Why is my Figma Frame set to 1552px wide, but when I export it as PNG, the downloaded image size reduces to 1232px, even though my export settings are correct and set to 1x?

I can’t open my plugins. it is giving me an error message saying it is unable to load in the environment

Hi Figma, I’m adding Spring animation support to Prototyper transition.easing.type = 'GENTLE', 'QUICK'... But I find that the transition.duration field does not respect the value I assign to it. For example: When I set transition.duration to 0.2 (200ms) in code, the field is set correctly i.e. to 0.2. But in Figma’s Interaction Modal, the value displayed is 1200ms. When the prototype is played, the interaction also plays at 1200ms. This behavior is unexpected. And the relevant API documentation do not describe how to accurately set spring animation duration. Can someone help me understand how to implement duration correctly?

I paid for an annual subscription back in November ‘24, then for some reason when I shared files with my developer, (something every freelance designer has to do) I started getting monthly charges, then, So I pay for a full annual account, and now I’m being charged for 2 full seats for me and someone else that has his own figma account, just for sharing files with him. Why would I be charged for 2 seats, if my seat should’ve been covered under my annual subscription, plus a coworker? I’ve been triple charged. So unethical. Would like a refund.

 This problem happens if you copy+paste open vector paths from another software to Figma. Illustrator fills open paths between two ends: If you try to do the same thing in Figma, it won't fill anything:  And turns out when you copy an open path from Illustrator and paste it into Figma, weird things happen. It'll preserve the same fill behavior in Illustrator that's not possible in Figma.  When you use the pen tool to complete the shape in Figma, it won't fill the shape fully. A workaround to resolve this is to remove the fill. Then refill the shape using the paint bucket tool (B). To access the paint bucket tool, you need to be in "edit mode" for the shape by double-clicking the shape or pressing enter while the shape is selected.   After that, click the shape and it'll be filled. Now it'll act like any other shape in Figma.  

Hi, please help me solving this problem, i don’t have the fill container optoin in my figma, even tho i selected a frame and i did activate the auto layout, but the fill container optoin was never shown

Hello! I want to create an object (text, shape, frame) inside the auto layout frame, but nothing works as it did before. The object appears above the auto layout frame, not inside it. Scroll speed is inconsistent. Can this please be fixed? It’s all over the place.It's really quite as simple as: one tick of the scrollwheel should ALWAYS travel the same amount of on-screen pixels. Today, I was designing icons in Figma and I discovered the new aspect ratio lock property. Then I realized something was wrong. I found that all the aspect ratio scaling properties I had set for the objects were turned off. I had to spend time resetting them. This is terrible.

I want to get my  developer to have access to our Figma on dev mode, but it says mine is still on a starter account, can someone help me find how to convert my account and allow her to gain access?

It just took me a long time to figure out why background blur “wasn’t working”. You need to set the fill opacity (! not appearance opacity) to some value less than 100%. This is not intuitive.Suggestions:Do what XD did. Make the background blur appear the instant you set the object to “Background Blur” Do something in the UI to make it clear you need to adjust other settings before the blur will work. Don’t make me hunt the internet to figure out basic functions. Make the UI self-explanatory. 

is there a way, not to lose overrides when building a component from an instance where a string variable for changing viewports was applied?  The problem is that the component is very complex, so I had to build variants for the viewports. When I link the instance of a component with a string variable, everything works perfectly. All overrides are there! However, since this is a component of a design system, I would like the viewport switch directly in the instance of the component, without having to first link it to the string variable of the viewports. When I create a new component from the instance linked to the string, the breakpoint switch works, but unfortunately, my overrides are lost. Is there a workaround for this?Thanks for help :)

Hello. There seems to be a problem with the constraints of components. Seems like one part of the document is ok and the other not. I’ve tried everything from duplicating the document, copying to another page, etcThe only thing that worked is that I moved everything on the page to the left, but everything beyond the point in the video does not work. It’s bugging out.Because of this bug, I cannot create more variations.Please help me fix this. It’s driving me crazy. Hello there,I recently created more than 500 design tokens and applied them to our design system, but I'm blocked by the upscale modal when I try to publish my update.I don’t use more than 4 variable modes in my entire collection.I don’t see any limitations mentioned on the pricing page, and the support doc states that there is support for +5000 variables.I really don’t understand why I can’t publish my variables on the Organization plan. encountered an issue where SF Symbols' Unicode characters were not rendered accurately in Figma. Despite using a high-resolution Mac, the output quality did not meet the expected precision. Please find the referred screenshot.

I have created a template in Figma Slides. It contains several illustrations that are defined in a library within a design file in Figma.When I replace these illustrations, the colors within the illustration change to different color variables. All illustrations are set up with color variables defined in Figma, and this library is also added to Slides. In the preview in Slides, the colors appear correct.  

I made 3 button states as a component set. Then I set the interaction as follows:Assign → Click, Change to → Assigned (Issue: Only the text didn’t change to the Assigned state)Assigned → Hover, Change to → Remove (Worked as expected)I wonder why every time I made Click, Change to interaction between the component set didn’t change the text on the prototype preview. Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that Figma’s search functionality has changed recently. Previously, when searching for files within the Figma app, the search bar would consider text from file covers as input, making it easier to find files based on keywords displayed in the cover images. However, this no longer seems to be working. Has anyone else experienced this? Was this an intentional update, or could it be a bug? If there’s a new way to enable this behavior, I’d love to know! Would appreciate any insights or possible workarounds. Thanks!

Hi, it’s been a few months already and I still struggle with an old version of workspace, with menu bar on the top left. Desktop app says that there are no updates available. I tried all the ways, different devices, downloading the app again, downloaded it with the clean mac. Within the same desktop app, with different e-mail I can see the newest version, but I’d like to be able to work with my account e-mail address.
