Problem: Currently, FigJam is an excellent tool for collaborative brainstorming and ideation. However, when transitioning from high-level conceptualization to more structured representations like flowcharts, sequence diagrams, or entity-relationship diagrams, users are often forced to switch to other tools or manually draw these complex diagrams, which is time-consuming, prone to errors, and difficult to maintain. This breaks the seamless flow from idea to implementation, creating a gap between the initial brainstorming phase and the detailed technical documentation or code implementation. The lack of text-based diagramming also limits the ability to easily version control diagrams or generate them programmatically. Solution: Integrate native support for Mermaid.js within FigJam. This would allow users to create various diagrams (flowcharts, sequence, class, state, ER, Gantt, etc.) directly using Mermaid's simple, Markdown-inspired syntax within a dedicated block or widget in FigJam. When using the comment feature in Figma for Japanese input, the cursor occasionally moves to the very end of the comment upon confirming the conversion. As demonstrated in the attached capture, this behavior does not always occur with the same keyboard operations. I am quite troubled by this and would like to see it improved. For this demonstration, ‘Google Japanese Input’ is being used for Japanese input. However, the same behavior occurs with the Japanese input system that comes with MacOS.
I’ve noticed that OpenType features (ligatures, stylistic sets, etc.) show correctly in Figma’s Design mode, but they don’t appear in the published website when using Figma Site. Is this a known limitation/bug, or is there a workaround to ensure OpenType features are preserved in the published output? Hey Peeps, Right now my Figma Make is connected to one of my Supabase account which has two of my projects. But I have created a new Supabase account for newer projects, but Figma Make is not allowing me to disconnect the current integration and login or connect to another supabase account. Is this a limitation or can this be fixed with the current capabilities and features. @Tom Reem Kindly help, ASAP!
Dear Figma Team, There is a problem that is causing me a lot of trouble lately… When I add drop shadow on top of an outside stroke with no variable the drop shadow start after the stroke. The problem is that when I add a variable stroke width, the stroke goes above the drop shadow 😫. There is 3 diffrent behaviors for the exact same frame and same shadow. See screenshot attached It is really jeopardize a hard deadline for me , please help… (PS : the shadow is raw number so its not an interaction between 2 variables of the same mode in case you were wondering)
I designed my portfolio website using Figma Sites. While it was a bit laggy at times, it worked fine overall. But for the past 2–3 days, the preview mode has become unusable, the entire page keeps blinking and shaking continuously whenever I open it.
Hi Figma team, I wanted to share some persistent issues I’ve been experiencing for over a month now related to Stroke and Fill functionality. Stroke issues: I often can’t remove the stroke or set it to appear on only one side. This is especially problematic when the object is nested within another frame. Fill issues: The “+” button to add a new fill works only occasionally. While clicking on the Fill area does trigger a response from the system, actually adding or deleting a fill rarely works. Often, I have to just toggle the visibility (“eye” icon) off — even if I know I won’t need a fill at all — because I simply can’t delete it. Spacing/padding issues (new): As of today, I’m unable to set different paddings for different sides of an object. It only lets me set a uniform value for all sides, and the option to adjust each side individually appears to be missing or broken. These bugs are impacting my workflow significantly. I’d really appreciate it if the team could take a look. Thanks
As a system analyst, I often walk others through design files to confirm specifications or gather feedback—whether it’s with clients, internal teams, or stakeholders. In Axure, I’m used to having a fixed notes panel on the side—so I can present the screens on the right while referring to key talking points or structured notes on the left (Axure screenshot attached). This setup has been incredibly helpful during presentations or walkthroughs. It keeps the discussion organized and lets me stay on track without jumping back and forth or losing context. But in Figma, I constantly find myself dragging the screen around just to switch between designs and notes. Not only does it interrupt my own focus, but it also makes it harder for others to follow along, especially when the screen keeps shifting back and forth. It can be visually tiring and distracting for everyone involved, making the whole session feel less smooth and less clear. I truly believe a fixed or detachable notes panel would be
When exporting frames with gradients to PNG, you'll get semi-transparent pixels—even when all gradient stops are 100% opacity. This happens whether the gradient is applied directly to the frame or on a separate layer, as long as there's no solid fill behind it. The attached Figma file includes four test frames. Visually, they appear identical, but only the fourth frame—with a solid fill behind the gradient—exports as fully opaque. You can verify this with a tool like: PNG transparency checker; the first three exports contain semi-transparent pixels. A workaround is to move the gradient to a separate layer, then apply a solid fill to the frame behind it, like the fourth frame in the attached file. This avoids the PNG transparency problem but adds unnecessary layer complexity. Repro Steps Create a new Figma Design file Add a frame With the frame selected, change its fill to Linear Gradient. In the Export panel, click the + (plus) button. Confirm export type is set to PNG Click Export Fra
I have an icon library that I am organizing, and I thought the new grid Auto-layout feature would help organize the icon sizes. Set the grid on the Component Set to use a 2x7 (2 columns, 7 rows) layout. Then, I select all of the variants and drag the top-left selected variant into the top-left cell on the grid. All of the variants nest themselves in the grid cells magically as expected. But what is unexpected is that the property names are blown away and reset to Figma’s default naming convention while the property values stay intact.
Hi guys, I’m working on a text field as par of my Figma training, and when i add auto-layout to the text “Label” and the line next to it, the line moves and disaligns with the rest of the frame. Can I make those 2 lines align again? I’ve tried the following: 1 adding an arrow at the end of the line to see if the line itself would budge, 2 moving the auto-layout to aign again, 3 mind power. I’m a beginner so i’m sure there’s a solution and i’ve simply not found it.Any advice is welcome. Many Thanks! Alison
Hi,Our team has been creating multiple pages using Figma Make. However, we realized that all the pages are in separate files, and we can’t figure out how to connect them with Prototype mode. We want to: Combine several Make pages (Landing, Dashboard, Courses, etc.) into one Design file. Add Prototype links between the frames (e.g., from the Landing page to the Dashboard). Is there a way to convert or duplicate Make files into regular Figma Design files so that we can use the Prototype feature?
Since Figma Make became publicly available, I’ve noticed a significant drop in performance and overall intelligence. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence, but I no longer see the “Claude Sonnet 4” label next to the prompt area. Everything I try now leads to poor results. Just yesterday, during the beta phase, the AI was much more capable and consistently delivered great outcomes. Today, I’m stuck for hours on simple tasks that were handled effortlessly before. Anyone noticing the same?
Hello Figma Support Team, I’ve built and published my site via Figma Sites under the custom domain: www.cozumyapitr.com However, when I try to submit the site to Google Search Console, I get the following error: ❌ “URL cannot be indexed. robots.txt could not be fetched.” I’ve checked manually and indeed the robots.txt file returns 404 Not Found. Can you please assist me with enabling the robots.txt file or resolving this issue so that my site can be indexed by Google? Thank you very much.
