Precise Date and Time Display in Version History

In the current implementation of Figma’s Version History, timestamps are displayed in relative terms such as “25 days ago” or “1 month ago.” While this provides a general indication of when a change occurred, it falls short in scenarios where users need to locate a specific version tied to an exact date or time.

Proposal:

To enhance usability, I propose the addition of a tooltip that reveals the full date and time when hovering over these relative timestamps. For example, placing the cursor over “25 days ago” could display “17 June 2025, 14:43.”

Although this solution may not be exhaustive, it would significantly improve the user’s ability to identify and retrieve specific versions with greater precision, all without disrupting the existing user interface.

There used to be a tooltip to show the time stamp with full accuracy upon hovering a relative time stamp in Version History. Please bring it back!

Could be beneficial to display the time stamp in full in the Edit Version Info dialog as well (static, not editable).
