Hi guys,

I’m working on a text field as par of my Figma training, and when i add auto-layout to the text “Label” and the line next to it, the line moves and disaligns with the rest of the frame. Can I make those 2 lines align again?

I’ve tried the following:

1 adding an arrow at the end of the line to see if the line itself would budge,

2 moving the auto-layout to aign again,

3 mind power.

I’m a beginner so i’m sure there’s a solution and i’ve simply not found it.
Any advice is welcome.

Hey, 

You should be sure to select the frame autolayout around the label and not the label or the line break indeed. 

Also for next step: if you have the top line that goes up when you hide the label you should fixed the heigth of the frame
