I am able to access my Library variables when editing object details: But when I try to use the Set Variable function in an interaction, I can only choose local variables: This problem seems to be limited to the Set Variable function; when I am creating conditionals I can access Library variables just fine:
Hi, I am trying to complete Stripe onboarding to sell community resources on Figma but it keeps giving me this error (attached) Im guessing it’s because of the post code I’ve entered. I’m based in the United Arab Emirates and the country and cities here don’t have post codes. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
So recently I changed my email account for my google account because I could not remember my old hotmail account however I forgot that my Figma account is connected to my old email account and I could log in via my Google SSO. However there is no way now of accessing my Figma account because I don’t know my old email account password at all and can’t even recover the old email account password and get access to my inbox. Is there a way I can access my Figma account? It’s very worrying because it’s a pro account so now I am paying for something I can’t even access. Is there someone at Figma who could help me and I can prove it’s my account through billing address or something.
Hi everyone, I’ve just started experimenting with the new Grids auto layout beta version. How do I get this square rectangle block to go from edge to edge of the webpage? I’ve added 10px padding either side of the webpage grid, however everytime I extend it, it snaps to the auto grid? I would like this to extend past the grid to the very edge! I’ve tried holding down shift and drag, however this creates another frame on top of the existing webpage frame and it needs to all be within one frame.
I don’t think I need to say anything more. It’s weird that this doesn’t exist.
Getting the “Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish” error when I try to publish. I’ve gone through the older treads but haven’t found a solutions beside Figma sent out a fix. I’ve tried everything I can think of including the obvious solutions like reloading tab and restarting computer. I’ve tried deleting all new components and even restored earlier versions, from the version history panel, that were previously published. Yet still no luck. My other libraries will publish, but my main library will not. 🙄
When you invite people you need them to accept the invitation first in order for you to assign a role and workspace. This could take DAYS in order for people to be able to get start working because time it takes to communicate to multiple groups of people, different time zone when they request/when I invite them. It is especially bad with my nature of my organization when you have people come and go constantly. When it could be done within 2 minutes. Please add this feature, I wasted so much time and energy when I could be doing something else.
I haven’t seen it here, but it would be extremely helpful, for Enterprise, to be able to set Workspace, Billing Group, and permissions for Figma/FigJam seats at the time of invitation. Under the current design, I have to invite someone, then I have to wait until they create a profile to then assign seat permissions and workspace/billing group. Then, because I don’t get any notification that the invitee has created the profile, they have to wait until the next time I log in, or contact me again. You can see how much of a time waste (bad design) this is, especially if you’re inviting a group of people who create profiles at different times.
Is it possible to specify an objects center of rotation. I cant for the life of me find it anywhere. You could do this relatively easy in sketch.
When adding a new asset frame in Figma Buzz, it comes with a pre-baked drop shadow that can’t be removed since there’s no Effects panel. So when exporting for an instagram post, for example, it adds unnecessary space to the post. My only workaround is copying all my asset frames into a regular Figma design file to remove the drop shadows, and then exporting from that Figma design file.
Hey y'all, I feel like I'm losing my mind. I just added a user to my team account, when I meant to swap their seat with another user who was no longer using it. So now I have this unused seat I'm going to be billed for - and I can't find any way to remove it. I've googled and chatted with their AI bot. Can anyone point me to where I can remove an unused seat so I'm not billed for it? Can someone from figma also please explain the decision to hide this UX and make it so unclear?
Hey there, I’m running into library publishing failure and am hoping someone can offer a solution. Context: The library is a design system file that has successfully published as recently as the afternoon fri, 2/28 (today is tue, 3/4) The file memory usage is only 7%, and laptop has 50% available memory The system contains atomic and simple molecular components with variant properties, and local variables for text and color I have triple checked the entire file for conflicting component properties and/or nested instances that might cause loops – it’s possible I missed something, but the library was publishing until a few days ago The last changes I made before publishing began to fail was to apply semantic color variables to icons however, I had successfully published updates with those variables to other components previously, so can’t imagine this is the culprit The file has 87 changes to publish, with 0 conflicting instances. Changes include modified, added, and removed components/v
Hi there, While applying after delay animations it works fine when viewing in web version but in figma mirror app it doesn't shows the after delay animation.. it this a bug or what am went went wrong,,, any suggestion's…?
Hi! I was able to publish my library without any issues this morning, but now I'm getting the error message: "Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish." I've tried reloading the page, quitting Figma, restarting my laptop, and confirming my network connection, but nothing seems to work. I've been using this file for over a year and have never encountered this issue before.
