I’ve been using figma.fileKey in an internal Figma plugin to get the file’s latest contributor, and it had been working fine until today. Now I’m getting the following error: Unhandled promise rejection: Error: figma.fileKey is undefined. Ensure you’re in the plugin main thread on API v1.0.0+ Just wanted to check—was there a recent update to the Figma APIs that may have affected this behavior? I’m running this from the main thread, so this change seems unexpected. Appreciate any insight you can provide! Thank you for the help
There are bugs in the Figma prototype that cause it to frequently malfunction. We often have to reload the prototype to trigger click events properly, and comments sometimes appear in incorrect or inconsistent positions.
I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.
Grouping pages with in project. Tag pages to page within ‘Project’ to show relation or from other ‘Projects’ just a suggestion for tool that I would find it useful.
Developers, if you read this thread, please take this into account in future releases. When viewing files in a project, Figma preloads ALL files in the project. The whole application starts to freeze and makes it difficult to use even the ‘create file’ button (over 1 min of waiting). Why not make this screen with the ability to preview 50 files, splitting all files into preview pages [1,2....50]. Colleagues, if you know how this can be fixed, I will be grateful. Have a nice day!
Overview We conducted an internal evaluation of Figma Make (powered by Claude 4 Sonnet) to determine its viability as a prototyping and code generation tool for the Easywaste platform. The test covered both unstructured mockups and structured design system-based frames. Objectives Import “quick & dirty” Figma frames to test visual output generation. Use auto-layout and design system frames to test fidelity and accuracy. Assess efficiency of the design iteration workflow. Evaluate code export quality and V0 compatibility. Determine potential for production-level prototyping in our pipeline. Key Findings 1. Quick & Dirty Frame Import Poor results: Figma Make failed to interpret rough, non-auto layout frames. Outputs were structurally incoherent and lacked visual fidelity. Design consistency could not be maintained despite repeated prompting. 2. Design System Frame Import Even clean, auto-layout frames using our design system yielded misaligned results. Layouts, hierarchy, and spatial log
Hi! I’m testing a site built with the new Figma Sites feature. I’ve set the top navigation bar as a sticky element and made sure it’s positioned at the very top of the layer tree. In the Layout panel, canvas stacking is set to “First on top.” Canvas stakcking settings It looks fine on Figma and Chrome(desktop & laptop) On Safari and mobile browsers, the sticky navigation bar appears underneath the hero section content, even though it’s set to be the topmost layer in the design. On Chrome (desktop & laptop): everything works as intended — the GNB stays sticky and always remains on top. On Safari (desktop & laptop) and all mobile browsers (Safari & Chrome): the GNB is sticky, but appears underneath other layers and is partially or fully hidden. Is there a workaround or fix for this issue? Thanks in advance!
When I created my educational plan with my school it was created ultil 2026 but today I have received an email informing that my education plan will expired in 4 weeks. Did you change the politics?
Hey! I was wondering if there's a good way to calculate weight loss ( Calculateur de Pourcentage de perte de poids ) progress using percentages instead of just looking at total kilos lost. For example, knowing that someone lost 8% of their body weight might give a clearer picture than just saying they lost 6 kg. Is there a calculator or method you all use to track weight loss percentage easily over time? Would love to hear your tips or tools!
I was going to praise how neat the new Annotation feature is, when I realized the content is only visible to Dev Mode accounts. Are you serious? I understand you want to limit creating annotations to certain seat types, but viewing annotations should be a viewer-level feature. Come on Figma, there are better ways to convince your users to pay for a subscription. This is such a crooked move.
I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select. If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue *Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again. when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens again When moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again
Can any one suggest a real integration of Spline 3D.One that can actually see on Figma design board and and preview when presenting using Figma?

I am no longer able to access I file I created. I have the URL but I simply get a ‘request access’ screen and when requesting access I get no email. I’ve tried with all Figma accounts I have access to, but none of them has access. I can provide the URL of the file if necessary.
Strange things happening when using lines in autolayout if starting a auto-layouted-frame with lines, nothing is correctly aligned if starting with rectangles and then adding a line, the rectangles work, but line still has issues
Output: Layer properties: Please help me resolve this issue… Is this bug in figma?
