Figma Design blocks Chrome's shortcut to switch tabs

Figma Design has this keyboard shortcut for text tuning:

It conflicts with Chrome’s well-known shortcut to go to the previous or next tab.

As a result when I execute this shortcut while in the Figma Design tab, Chrome stops switching tabs. Which is a pity, because this happens even if you have no text selected. 

Any suggestion (other than using the native Figma app, which is not my preference)?

Is there no way to disable or redefine certain Figma shortcuts?
