 In Light mode I can easily see which component is selected. But on dark mode it is a bit harder.

I am able to access my Library variables when editing object details: But when I try to use the Set Variable function in an interaction, I can only choose local variables: This problem seems to be limited to the Set Variable function; when I am creating conditionals I can access Library variables just fine:  

Hey there, I’m running into library publishing failure and am hoping someone can offer a solution.  Context:The library is a design system file that has successfully published as recently as the afternoon fri, 2/28 (today is tue, 3/4) The file memory usage is only 7%, and laptop has 50% available memory The system contains atomic and simple molecular components with variant properties, and local variables for text and color I have triple checked the entire file for conflicting component properties and/or nested instances that might cause loops – it’s possible I missed something, but the library was publishing until a few days ago The last changes I made before publishing began to fail was to apply semantic color variables to icons however, I had successfully published updates with those variables to other components previously, so can’t imagine this is the culprit The file has 87 changes to publish, with 0 conflicting instances. Hi! I was able to publish my library without any issues this morning, but now I'm getting the error message: "Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish."I've tried reloading the page, quitting Figma, restarting my laptop, and confirming my network connection, but nothing seems to work. I've been using this file for over a year and have never encountered this issue before.  

Most of the time, I use the auto layout with first on top because I have to put dropdowns on my input fields. I have to keep changing it to first on top, because you guys made it automatically last on top for the first time setting auto layout. Can you tell me why? Or if you may, can you guys change it to first on top. That would be nice. Thanks,Rashad

SituationI’m using a component with 3 variants (default, hover, filled) as an interactive checkbox, designed in a design system file. There are no interactions in the MPC component in the design system file, only in the prototype file. This component is used on multiple screens in a prototype (a question flow with selectable answers). ProblemWhen I click an answer (switching the component to the “filled” variant), that state carries over to the same component instance on the next screen — even though I haven’t interacted with it there. So it should be in default state. Figma appears to remember the variant state globally, not per screen, which breaks the logic of my prototype. This becomes a serious problem when only one answer should be selected: if all options appear as “selected” due to previous interactions, the user can’t proceed in the flow anymore. This prototype is being tested on a fairly large scale, so we need reliable behavior. Hello Figma Community, I was really happy to learn that figma enables with the new update to write on a vector path.However, it is quite annoying, that it is not easily possible to edit the path after I put the text on it. If I double click, I just can edit the text. Sometimes I manage to edit the path, but I don’t know how to get there. I am thankful for your help.

There have been many times when I hide an icon from the right or left of a button, it has a purple box around it. Please check this.

Was the sort feature removed from the Community tab? I can’t seem to find any way to sort the results by latest/trending/etc. Is this a bug?   

When I click on an object and then press the Z key, I should be able to select a box to zoom in on the view. However, now I find that the mouse displays a magnifying glass, but the mouse can still move the object.

If you go to the Edit variant property panel and try to grab one of the variants at the bottom of the list and drag it up, you will sometimes get the grab icon appearing in between items: Example of bug 

We have a design system with 3 variable modes for brands, this includes different colors and fonts for each brand. If I have, for exemple Component - Variable Mode Brand 1 (Default) and  Component - Variable Mode Brand 2, and I try to resize them using Scale (K) (either together ir individually), the following happens: 1. Component - Variable Mode Brand 1 (Default) keeps it's font family2. Component - Variable Mode Brand 2 changes the font family to the default used in Variable Mode Brand 1 The same thing happens with a third component using Variable Mode Brand 3. Here is a GIF I made from a video of me having this issue:   Any configuration I am using wrong?I do have all fonts installed and can change text and do anything else with them without having this problem. I do believe it's a bug. While this doesn't stop my normal workflow of designing screens for handoff as we never resize components, we sometimes need to this for some internal documentation to better illustrate or focus on

When I set my preference to have the zoom controlled with the mouse wheel, rather than the mouse wheel scrolling the view vertically, it works briefly, but then reverts to the original behavior. The preference selection still shows the new setting, but the web app is not honoring it. If I turn it off and on again, it works again...and then doesn’t. Dev mode and design mode.In Dev mode, it works until I use the center-mouse button, instead of the left mouse button, to pan. In Design mode, the left mouse button and drag selects, so I only use center + drag to pan. In that mode, the wheel zoom works until the first use of the center button. Changing modes resets things to the expected state (temporarily).

I have vector shapes selected. When typing “subtract” in the Actions search field, the action doesn’t show up in the list of options. When typing other vector boolean actions, like “union” or “intersect”, they do show up.This occurs in both desktop app as well as in the browser. Subtract would show up in the list of Action options in the previous version of Figma. 

Stroked elements (such as form fields) are not working in fill containers in responsive prototypes. The issue started on April 8th.

Hello Figma Users, I am Lead designer and while designing the product in figma I found glitch that there is no proper syncing between the library file and design file. Detailed description : I have created one main component in the library file and I published the library without any error and now there is no more any changes in library file and publish button get disable because everything in the library file has been published. Now when I am in the design file, I couldn’t see any pending updates in the design file because I already updated the library file into the design file so there is no more pending updates however all the changes which I made in the component doesn’t reflects in the design file instance of that main component. I tried lots of ways to do, I spent lots of time even though I couldn’t find anything. The Problem When I am in the edit mode of an annotation and try to click the more actions icon (...) to access the more action menu, no menu appears. It doesn’t matter if it’s an existing annotation or a newly created one, the menu won’t appear when triggered. When annotations was first released I remember being able to access the menu. Now it no longer works. To ReproduceLocate an annotation or create a new one. Once located/created, double click the notation to activate edit mode. I created a file for work, there were my layouts. As a user, I was in a corporate team, and after leaving this team, my personal file disappeared, which was not inside the corporate Figma. I search for it by name, I search in the list of deleted, and it is nowhere. How can I restore access to it? I tried to return to the corporate team to find the file, but this did not give results, it simply does not exist. Although I remember its name exactly, I can not restore it. I once had a similar situation when a file disappeared after leaving corporate mail, but then I had a link to it and could go in, but now there is no link, and how can I restore access to it? I tried the option when I rejoined the team in Figma, but this did not give a result.

Hi! I first had this problem today, with designs that previously published correctly: center-aligned frames are publishing as left-aligned divs. See example below showing (top to bottom) 1) Previewing page within Figma Sites, 2) Autolayout settings, 3) Published page as displayed in Chrome

Everything works fine on my end, but both of them had the same issue—one on a computer and the other on a phone. Hi all,Love the new figma Buzz feature.There two things I’m missing currently:I’m working with a CSV with variable fields - some contain content, some don’t. But when importing a csv sometimes the empty cells aren’t recognized and Buzz still adds content to it. If there are multiple empty cells; only the first one is left empty, the rest is left untouched. The other thing is this: I would like Buzz to remember which fields are linked to which column/row - now when i run into an error I have to reupload the csv file and link every field again. If I miss one and the import fails, I have to start all over again - allowing for a similar mistake again. Would be amazing if Buzz could recognize the column titles and remember these, spot differences. An extra feature request would be to be able to hide or show layers based on content in a cell: i.e. if the cell contents are /hide to hide the entire frame.
