This is what's happening: 1. When I try to copy and paste from the browser to the Figma Windows app, the function does not work at all. 2. When I try to copy and paste inside a figma file using the Windows app, the function still does not work. The shortcut and right-click options do not work for copying and pasting. I've had this problem since yesterday. I am using the most recent figma update for the figma windows app, and I checked the browser clipboard option, which does not help me. Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. It's very annoying and makes it difficult to use the app.
I've been experimenting with the new Figma Make feature and noticed a recurring issue that's affecting usability: After about 8–10 successful prompts (each 1–2 lines long), Figma Make starts rejecting any further prompt with the message: "Try again, with fewer inputs." This happens even when the prompts are extremely short, e.g., "Create a dark-themed button component" or "Add a CTA section with three buttons." I’ve tested this across multiple projects and browsers. The issue persists consistently, and the only workaround seems to be refreshing the tab, which sometimes helps temporarily — but not always. Additional Context: Even though Figma Make is currently laggy while generating prototypes (which I can overlook), this input rejection bug makes it difficult to iterate quickly or finish design ideas. It feels like a silent rate-limit or session exhaustion issue that’s not clearly communicated to the user.

Hi, I don't know what has changed but I get this message "we noticed changes in your account...." when I want to publish a new version of my plugin (screenshot attached). I even added dynamic pages and there is no error marked. I wrote to that email but only an AI bot responded. I answered that but no reply. What can be done to resolve this? I need to publish a critical fix of my plugin “MATE”. Thanks!
Figma Design has this keyboard shortcut for text tuning: It conflicts with Chrome’s well-known shortcut to go to the previous or next tab. As a result when I execute this shortcut while in the Figma Design tab, Chrome stops switching tabs. Which is a pity, because this happens even if you have no text selected. Any suggestion (other than using the native Figma app, which is not my preference)? Is there no way to disable or redefine certain Figma shortcuts?
On July 14th, 2025, I transferred ownership of a project file titled "4조_시각디자인 리서치 조사 (Group 4_Visual Design Research Project)" to another member and then left the team. I was the original owner. After I left, the project disappeared and none of the team members can access it anymore. It's also not in the Trash. This project contains important collaborative work, and we would be very grateful if there's any way to recover even just the file contents. Any advice or help would be much appreciated!
Att.
I have been using Figma Make to design my portfolio which was going great. Things I got done - Created a homepage Added Interactions Defined a visual design language As I am proceeding to drilled down pages further, I have noticed a few things : The images that were added previously are deleted / replaced by new ones - despite specific instructions to not do it. Slow speed : I also noticed that the typing speed of prompts slowed down as I proceeded further - cross-checked if it was a computer issue (which it wasn’t) It’s forgetting things! with every prompt & design updates, it’s now deleting the previous content + pictures :( all the hard work seems to be going in vain and I’m not afraid to touch the project in fear of disrupting the progress so far Can someone help me? Also, what’s the memory capacity of Figma Make? I noticed it was using Calude Sonnet so, assumed it should have been good. Am I missing something here?
Hi all. I’m new to Figma and currently working on a project where I’m generating cards using text pulled from a Google Sheet via a plugin like Google Sheets Sync. The sync is working fine. Each card is receiving the correct text from the sheet. However, I’d like to go a step further and apply specific font colors to certain words or patterns within the text. Here is the data in sheets: Here’s a screenshot of the cards in Figma: The 2 cards in the frame are populating with the text correctly. However I would like the font to have certain colors based on certain keywords. For example, In Line 1: “Some” and “line” should be red, everything else in line 1 should be white. In Line 2: “Some” should be red, anything text in bracket should be orange, etc. My Questions: Is this type of partial, inline text formatting (color changes) possible when using data from Google Sheets? Are there any beginner-friendly tips or best practices to achieve this? I’m hoping to avoid having to manually change t
Hello! I wrote here 10 months ago about my prototype not working when I share them with some colleagues because the variables just don’t work at all. I tried again today with a new prototype and still have the same issue. It works perfectly fine on my computer, variables are set, used, changed, all good. But when my colleague opens the prototype on her computer, it’s as if the variables didn’t exist at all. (tried in browser and the desktop app) This is really a pain when you spend time creating a nice proto that no-one can use… Has anyone run into this or better yet, found a solution? Thanks!
I’m getting the following error- We can't open this file because we're having trouble with WebGL. Please try restarting the desktop app. If this problem persists, your graphics card or driver may not be supported. This happened after updating Figma. It works perfectly on different browsers but the desktop app isn’t working. Are there any fixes for this?
