I’ve granted full access to another person as a seat and he could make edits to the file yesterday, but he cannot today. He can move elements around but not edit text! Help please

Figma prototype keeps opening in the web browser and not the Figma app, even when the app is downloaded and logged in. 

I'm participating in a Connected Project as a guest and encountering an issue with Figma MCP.Around September, I was able to use Figma MCP without any problems, but recently it has started returning the following error: Error: This resource couldn't be accessed. IMPORTANT: Before continuing, you must tell the user to make sure their paid Figma seat includes Dev Mode access, they have the right permissions for this file, and the provided link is valid.I have a Full Seat on my own team and can edit files in the guest project, so I don't believe there are any permission issues. (I can access files from my own team via the MCP server.)The host is on an Org Plan, and I'm a guest on a Pro Plan.I'm using the desktop MCP server.Does anyone have any information about this? I’m trying to publish a set of templates in Buzz, but they don’t show up under “ready to publish” (see screenshot).I’ve closed and reopened figma (desktop) a billion times and nothing. I also deleted all the earlier templates I tried to test and made a new one (copying directly out of my figma file) because this was happening in another file. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? It worked like once and then I tried to add more templates to the file and now it’s not working at all.  

Hello, I have seen this issue quite a few times in the forum (locked out of Figma account that is tied to school email that can no longer be accessed) and was unable to get a response after I opened a support ticket, so here I am seeking help for this issue.The workaround that is suggested by Support staff on this forum (email forwarding) is not an option for me unfortunately.Thank you!

I have tried several times to log in and verify my student profile, but each time it tells me I still need to "verify status." If I try again to verify it, I get the message "Verification Limit Exceeded. We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer." What should I do? I’ve already contacted the figma support but they haven’t responded yet…I really need my figma education account for my uni finals

I’ve been running into an issue when using Make to generate prototypes. During generation, Figma often crashes or freezes. After refreshing the page，the prompt I just entered is lost and the prototype generation does not complete. However, AI balance points are still deducted, even though no result is returned 😐.From a user perspective, this feels unexpected: if there’s no successful output, points probably shouldn’t be charged.Has anyone else experienced similar behavior with Make? Any comments from the Figma team would be appreciated.

I’ve tried turning it off and on, clearing the cache, switching browsers, and even creating a new account, but every time I enter an AI prompt I keep getting a “something went wrong” error.

Hello! I’m trying to publish a library to Figma Make, but the “Export to Figma Make” option isn’t appearing. I also tested this with other libraries, and the option never showed up for any of them. Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you!  

FigJam can embed static previews from many sites — it can even embed interactive previews from YouTube.However, it can’t properly embed static previews from social sites like Instagram, Threads, X/Twitter, and TikTok. When pasting a link to an Instagram post, it initially shows a preview box (as if it’s loading), but then reverts to a plain text link.Here’s FigJam’s inconsistent link embed behavior across social sites:Instagram posts will not embed and only show a link to the post. Threads posts will embed, but will not show any text or images related to the post — only a generic “Threads – threads.com” label. Hello everyone, I am managing a design system to use with Figma Sites. I built this side navigation component:The navigation items are instances of the “nav item” component:Everything fine till here, but then when I import the side navigation component in Figma sites this happens:It replaces one icon with the button component. This happens only for this specific instance and apparently with no reason. Libraries are updated. I tried resetting the instance but it doesn’t work. The icon name and the button name are different. Note that I tested the side nav component on a normal Figma file and it works fine. Does anyone have any idea of why this happens? I can’t use Figma Sites with this bug.

Want to remove the education plan status from my account. I am the admin and i am still not getting an option to remove it.

Hello Figma Support,After working on a file and reopening it the next day, I encountered the following issues. Please advise why this is happening and how to fix it. Some text layers show different content or have moved to different positions. If I double-click a text layer, the visible text immediately reverts to the original content I had entered. However, the layer’s position remains changed and does not return to its original location. When I drag a layer out of a section and drop it elsewhere, the text also reverts to the original input (same as item 1), but the position still does not revert. Steps and observations: I saved and closed the file after editing on yesterday. When I reopened the file on today, the problems appeared. Double-clicking restores text content but not layer position. Dragging elements out of a section triggers the same text-content revert behavior, while positions stay incorrect. Could you please let me know: What might cause text content and pos

I’ve just cancelled my Professional plan as I’m not using it enough to justify the cost. My monthly subscription is listed as renewing on January 16, 2026, so I would expect access to my files to be terminated at that point and would not expect any further charges. However, when I cancelled, there was a notification stating that the subscription renews in June 2026. Could you please confirm that there will not be any further charges going forward as I do not want the Professional plan from the end of this month’s billing period.Many thanks, Paul

When attempting to verify, the page reads that my verification limit has been exceeded.I’ve already contacted Figma Education and SheerID, but have gotten no responses from either (it’s been a week). Hello,I was on a Professional (monthly) plan and let it end / canceled it at the end of the last billing period. I confirmed that my workspace is now on the free plan and there is no active paid subscription visible in my account.Despite this, I have been charged again on my card after the professional plan ended. Figma Make it not working properly at all. There is some serious issue across the product. After it finishes the first prompt, the app gets stuck in “Thinking…  Building your idea” screen. I waited for 40 mins and it has not moved.  When I refresh, it gives me a UI which all i can say is pure “ABOMINATION” I ensured I added the perfect design frame and yet it messed up Just to be sure I redid my previous successfully made apps with same frame and prompt, yet it either got stuck or made something I have no idea what to call. Its not publishing, shows unsuccessful error. A weird black line appearing on all the app its building (example added below) You can a diagonal white line behind the cards!  Idk something seems very wrong and weird. Please fix it.

Why isn’t it possible to set specific options for italic or bold variants on Text Styles in Figma Slides?It seems like it chooses at random which option to reference — sometimes sticking to one option for a period of time and then randomly switching to another option later.I want to be able to control this!

When using “Undo” I want to undo changes not “clicks” or selections.Yes, this is addressed in several threads, but this is one of the reasons Figma is so frustrating, that I seriously considers changing job to a company NOT using figma. Funny how a UX design-tool can have a terrible User Experience.Question: Will and When do we get this fixed?
