When clicking any element in dev mode the values for spacing etc. are always shown on the center of the main axis which may not be on screen which is pretty annoying:In the following image you can see the problem, only a small portion of the blue spacing name is visible (/40) and you cant see the spacing of red/pink area at all without scrolling.  

So, I have a blue arrow that goes to the Tie Beam rect, and an orange arrow that goes out to another rect. But, the problem is: the incoming, blue arrow head is not rendered. Instead, it draws the orange one. I have checked the head of both arrow, as you can see, it is incorrect.  

Why on earth do I manually have to add up all the values from the box model to get an elements total width or height?Its just super annoying that you first have to pay for that garbage and then manually have to calculate or look up values everywhere. 

Hello everyone,I just removed all interactions from the prototype by mistake when working on a project. 💀I right clicked on the Prototype page because I was having trouble connecting a section. Clicked on “Remove all interactions” thinking it would hide them temporary so I coud have a better view. I almost cried when I realized all the conections were lost. Why did the system didn’t even ask for a confirmation?!I tried everything, but no Ctrl + Z or Version Story could solve it. I tried to re-connect it all but I had a meeting in 1 hour. Of course I wasn’t able to fix the whole project… I saw another post of Mark_Roudebush talking about the same experience 3 years ago and I’m shocked that Figma hasn’t solved that yet. It should totally have a confirmation, it’s a delicate decision for the user and it keeps happening to many designers.Outrageous 

Continuing the discussion from Paste to Replace sometimes causes the object to shift position: When I’m trying to Paste to Replace a screen that’s currently connected within a flow (AKA there is an arrow that connects to it before, and it has an arrow connecting it to another screen afterwards), the connecting arrow from the replaced screen suddenly makes position of the arrows go weirdly up. I have to always double click the arrow to reset it to the original position. Noticed it affects comment pins, too. I tried to Paste to Replace a screen that had a comment pinned on it, and after replacing, it displaced the comment to somewhere to the left. It’s happened every single time I do Paste to Replace that it’s getting a bit annoying ☹

When I change the auto layout canvas stacking order setting and then click out of the settings panel, I get the educational popup informing me that the “spacing mode” options have moved. I remember seeing this popup a long time ago when that feature first released, but it started showing up again about a week ago (rough estimate). I click “Got it” every time I see it, but it appears regardless, every time I change the stacking order.  

when I insert a component (any component) into my canvas it automatically has a -90° rotation. this is very annoying and I would like it to stop. has anyone had this issue and knows of a solution?

There’s a bug in the way Figma handles tab navigation, which makes it very confusing when dealing with text boxes in autolayouts with wrap enabled.The individual items that are in the autolayout, when tabbed, will go correctly to the next item in the autolayout.However, if you select text in a textbox that is in an autolayout with wrap and you tab, it will go downwards no matter what, and will not follow the same tab order as the autolayout’s wrapped elements.I’ve recorded this bug so it’s much easier to visualize: 

Extremely frustrating, I will come into a file one day and the text layer on all variants will be missing. I have several dialogs with these secondary buttons, all missing the text layer.I need to click the component and the text layer will appear again. This is using Inter font. Is this on the team’s radar to be fixed?

After creating a template with 24 slides, I’m unable to see the contents of the slides after clicking the “View template” option or when adding a new slide in a new presentation. Occasionally the contents of the last three slides might appear, but that reset remain empty. The template has been shared with the team.I can hit the “Add all slides” option and each slide presentation shows up (see left column below) but the “preview” is not working at the moment. 

Hello there… When I use the overlay function for a Modal in Figma, my modal has multiple frames showing different states. The problem is that my boss often uses the left and right arrow keys to switch between frames, but arrows don’t work in the overlay.I tried binding the "back" action to the arrow keys on the frames within the overlay, but that didn’t work either.Thanks for any advice or an update—this issue has been around for years

When underlining a text button, the registration mark or other marks don’t underline properly. The new offset feature also doesn’t fix this issue. Is there a way to underline the baseline of the text layer instead of the characters?

Bug DescriptionI have built a prototype using components and variables. Specifically, the situation involves one component being hidden and another displayed. These components are linked to another library.The Issue:Text within the displayed component is no longer visible, leaving the field blank. (See attached screenshot.) This issue does not occur on Mac, in Chrome browser, or in the Figma app. However, the bug appears on Windows devices, particularly in Edge browser. Additionally, the issue seems to affect external users who are not logged into Figma.Since this is a test file, the issue occurs consistently (100% of the time). Impact and ChallengesThis bug has already consumed significant time and resources. I am conducting user tests, and getting a bug when using a mobile web browser. The page will try loading repeatedly and crash. Yesterday the same prototype was working fine in a mobile browser, and at the moment the same prototype preview is working well in a desktop browser. On my end, this is quite time sensitive, as I have back to back user tests booked all week. I get a message that states a problem repeatedly occurred on “…”

Experiencing issues in Figma with local components, in particular where they were looked correct for a long time and now nearly every day when you open the file they appear broken across all the screens but when but you click into the component it fixes itself?Tried reloading the file / tab and doing the click into the component fix but next day it’s broken again.Any reason why it keeps happening when it was fine before?

If you create a button component with a variant for a pressed state and add a "Change to" action to make it interactive, the placed instance will remain in its pressed state when an "On click" action is applied.Steps to reproduce:1. I created a subcomponent with autolayout and organized a menu of images registered together with those components.Obviously, I made it in left alignment and it kept looking like that, but at some point when I turned it off and turned it back on, the components were randomly aligned to the right.The main component remains the same, but only in all instances it looks like this. What's wrong with that? instance main component 

Hello, my computer is Mac, and my Figma cannot read local fonts in the browser, but it can read them on the client. What's going on? I uninstalled and reinstalled the font program in the browser, but the problem still didn't get solved. I restarted the Mac, but the problem didn't get solved either.

Hi Team,I hope this messages finds you all in good Health.I have experienced a very unexpected thing, one of my figma design file disappeared from our Team’s Paid Project. No one deleted that file nor someone have moved it somewhere else. Is there’s a possibility for the file to get removed or something. I need to get that file back which contains alot of our company work.Waiting for quick response.

I suddenly can't use the Esc button to deselect things, as I'm used to. I’ve tried to restart both figma and my mac (I know it’s stupid but it does work sometimes). I also saw that in my shortcut list the shortcut is there, active, but for some reasons… it just stopped working randomly.Does anyone know how to fix it?Thanks!
