hello, i have a problem with my email, every time i log figma shows me as a viewer  not the owner of my profile, and tell me to ask for a permission to make a new project or even edit anything.and i have to log in all the time, even if i just log in and opened a new tap.  

I'm developing a Figma plugin that scans and fixes styles with missing variable references. However, I can't find a way to unbind variables without recreating styles, which breaks library references.My current approach is to save style properties, create a new clean style, and delete the original - but this breaks all external references when using libraries.Is there a method to remove variable bindings without recreating styles? Can textStyle.setBoundVariable(propertyName, null) work for unbinding? Any plans to implement proper unbinding functionality?This is critical for design systems when variables are renamed or removed. Any insights would be appreciated!

Until last week, our projects present the variable from last table to first (4, 3, 2, 1):  But now its reversed (1, 2, 3, 4), showing the primitives before the mode.This is a bug? Can we invert this order? 

I just discovered that only outlined icon styles are working. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Originally posted in Feature Request, though I realized it is more of a problem….Currently, Plugins take top z-index over the Edit Properties panels. This makes the Panels unusable when a Plugin is positioned at the right of the design area as the Panels are under the Plugin. Because I prefer and am used to using my Plugins on the right of the design area I have to either close it and reopen for ever use (absolutely ridiculous) or have it out from the side far enough to see the panels when they are opened. IN the case of a large Plugin such as Tokens Studio, this is an enormous amount of screen space even with my ultrawide screen.Simple fix.Thanks! ...Also, it would be beneficial to have the ability to edit the post if there are no replies.

TL;DR: Navigating any figma canvas using middle mouse click-to-hold no longer works for me. A small but frustrating change greeting me after a reboot this morning involving the hand tool in the figma ecosystem. When we jumped from sketch to figma a while back, I tried to reset muscle memory and take advantage of the new layout. One of the things I changed was swapping holding spacebar to navigate around the canvas for using the center mouse button to click-and-hold. ‘space+h’ and ‘’h’ are still working as shortcuts, just not the mouse.  Anyone else experiencing this? Did I toggle some shortcut on accident and I just can’t locate it to turn it back on? 

I am using the new Figma Desktop App version 125.2.3. Ever since I have updated this I am having issues loading files and the client crashes quiet frequently. This is now becoming quiet disruptive when I am trying to make progress with the work I am doing.There is also another issue where I get a -2 Error (Figma not connected to the internet) or something like that when I have internet.Can someone help please?

Hi -  I need to contact Figma support, we are being invoiced on a monthly basis, however the charges placed on our credit card are up to double the invoice value in the billing portal.We need invoices to match charges otherwise we must charge back the transactions.Any idea who can assist with this type of query. Hi! I’m using a Wacom Pen (Wacom Intuos Pro M) and having problem every time I’m using Right Click command in Figma. My file freeze and I have to reload to get started again. I know that more people are having this problem. Any solution? I have the latest Wacom driver, updated Figma and MacOs Monterey. /Pierre

Problem: I need to have separator between product card made by component “gap-column” - because sometimes we need to have advanced deviders… Thats why I cant do it with Autolayout row and column gapThe widht of the gap is set by Variable “gap-column”What is Figma doing: If I have 5 cards and the deviders between tha cards and I set height to Fill. Now it works fine. If I change width of hole section, it works.BUT: If I set the variable gap-column from 16px to 48px (fo example) - som of deviders switch to fixed height and some stay Fill… After I set height to fill again, it works fine.BUT: I need to set the width of devider 16 to 48 to 16 and I need to have the height still Fill!Why it is happening? I am solving it two days and still cant solve the problem why it is happening.I thing I know Figma very well, and this is veny annoying!Look at the video to feel it... 

In a Figma slide deck, the banner at the top of the screen that says "you're viewing a template, made by..." or “you can still use an older version of this template.” obscures the rulers, making them unusable horizontalyIs there another way ? I know how grid works but that’s too much effort compare to create a guide  

I’ve encountered a bug in which some elements are shifting for no reason. Has someone else encountered something similar?  This first picture shows how this list should look: When I reload the document the divisor lines shift out of the box to the bottom. When I try to move them back to their place they snap back into place as if they were always there. Heres what i see after i reload the document: 

Hi, I’ve previously shared this prototype with external users using the email field. But now I can’t add any other people, nor can I change the link setting which says “Anyone can view.”  Is the lack of an email field and no ability to change the setting to require a pw a bug or am I missing something?  

I just upgraded to a pro account. But I’m unable to create a new design file. Is a pro account not able to create a design file?  I have my pro plan team selected.  I created a new project If I try to ‘create new’ design file in that project. It asks me to request access. Which is very odd. I’m the only one on my team, and I just created the project. So I’m asking myself to approve me to create a file. (?) If I go to the admin section for the team. It is asking me to approve myself. But if I approve myself. Figma wants me to add another seat for an additional $20 a month. This makes no sense. How many accounts do I need to buy to use your software? 

I’m being charged twice for my Professional account yet I can’t access the professional account features. That in itself is another issue that I have yet to figure out how it happened. My main issue is; I’m inside of Figma Slides trying to add a background video and being notified that I need to upgrade my account in order to access this feature (adding background videos to slides). The strange thing is I’ve already added a background video... Again, I’m for some reason being charged for two professional accounts and your system is telling me I’m in a starter plan… I’ve tried logging out and logging back in with no resolve. I’m starting to get frustrated as I can’t get in contact with anyone to discuss the issue in detail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We’re currently working on a highly complex component that supports 2–6 slots, multiple states (Default, Hover, Focus, Disabled, etc.), and two size variants (Large & Small). Users can select the desired number of slots from a dropdown, and each slot is set to Fill within the container.However, we’ve encountered a major issue—when designers replace a slot with pre-defined slot elements and then change the state (e.g., Default → Hover or Disabled) or switch between Large and Small variants, the component does not retain its content or any overridden properties in an instance.This is adding unnecessary complexity and preventing us from achieving the desired functionality. Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a workaround for retaining content and overrides when switching states or sizes? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Figma Team,I’m experiencing a critical issue with my Figma design files. Whenever I open any existing or new file, the canvas is completely blacked out, making it impossible to view any designs. However, the left sidebar, right sidebar, top left, and center toolbar are all visible.Additionally, when I share the file link with others, my profile is not visible, and the collaborative mode does not appear to be active.Please assist me in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been using 8 as the big nudge amount for years, and now using Figma Slides for the first time, I noticed the nudge amount was 10 - meaning it was not shared from the normal files/figjam to Slides.I was able to change it in the preferences, but it was weird that it was not the same.
