Figma Slides Hyperlinks Not Clickable on Mobile Presenations

When sharing my Figma Slides presentation with clients, the hyperlinked text is not clickable on mobile. When clients try to tap the link, the presentation progresses to the next slide instead of opening the link in another tab like it does on desktop.

It’s important to note that these clients do not have the Figma mobile app and will not be downloading it in the future, so this solution must apply to the mobile browser version of the Presentation links.

Am I missing something or is this not possible? Please advise.

Hi @aspen,

I understand you're experiencing an issue where hyperlinked text in your Figma Slides presentations isn't clickable on mobile browsers, causing the presentation to advance instead.

I just tested this on my end using an audience link in my mobile Chrome browser, and I observed two different behaviors.

When the link opens correctly, a bar appears at the top of the screen, suggesting I'm properly logged into Figma.

However, when the link doesn't open and the presentation advances instead, that top bar isn't present, indicating I might not be logged in.

For example, if I set a presentation to "Anyone can view" in the sharing modal and open the link in a mobile incognito window, the link within the presentation doesn't open.

In the following article, it mentions that "Users with view access to a file can only follow links," so this behavior might be expected: Add links to text

Could you please confirm whether your clients are logged into Figma when they open the presentation link on their mobile browsers?

Thanks,
