gibson foi encontrada… Porém, ele me leva a crer que a fonte Gibson está na categoria que eu selecionei, “Google Fonts”, o que não está.

Gostaria de saber se os desenvolvedores do Figma poderiam corrigir isso para que este tipo de problema não aconteça, e que a “Categoria > Google Fonts” seja uma forma de selecionar um grupo específico de fontes. E que a parte de Pesquisa seja delimitada pela Categoria.

I understand you'd like the font picker to filter search results specifically within the "Google Fonts" category. You've noticed that when you select "Google Fonts" and then search for a specific font (like "Gibson"), Figma shows that the font is found, but it doesn't limit the search to only Google Fonts and you're looking for the search function to be constrained by the selected category.

 

Currently, when applying a font, you can search the entire font list by name, or you can apply filters to narrow down the list of visible fonts. - Browse and apply fonts

However, the ability to search within an already filtered list of fonts isn't supported at this time. Your request for category-delimited search is a valuable feature request.

 

While not exactly the same, there's an existing feature request that discusses improving font search and adding filters:

 

We encourage you to share your thoughts and contribute to the discussion on that existing post, or create a new topic in the Share your thoughts category if you feel your specific suggestion is distinct. Our Product Managers regularly review community suggestions there, so you can directly share your detailed feedback with them.
