I’m in the Figma for Edu the latest updates from Figma i showed once on my desktop application and suddenly disappeared it’s normal
What I can’t stand the most is that the panels of the new UI can’t be attached to the edges. They leave some gaps, wasting the space to display the main design and operation area. And visually, these gaps are also distracting my attention. The toolbar at the bottom also interferes with the main operation space, especially if its color is the same as my design draft. By the way, is it just for the convenience of novices to move it from the top to the bottom? If someone who uses Figma more frequently, he will use shortcuts instead of mouse clicks to trigger these functions. So I hope that adjustments can be made in time in the official version of UI3, otherwise these redesign will seem like a subjective conjecture of someone who doesn’t use Figma much.
Our icon naming convention uses PascalCase with no spaces—names like UiMiscHeart. When I try to search for an icon from outside the icon library, keyword-based searches don’t work unless I enter the beginning of the component name exactly. For example, searching for “heart” won’t return UiMiscHeart, but “uimisch” will. However, when I search within the icon library’s source file, partial matches work as expected. This issue only occurs when searching from other files. Did fuzzy search used to work more reliably across files? I feel like it used to behave better.
I used the COPY PNG feature a lot and paste it into a fill layer. This week that functionality broke down. Now if you try and COPY PNG and paste it will only do it for one layer and remove every other fill layer. In the past you could choose the fill layer so it would preserve backgrounds or any other fills. Seems like perhaps the latest update broke this feature?
I’m experiencing an odd bug. Some components when a variant is swapped will not fully swap out colors. See images/example below. As you can see in the last screenshot here, the text is not fully changing color. The text color should be gray and not white. Please help 🙂
Hello, I have a large group of different shaped icons that I’d like to size using variables for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. Is there a way to apply a 100% height value or set a fixed aspect ratio so I can control them via a single width variable? It would save me a lot of time. Thanks, Will
Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this When we select a particular template or frame on Figma on the right side it will show all the colours did we used on that frame or template that’s a really good feature, Including that can you people also try to show us what all fonts that we used in that template or frame I felt that could be really great move by Figma if you people show the list of fonts that we used in that frame this going to be a great initiative by FIGMA. I’m really apologetic If that feature already existed in Figma I didn’t know where it was? I explored but I couldn’t find that feature. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.) Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation (e.g. Does anyone else experience this? I love Figma, I’ve finally been able to get rid of Illustator. However, Illustrator had a very useful function when working with a large artboard or a large number of artboards. I could zoom out to view the project, select any object(s) I was interested in, and then zoom+ in to or zoom-to-fit (focus) the selected objects. Currently, the zoom in Figma is always focused on the centre of the screen, meaning I need to reposition the viewing window as/before I zoom in to work.
I created a hover button, my goal was when I click on the button, it should divide in three parts like retro style, I kinda achieved it, but the problem I faced was, when I previewed it, the button was kind of bouncing or dancing, I rechecked everything and everything was fine, can anyone tell me the solution.

Hi Figma Team🔆When re-ordering variants, I have encountered several suspicious issues: The drag & drop icon is not aligned with the variants. The list does not scroll up when dragging the item. When dropping, the selected variant is placed in a completely different position than where I released it. When dropping, the selected item turns into another variant, making the list completely untraceable. Can you please fix this issue? Thanks a lot in advance.
