Hi, I’m having trouble with my Figma design.
After about 30 minutes of use, every time I double-click to enter a deeper auto-layout, Figma gets stuck in "freehand" mode. I can’t do anything—click, scroll, input text, or even move things in freehand mode itself. The cursor remains stuck in hand mode even after changing pages.
Has anyone else experienced this? How can I solve it?

In the meantime, here are a few things you can try:
Force-quit and restart Figma (browser or desktop app) to see if that helps
Try using a different browser (The minimum browser requirements are: Chrome 99+, Firefox 101+, Safari 16+, or Microsoft Edge 121+) or, switch to the desktop app if you’re using the browser
Temporarily disable browser extensions to rule out conflicts
Open a different file to check if the issue is specific to one file (if so, please share in your support ticket the link of the affected file, and grant edit access to support-share@figma.com so the team can take a closer look at it. This will not affect your billing.)
