Hi, it seems that background blur doesn't work for sticky layers. I found the exactly the same topic from a year ago-

it would be amazing if you could fix it, please! :)

Hi @anna.smejkalova, thanks for flagging this!

Nice catch linking the older thread, but we actually already pushed a fix that shipped back in April 2025, which is why we closed that topic. If you're still having a related issue, could you help us with a few things?

  1. A URL link with view access to (or copy of) the file/frame where you're seeing this, similar to what was shared by users in the older topic
  2. Whether you're on browser or desktop app, and roughly when you last saw this working correctly
  3. A quick screen recording, if possible

With these, we can confirm whether this is a regression or a new edge case and get it in front of the right team. Thanks again for flagging!

Hi, @djv  I've been trying to do some research and figure out this issue for a couple of hours. I learned that in order for background blur to work, fill opacity must be decreased. But what I didn't know is that the general layer opacity mustn't be decreased at the same time, has to stay 100%. As soon as I removed this obstacle, it works like a charm 👍🏻 Thank you and sorry, I would have closed the topic but it seems that I am not allowed to do it myself. Have an amazing day 🙂
